Sometimes i am stunned by some of the things happening in Nigeria. The price of a bag of rice 40,000 Naira? Wtf? These prices are insane. I thought at the time 1,000 Naira was too much for a bag of rice. Jesus.
Its even more than 40, 000, just wait till December no one will eat rice on Christmas

You left when d rain was about to fall

This are the reason i always said that Nigerian had short memories and they don't have stamina compared to what's happened in Hong Kong,
Hong Kong people protests under the sun and heavy downpour for four months

This can not happen in Nigeria.
This has not turned to a full blown protest but people were there, they remained, am not trying to give excuse, but when d time comes i will take my bed to the street without being told.

Kudos to the guys who had stayed behind all this

the same Benin people started the Endsars protest that had spread like bonfire round the country.

The protest today was initially very peaceful till some hoodlums attacked the protesters with dangerous weapons, they held sway for over two hours, killed one and injuring scores without police intervention.the protesters had to go for re-enforcement and took the battle directly to the hoodlums killing one and also injuring many.
Shoutout to all Upper sakponba, Ugbowo and other niggas that swiftly responded Nd repelled the hoodlums.

he have no right to ban protest which is aim at good governance

or his he doing this rubbish because the citizens have not protest for him to resign ?

does he think the suffering in this country during his regime is a child's play ?

this is what I really think buhari shouldn't have done

but unfortunately for Nigeria it's leading to the country absolute division.

buhari is a tyrant
We dey observe the next step, but d endsars protest should have ended since d sars were reformed or disbanded already but d protest #endsars is still lingering around is something i cant grap why?

If d protesters have an agenda of revolution dey should come clean, and say it,

All am seeing currently is mispiorites from d protest

And is becoming boring soon even the commoners who had supported dem would loose interest on their meaningless agenda

They should come clean because endsars is already a won battle by them

I know you people problem; because Oranmiyan came all the way from Ile I've and conquered your land, that's why you're still pained.

Oranmiyan said when he died, he must be buried Ile Ife; that's why your kings' head were buried there before it was stopped just to obliterate history.

Na by force? Baba say carry my body go home.

Oranmiyan, the conqueror of Igodomi..... abeg finish am.
I tell history from a research perspective unlike you, who swim on made up shit

Can you even prove oyo and ife had a close relationship historically....

Lets start with that

Because i have read were yoruba kings were pointing that alafin had no connection to oduduwa stool, at all

If you can prove this, then we can now talk if oromiyan came to benin

I will be waiting for your fact not myth

Lets begin to tell history the way it is, not the way they said

@Gregyboy
Forget about Ado Benin whatever. Were the heads of deceased Oba of Benin used to be cut off and taken to Ile Ife for burial?

Second, The two empires then were Oyo and Benin empires; so the Oyo used to address the Benin as Ado e.g Ado Ekiti because the Benin empire was once dominant in Ekitiland.

Though 'Yoruba' is just a coinage from the Hausa used to address people under the old Oyo Empire; they all still came from Ile Ife with the exception of Ijebus; Ijebus are good friends to Oduduwa descendants and have become part of them; that's why you'd hear Ijebu -Ijesa, Ijebu-Owu, Ijebu-Remo etc.

Oga, you cannot divide us, if you don't want to be part of us, stay in your small village for Ijaws to later conquer your land. please, don't remember that you're related to Oduduwa people when it happens o.

Finally, Oduduwa nation does not even need criminals, armed robbers and prostitutes like you people, to excel.
Yoruba muslim still pokenosing into issues that doesn't concern them, your attention should be faced to the northern history not southern

Anyway no, benin-ife myth was a political stunt oba eweka11 made up for diplomatic purpose for the edo people who were recovering from the war the empire had with the British joining the emerging country nigeria he needed some support politically, in return he had accepted he was an oduduwa son to get the political favour the edo needed,

Same way yoruba entity was a made up political group to strengthen the various speakers of yoruba people for political benefits in nigeria there was a need to claim one ancestory oduduwa, who probably never existed but was just a mere idol in ife, then they made the chief priest of thiz idol ooni of ife a king which was done by awolowo, after removing the alafin of oyo who was against is political ambitions

See yoruba muslim, we, the binis or our oba has no business historically with ife or oyo, especially ife, ife and benin never crossed part until the creation of nigeria, so get that fact at the back of your mind, except you want to prove me wrong
Which i would allow you first we will make a bet to make it interesting

Oyo also was not an empire, if you insit it was then prove it.....

muslim boy abi afonja go meet your masters in the north the sultan is your king

I rather be a prostitute than be the second largest tribe in nigeria and yet the biggest coward in the country

You sell us and sell yourself cheaply to your masters in the north, by 2050 majourity of yorubas will be Muslim just in a bid to enjoy political favours from their masters, up north

If you're to take statistics of people committing crime in edo or benin you will see most of them are not edo or benin, i watch the news everyday, so please get your fact right, before you disgrace yourself beyond this

Saying Yoruba don't want break up is nonsense, there good numbers of people from others tribes that will not support breaking up of Nigeria, because of what they are benefit, does that now mean the whole trybe did same.

In every trybes in South, they are millions of people among each trybes who will against breakup, because of what they benefit.

The tradition of burying the heads of dead Benin Obas in Ile Ife was stopped just to erase history.
Lol, it seems you skipped the previous pages if not you wont be using this as a point, wherein that Etinosa1234 clearly on the first page made it know yorubas was a political movitavated move to bind all yoruba into one ancestory ife

Ife myth birthed by Samuel johson the first yoruba historian who happened to be an oyo man
Who was taken as slave to England

To further point your claim arun oba ado was wrong

Ado wasnt the name called benin in 1100 which the falsified myth between benin-ife had to have happened the name ado came much much later around late 15 century, so why is the name ado, been addressed by ife, when it came much much later

sadAs a born again Christian who is meant to speak the truth at all times, i think banning sars Is wrong and we should learn to live with their excesses. Majority of present yahoo boys are future armed robbers. What do you expect someone who doesn't have any skill than stealing from people to resort to when yahoo stops paying? They either commit suicide or turn to armed robbery just to live above their means. This is why i blame we Christians for encouraging this menace called yahoo boys. Even in churches the pastors don't care if you scam or rob people as long as you bring money to their temple. How many Muslims are involved in yahoo? How many Northerners have SARS operatives harassed? Are there no sars in the north, why are northerners not complaining like we southerners? We Christians need to learn a lot from the ways of life of the average northern Muslim. Their ways of life is guided with the tenets of Islam and they are so contented with whatever they have and would never get involved in cyber crimes.

Don't you realize that the average yahoo boy and cultists poses a security threat to your lives in future? Do you know how many have died as a result of the atrocities of yahoo boys? We need SARS to deal with those heartless vermins. Yahoo boys are no different from armed robbers. They only rob with phones, gadgets and deceit and since SARS are against robbery they must keep tracking every youth living above their means . Instead of ending SARS, why don't we end fraud and build a sane society?
