It takes strong will and discipline to avoid intimacy with married female colleagues.. surprisingly, they are usually more appealing and they just know the right things to do to arouse sexual feeling in guys.

I won't say the Op has all the fault cos from his writeup, she is the one possesive of him and even threatening him so it's safe to say she initiated the whole affair.

Shut up.. Bro d pikin wen go Bleep your wife never come life

Ooni of ife is a chief priest... And not a king

The Oduduwa history was created by ajayi Crowther and then revised by Samuel Johnson to unite the Yoruba people

The oba benin decided to be under the political umbrella of yorubas after amalgamation for political benefit and the history of Oduduwa coming to benin was coined from imagination

The oba of benin historically had nothing to do with ife until 1920

I have read benin history to an extent of understanding, and thankGod benin history was writing down by European that was only gift the Europeans could have given the benins to for their hospitality... To them...

Benins didnt just invade any territories without
Importance to that area the ika land was believed to have the native white chalk in abundance, and in other to control such vital resources, ika areas had to be occupied by force by the benins,

When benin conquers a territory they only sends down military commanders and few traders who were mainly chiefs, their wives and children were forbidden to go with them, to this new territories, these benin nobles occupying this new territories takes upon new wife's in the conquered territories and have children and the children and their mothers would be left behind if he returns back to benin,...

So to say, the ikas were original igbos, who later were mixed with benins, any benin man who is saying ikas were originally benin is egoistic and deluded, i am benin myself.... Even the esans were not originally benins, but were invaded by we benins and a full mass migration happened from benin to esan at a time that made them edo like...

Being ethnically Igbo is one thing, being able to speak Igbo is another thing.

I’m shocked that some of our brothers from the east are pretending to be unaware of this difference.

The data is simply about the ethnicity, not about the ability to speak the language.

Whether you (can) speak Igbo or not, you are Igbo if you are Igbo.

Stop the childish excuses. You’re not that much in ‘the abroad’. Simple as A-B-C.

Family / Re: He Came Back To Apologize With 10,000 After 15years by gregyboy(m): 9:41pm On Nov 09, 2021
officialmario:
Good Morning Fellow Nairalanders
This story I want to share here is a true life story about my family
It happened that my father retired at the Nigerian Brewery PLC in Ibadan in the year 2005.
After his retirement we expected him to set up a small scale business, but knowing that he has another plan in mind.
I had just finished my secondary school when he retired,we are just four and I am the third born,. On the 10th of October my father travelled to United kingdom (UK), without telling anyone about it, it was when he got to the UK that one of his friend came to pass the news to us, it came as a shock to the whole family, the most painful part of it is that he went with his concubine who had giving birth to four children and divorce her husband, and they did court wedding in Lagos,
To cut the whole story short, life is not that easy for us as we had to look for means to survive, my mother is just a petty trader who earns little, I had to pick up a phone call business and I was earning 3k per month.
Life really went too rough for us but thank God we are able to survive..
My father came back last year from London, and it was with surprise because nobody was informed about his coming.
When he got to Nigeria, he had to stay in her younger sisters house in ondo state, so he fixed a day for get together, it was at the get together that he apologized and gave my mum 10k just to forget about what has happened in the past, he has not been sending any support to her right since he travelled

I have an advice and a question to ask on nairaland
Firstly, the advice goes to the ladies, Please and please, don't ever rely on any man to survive, always try as much as possible to work hard and never be a burden to any man, even if your husband ask you not to work, try and find a better business to do because you never can tell what tomorrow will bring..
The second is just a question, if you happens to be in my mother's shoe,Do you expect her to forgive such a man and then accept the 10k gift he offered without any other benefits?

I blame your mom for not having something doing when your dad married her and after you dad left she ended up as a petty trader...

She is the one to be blame for you all misfortune your father got his own blame tho, but he definitely left you guys to take care of his other children he had from his second wife

Just imagine your dad died and not that he left what would be your mom excuse for you guys suffering

I blame your mom, not your dad....

Nigerian women belive the dick should always shoulder them
Family / Re: My Uncle Is In A State Of Dilemma. by gregyboy(m): 10:49am On Nov 08, 2021
Sonnobax15:
Yesterday being Sunday, so I went to a match viewing center to watch the football game between tottenham hotspur and Everton... After the first half came to an end, an argument arose between an old man and a young man..The argument was all about the merits and ills of polygamy.. The old man's opined that a man who's married to many wives will have lesser marital Problems than a man who's married to one wife..

While the young man was of a counter opinion, insisting on the fact that a man who has only one wife will always have his peace of mind intact cheesy

Well, I was just sitting aloof, sipping my black fearless small small cheesy. ...But then I thought about a similar scenario happening to my uncle who has only one wife... Their marriage has been blessed with five sons, and of course my uncle is a very well-to-do man...And out of their five sons, three of them studied abroad...

So after my uncle's retirement from the oil company he was working,he sat his wife down and had a discourse with her that he'd love to sell his port harcourt duplex so that he can use the money to build a house in his village here in Delta state...But his wife refused, insisting that everything that my uncle has worked hard to achieve belongs to her son's,that my uncle Shouldn't even dare think of selling anything....That has resulted to a serious pandemonium in their home..And of which my uncle has threatened to divorce her..But his wife has kept on threatening my uncle that she'd wreck my uncle if he should dare divorce her grin.

The wahala has even deteriorated from bad to worse to the extent that their sons has taken sides with their mom..... One time self, they all ganged up and beat their father undecided.

My uncle has filed papers to a customary court,to divorce the marriage, because all the previous efforts he had made to take his bride price from his in-laws have proved abortive as they have been dribbling my uncle undecided. He has vowed to sell everything, his shopping mall, his hostels, his other two storey buildings.....I even heard him complaining to my popsman that his wife has started to sell his cars and other things he left in his house..... Imagine someone who has different storey buildings now has to be a tenant in a two-bedroom apartment..

At this moment,my uncle has been plunged into a state of so much regrets, that if he had heeded to the advice of his kinsmen back then when they were advising him to marry a second wife, this wouldn't be happening to him angry.

cool

Guy your story doesn't add up,

Because of one building to be replaced in the village na e cause quarrel for family

All ijaws are useless they have no lands to call thier own always residing close to the rivers of other people land, areas that the indigenes of the land wouldn't want to reside.

Why would anyone settle close to the river when they have lands if not they came to that areas, and the real indigenes of the place have occupied all the lands, the fulanis today are settling in the forest in the south and years to come just like the ijaws they would claim indigenes of the southern forest

The white people describe the ijo people as man eaters in the year 1827, if not Nigeria this idiot called ijaws would still be eating humans as meat

They are claiming edo lands using the fake historical narrative of ile ife, that was made up by the oba of benin and ooni of ife during the indirect rule system to unite both tribe for political benefit, seems they dont know the narrative is fake and they already look foolish

You lots have luck am not the governor of my dear edo state i would have silence you lot you will have no choice than to run to bayelsa to resettle

The more you keep forcing the false yoruba/benin relationship, the more the truth becomes more known , tao11 is going out to dig something you all can masturbate on, as always she will come back hopeless and become a mere troller when she runs out of lies, you can't shove lies into our throat and expect us to swallow it, of what benefit is it to we edos if yorubas are attaching their history to us, but it is of outmost benefit to the yorubas attaching their weak history to we benins to solidify theirs, they aren't even aiming like other tribe as a benin sons rather their claiming
Benin father, thieves..... With guns in a broad day light

If we benins attached our history to the Yorubas in early times it was because it was beneficial and mutual now the yoruba are becoming parasitic to our history and we are showing then the road home if they have forgotten...

Oba of benin a, yoruba son my foot, angry angry oba of benin have a greater chance of being igbo than Yoruba

Benin only came incontact with ife throughout history after 1920,anything beyond that are mere fairy-tales

Family / Re: I Just Discovered My Wife's Past, How She Lived Her Life While On Campus by gregyboy(m): 8:51am On Oct 27, 2021
LiegeMan:
hello nairalanders,

sorry to disturb your peace but this has been going on in my mind for long and I really need suggestions on how to overcome it. I gave in to ire/anger and it's gradually taking the best part of me since I made a little discovery about my wife's past and how she lived her life while in the campus. I will try and make it as snappy as possible in order not to make you spend much of your time on my case.

Now, it goes this way, my wife came from a middle class family and she attended one of the best and prestigious higher institutions in the country, they're not too rich and they're not poor, infact, their family name can't be in the same sentence with poverty. She had everything she needed and lived her life to the fullest while in the campus, she flirted with and dated the best guys in the campus, she visited many night clubs and other exuberant and flamboyant life style that pertains to the campus.

Now on my own part, I attended one of the Colleges of Education that littered our country,
I did everything all by myself, I sponsored myself throughout my stay in the college, I did all manner of odd jobs to survive, sometimes, I would miss lectures due to lack of cash, no one to assist, all these limitations made me not to pay attention towards the opposite sex as I was busy struggling to survive and hoping unto God for a miracle.

Right now, all I am feeling is anger, ire, all I want now is vengeance knowing fully well that while I was suffering and struggling to survive, fasting without praying, carrying bricks and block from one floor to the other, jumping from one market to the other hawking my wares, that my wife was busy somewhere enjoying and partying away her future, right now, I want to have my revenge, I want to live those life that I wasn't opportune to live, I want to flirt and have fun with many ladies both young and old, I want to visit as many night clubs as possible now that money is flowing in, I careless about the consequences and how she may feel, these are exactly what I'm feeling now.

this can't keep troubling me that's why I brought it here for suggestions and elderly advice.

Rocktation farano lalasticlala Seun

I concor to this, op the only way you can get free from such anger his to do the said above

Most ladies enjoy their life to the fullest at a younger age only till when marriages put a stop to it, and most guys start life properly i mean flex life at 30, when the money start coming in while a lady start at the age of 10yrs or lesser

Start flirting bro, but nor follow me drag my woman i go vex for that one... Take from other ladies around, more pussies to you bro on your sugar daddy's quest

IDENNAA:

As a Bini man I don't expect anything different from the response you gave.

Now , to reality: politically, of course Ooni must wield more influence because of population of people who pay homage to him and powerful influential Yoruba nation.

I lived in Bini for over 5yrs on Idehen street off Ohoro road and I am in tune with Bini culture and sentiments. And what I is that you fear your Oba! You do love him but there is a big side of Bini consciousness that fears the Oba. I don't think its a healthy relationship between Oba and his subjects.

As for Ooni, he is loved by all , even me like the Ooni because he commands excellence, of course , after the elegant Agbogidi Achebe.

The oba of benin is the first political head a child knows in benin before he knows what is called government

The ooni of ife is a mere chief priest of a populous tribe in Nigeria nothing more

The oba of benin is a class ahead of other kings in africa
