Because the problems of this country has nothing to do with Spending a few hours in public with a dog you have trained and fed for months/years. The problems of this country doesn't stop a person from spending time with family. And pet dogs, are family.

One of the reason I told him to go and collect zara from my fiancée, was because, if am not reachable, because of my far distance then (Akwa ibom), she would be calling to get more info and also be to rush to where Zara was if need be.

But he told my fiancée not to call him again, that he has no business with her.

If everybody are saying I am at fault, I have admitted it, but where is the pictorial evidence of the dead dog? That's my question to him.

And he never show any sign of remorse and never even talked about way forward.

My problem is that I believe he's trustable, not knowing he's not somebody you can bank on

80% of the people are systematically taking his side. I don't see any sign of remorse from this pro guy neither do I see any form of professionalism on his part. He doesn't act like a professional company that he claim he is (Someone with a Certificate of Incorporation).

Let's assume the dog died (Which I doubt until proven otherwise), and no pictorial evidence (makes no sense but let's buy it small), at least as a professional, he should show some signs of remorse to even comfort you(Even if it may be fake). But from all I have seen so far, it lacks all of these. No remorse, No professionalism, Looks creepy and crappy.

Arrest the bloody dude and get this over with. Let him explain himself in court. Not on nairaland.

A pure Caucasian can be quite high to the tune of N100,000. Don't know about the Boerboels but what I know is that the Caucasian Shepherd, with presumably good quality at which you seek, may not fly at N50k.

Consider raising your budget to maybe N65/70k. You may stand a chance.

Report to the nearest Police Station. If you are in Ibadan, visit Eleyele Police Headquarters though you will need a lot of money, since it's a dog case they may not take you seriously but with money, they will. His bank information will be used against him, even his Company Registration will also be used against him. This guy can be tracked.

I've handled similar case like this before even at a lower police station though it cost me money but the result was fantastic. The scammer got served.

But please don't make this mistake again. NEVER HAND YOUR DOG'S OVER TO RANDOM DUDES THAT POST PUPPY PICTURES ON NL.

So sad but you should have your vet that handles anything regarding your dogs. I have my own vet / breeder. Even when I travel I know my dogs are in safe hands.

I don't give random people my dogs.

Different strokes for different folks. What works on the dog next door may not work for yours

There is a difference between your dog grabbing your hand for play and biting you. My dogs grab my hand a lot. Sometimes 2 of them at once grab one hand with their teeth. I don't complain. However, when they hold it hard (biting) or bite and run, I react.

My way of reaction isn't by saying 'Ouch'! Or screaming. All I use is a command I trained them with. I say "Back off!" or "Fvck off!" or "Stop it". When I say this, they walk away.

When I trained them with that command I associated the command with a few 'Tapping' and 'Spanking'. So whenever I say it, they assume I am about to spank them again, so they stop it. Isn't that the point of the whole thing? To make them stop!

I'm not encouraging beating your dog or whatever. Don't get me wrong but if your train them it won't be hard. The way I trained my dogs is my own way, you can work out your own way. If yo don't have an idea, try my method

Compare the breed standard with the dog you are looking at. That's how to tell. And you really can't tell for a tiny puppy. Until the dog is at least 3 - 6 months of age before it begins to display the traits.

I assume you want to buy a dog, in that case the parents should be your concern. Compare the parents you see with the breed standard of their breed to ascertain if they are pure or not.

No you are wrong because you fail to see my point. Lots of breeders here showcase GSD of higher amount but I do not have any negative review because the dogs worth the amount.

30k is the street value of the GSD except the slant backs. We can't deceive ourselves. Any GSD that is higher in cost is most likely Pedigree or imported or from a very big kennel or pure bloodline

My GSD pup that died cost me 72k. You see? So don't think I'm advocating for a cheap dog. You are getting me wrong. But if I can get a GSD that isn't mixed at 30k from the right person, why then should I get a mixed at 40k?

A mixed GSD is what you are selling 40k? When with 30/35k I will get a complete pure straight regular GSD.

He is no longer a newbie with an adult Boerboel and GSD. Such an individual can perfectly handle a rottweiler unless he didn't raise the Boerboel and GSD from their puppy days. Anyway, your friend should be fine with a Rottweiler.

Any breed of dog can be handled or controlled by a first time dog owner it all depends on what you want from the breed. I've seen people who have Rottweilers as their first and only dogs. They are doing fine.

He's on jojo puppy dry food mixed with chicken necks, although I don't feed chicken alive the time but I plan on giving him chicken necks at least thrice a week, and I supplement his diet with k9 favorite multivitamin and vetzyme cod liver oil

well said. I have a friend who has a straight back GSD(7 months) that has never left it's cage to me that's wickedness all in the name of he wants it to be aggressive as common with most Nigerians.

That is sadistic. My own 7/8 months GSD doesn't stay in cage. He lives in the house with me. He is a beast.
