Life has happened to her. Wisdom profitteth to direct Do not say yes, when you mean to say no. #DecideNow. |
Character Assassination? Really? Who invented/ introduced/perfected this type of campaign? You shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house and if you have a glass jaw, you should watch your mouth. GEJ and 2015 propaganda/elections come to mind. A taste of their own medicine, now they want to sue. Funny folk. |
It's not about the rejection. It's about how you've decided to take said rejection. Rejection is a stepping stone. The moment you see it as such, your friend and not your enemy, things will start to happen for you. What did you do with the rejection? Its supposed to help you sharpen your skills, upgrade your CV, seek more knowledge on matters etc. Doing these things with rejection will give you an advantage in your next interview or endeavor. Rejection, especially from job opportunities means you have a problem/challenge that you need to face, change, improve, adjust or upgrade. Once you make those corrections, you'll overcome. I'm no motivational speaker but I'm telling you based on what I have experieneced. Never think you're the only one being rejected. It happens to the best of us. There are NGO jobs all around. Just look around. Think of what you're good at considering work you've done in the past, put together a cv and go from there. Most people have experience that they're not aware they have. Example, if you've supervised any project, be it building to completion, set up a small or medium business(wether it succeeded or not), etc, that is a form of Project management experience(It's not until you get the prof qualification....though it's an added advantage to have such)....but most peeps don't even know....same with some other small soft skills/things we do in life that when added to our profiles can boost chances. Be positive and avoid depression. Goodness34: |
Only the witless would be awed by this news. Hehehe...the Northern hegemony is a very strong Oligarchy. Yet other tribes keep bickering like little kids. |
Please don't borrow that you can't payback. See OP quoting rules of 60days....do these rules only apply to the loansharks? Why put yourself through their ordeal? I used to blame their tactics until I found that Nigerians abused the system. In one case with one well known org, I was asked " why can't the government or the many agencies clamping down on the loan sharks give the defaulters their own money and not recover it? People, learn to read the fine print. You accepted the Ts&Cs. Jts better to just avoid them if you cant payback in 7 days. ijustdey: |
You're still convinced God showed her to you ![]() Continue ignoring the red flags now, consoling yourself. You better cut your coat according to your cloth. captaininiobong: |
This video is INSPIRATIONAL. Enough of this rubbish from our youth. You ready to kill but you no wan die....can you just imagine. No pity for his skull cos ts obviously a waste. |
Marriage of convenience. Now the Akinsiku guy wants a career woman. He needs Mochabo to ease his status in Kenya. That's why I don't advice/fancy any woman being a total stay at home wife...no matter the "love". You must be educated, productive and independent to an extent. |
LEGENDARY! This write-up is Rated PG16. NOT FOR READERS UNDER THE AGE OF 16. TRULY DOGGED. Respect!!! You don't f*** with experience and true knowledge(suspected sex therapist alert.) doggedfighter: |
No details. Well it seems the story was lifted. We should know the spot or general area where this happened. Is it the same place as the previous occurrences? Any pictures? That helps. Thank God for you all the same. |
The way you emphasised the "Yoruba" in the "Girl" is interesting. Well, marriage is the only school where you get your certificate before you even register courses but you never graduate. Take am easy. We know say she fine (for your eyes) and e be like say if you slow, them go thief am. But better you know her first. A couple of months isn't bad. Don't be that guy. |
We always excel given the good opportunities and right environment everywhere we go. Thank God for this News. We shouldn't only hear about those ruining the Nigerian reputation. Congrats to them and to Nigeria. |
Well, this may not be a good move though it has short term benefits. However, know that you've automatically become responsible for that child. Should anything happen to her (especially with the current security situation in the country), it won't look good. What if she gets pregnant, she gets missing or raped or worse ...Just spit-balling.Ask your mom her REAL reason for the ill-treatment of that child. I think you should contact them and let them know your reasons. Downside maybe that Mom will become angry and tell you to train her then, since you know it all....that burden you certainly cannot carry. You don't want law enforcement investigating a "suspected kidnapping" case. Their involvement makes things worse except it would also bring the child-abuse case to light. But you don't want to be on the wrong side of the law in whatever case. Are you really ready for this battle? Deborah200299: |
Deborah200299:Bless your soul!!! You're a rare gem. Usually, the female child/children take sides with Mums in situations like this but you're objective. Though I find your disdain for your pops a little disturbing. Perhaps you're pissed he cheated on your mom...but pls with regards to your Pops and Mom, DON'T TAKE ALAGBIN FOR ANOTHER MAN'S HEADACHE "....cos you can never understand why your mom treats him better than you would ...she probably blames herself for the child( which is wrong by the way). Just be wise in letting your mom and brothers know what they're doing is wrong ( so you're not branded "traitor" while you try to get the human rights activists.Goodluck, you Diamond in the rough. |
Did this 60+ old man think they would live happily ever after? How did that union happen? Married at 19...Was she betrothed to him? God punish poverty!!! |
To those justifying the inhumane treatment of that nanny, "another man head na firewood" I hope y'all will be this knowledgeable if it touches you? She's not guilty until proven otherwise! You're comparing this with Germany and so on...are the authorities of those countries as unprofessional/crass as those in Naija? Wish others as you.would want. |
Did OP say "Another Hippo"? Meaning they'd been killing them before now? What a waste. How can we be deliberately depleting our natural treasures? The responsible Government agency should act fast. I hope they see this news. Really sad. Yes hippos are very aggressive but that's because they're very territorial and often underestimated because they're cute herbivores. That's no justification to kill them. |
felong:We shall overcome!!! But try use table salt. That works even more than paste. ![]() Where there's a will, there's a way bro. |
MJ don dey try for this her Waffi Levels o! |
True definition of "playing with death" and "a narrow escape" Infact you need to do an affidavit to either change or add "LUCKY" ORIYOMI" to your existing names. You'd have either ended up with a corpse or an STD. Kinda sad for the girl tho. She's either desperately in need of the cash or out for revenge on "guys"... All the same, congrats on surviving your close shave with death or a miserable life at least. Wether she scammed you or not is not important. You said it yourself "body don full" .... can you imagine how many "smart guys" had penetrated before it was your turn ![]() Hope you've learnt a few more lessons. |
For real? So who's to blame for those broken marriages or those that ended up in physical/emotional deaths or injuries from spousal abuse? Are parentsnow supposed to be Psychic? jeff1607: |
OP. Nothing to fear if you're gucci. Like you said, it'd been happening before you married your wife and you knew about it. Did you ever raise it as a concern to her then? Is your mother in-law not a good enough role model? There's probably a reason you're concerned. If she's a good enough person, know that marriage requires experienced advice from our reliable elderly ones. Way I see it, if you're doing your best as a "good" husband, there won't be any fallout on you or your home. It depends on your wife and the level of understanding between both of you. Plus, hope you know the calls/convos can still happen without you ever knowing? Be happy you're not in the dark. |
Delhi, Liverpool...fake names? |
Hmm...that's a rather hasty conclusion on the true gender of that moniker. Haven't you seen men that despise other men and vice-versa? Even blacks who despise fellow Black's? All the same, serious attonement needs to be done to restore his/her faith in and love for Men. Thomthom: |
Which was it? Was he at Minna as claimed by his campaign council or at this event? Naija journalism. Then, those of you assaulting and insulting each other over Obi and BAT or Atiku, these guys don't know y'all. I'm sure y'all will go beserk/ape-sh*t on each other If given weapons. Although most of you are Keyboard Warriors See BAT partying and flexing, same as Atiku and Obi have been doing? Why all this? |
I guess the definition of "Performance" has become relative. Either that epic failure is now the new performance or they're just in denial |
Dude can't catch a break... Well, his day of reckoning ...like will come soon for all other looters of Nigerian Patrimony...Karma can and will be ruthless! |
Before nko? |
You're over estimating him/her. I bet he/she's not affluent or even an indigene of any major city in Nigeria. Haven't you noticed that most of those who scream "go back to your village/state" aren't from Lagos? They're usually from one remote village that is too poor to be associated with, but they've lived in big cities and forgotten about their homes. deavicky: |
Davidson like some others are being sarcastic. jditimiya: |
No truer words from a Tyrant and his sheep (many of them on this NL who're quick to insult others because they eat crumbs from his table) who suffer from Stockholm syndrome. Is anyone still surprised? It's not their fault. I exchanged 1GBP for N1004 naira today. He and his ilk don't farm or depend on farming so whad'ya expect? |
Really sad. At the end of the day, there's nufin' like the care and attention of one's direct parents. Ha! Oju ti'owo. May God grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss |

while you try to get the human rights activists.
