"The forcible shutdown of the legislature was an unconscionable assault on a national institution, and thanks to all your efforts, the aggressors have been put to shame. The resistance mounted by staff of the National Assembly..."-SP, @bukolasaraki #WorldPressConference Hollow words from a man who wouldn't honor a mere invitation by the police. seunmsg: Dele Momodu should shut up and stop doing laundry business for Saraki at his age. Nigeria is a country of law and order. If Saraki or any of the defectors run foul of the law, they will be dealt with in accordance with the law. If Orji Uzo Kalu, Buhari's number one supporter in the south east can still be facing corruption charges in court without presidential interference, Momodu should not come here and tell us nonsense. He just narrated why Nigeria is messed up. Did Buhari stop anyone from defecting? If a politician is found to have committed a crime the law must take its course regardless of whether he defected to another party or not. If the president himself should commit any crime against Nigerians the law must patiently wait for him till his immunity is over. |

Tedpgrass: I just don't get it with 9ja politics presently..
Is it a case of desperation to win 2019? .. Where the present people in power keep getting involving in meaningless pursuits which only lead to more ineptitude and loss of face in the public gallery whilst wasting more public funds and human hours!!!
IMHO, Saraki gets the good publicity of being the truthful child being made to look like an errant teenager as these allegations though long drawn through the courts of law, resulting in unnecessary expenses, have been nullified at the feet of different bodies-- DPP
There are more pertinent issues for IGP to sort out...
1) The destruction of life, cattle and livelihood in the middle belt Extension of which is now apparent in Zamfara 2) Displaying a credible police force that treats it's members right-- paid up salaries and other emoluments, appropriate training and self-development with adequate welfare packages.
If he wants drama, then consider the following, which are actually under his jurisdiction
The fraud allegations against some of Buhari's henchmen in Dubai. Or better still investigate the "Adeosungate" - certificate mess To mention a few...
Not being a toothless Rottweiler that gives a headache whenever it barks!!
I remain solitary, not given to any political party/ machinery... So I'm just an observer, not any organization's mouthpiece!
But its distressing watching the political games being played on a daily basis, the name-calling, hounding of opponents when many lives are at risk... More so when the APC broom is yet to clean its house properly of thieves, sycophants and obscurities.
Charity begins at home, no be so
Simply distressing!!
God bless Nigeria!!
Buhari unwittingly is making Saraki, a hero in the public gallery-- a modern day Robin Hood!!!
Now this maybe the game plan...
What do I know, let's carry on watching Now where is the popcorn and soda??
. Whataboutism is the name given to the Soviet's tactics of diversion whenever they want to avoid facing or dealing a particular subject. This is about Ofa robbery and nothing else. |

krendo: Exactly this modus operandi is very wrong, just because this is what the police does to those who can’t afford SANs does not mean I will endorse this bad behaviour from the police
Let the police go and get serious and investigate the matter with seriousness it deserves
Our police is so incompetent The only one stalling here is Saraki. Be a good citizen, lead by example as the number one lawmaker and respect the law. The police will not beat you up as they would guestlander in the same circumstances. That is not so hard. |
Politics › Re: US Ambassador Speaks On Buhari, His Experience In Nigeria by Guestlander: 3:37pm On Jul 29, 2018 |
Optional09: You need to shut up! Who are you to decide for Nigerians who is good as a president and who is not.
We Nigerians want to have a country like the United States where there is good healthcare system, good infrastructures, reduced mortality rate in all ages, welfare for the poor, fare and just judicial system, safe community where you can build a house without burglary, 24/7 electricity, clean water for all.
We Nigerians know Buhari is bad for us , even if he’s there for 100years he would not achieved any of this things I have mentionsed for Nigerians. So, you should be quiet and let Nigerians decide who is going to take them to the promise land. If he had said something negative about him you would have shouted to high heavens how the U.S (not the ambassador) condemned mr. President. |
Politics › Re: Saraki Assembles Sans To Battle Police Over Invitation by Guestlander: 3:22pm On Jul 29, 2018 |
krendo: The DPP can not pronounce anyone guilty or not guilty. Neither can the police. Only the court can pronounce anyone guilty
The constitution however guarantees all of our innocence until proven guilty
The DPP only told the police that they have been unable to establish a nexus between the case and Saraki
Saraki has a right to his freedom and the police can’t keep disrupting the man’s freedom for nothing. The police should go to court if they have evidence and leave Saraki alone
I actually think IGP Idris is the number suspect in that Offa robbery. The IGP is acting like he staged the crime scene in order to taint Saraki Saraki is just another citizen like you. If you are suspected of killing someone tomorrow don't try to respond to police invitation with a letter. (They will find you and beat the crap out of you first) Every Nigerian is busy, those who were brutally murdered were going about their daily activities too. Saraki has not been pronounced guilty of anything, just answer police invitation, is that so hard? |
Politics › Re: Saraki Assembles Sans To Battle Police Over Invitation by Guestlander: 3:11pm On Jul 29, 2018 |
krendo: The police investigates and pass their info to the department of public prosecution and the director of that department has seen that the police has no evidence and are wasting everyone time with the Saraki link and playing nasty politics Still, the Director of public prosecution cannot stop a police investigation. Even a decade old case can be reopened not to talk about one that is still being Investigated. It is travesty of justice to pronounce anyone not guilty when the case is not even tried yet. |

omoranmilowo: . Yes he needs it. Why? Because of defection, Buhari want to use all means to frustrate him in order for APC to retain their position. And we all know that apc has failed Nigerians. This is not because of any defection. A crime was committed and needs to be investigated, period. Saraki alone cannot make party. |
Politics › Re: Saraki Assembles Sans To Battle Police Over Invitation by Guestlander: 3:04pm On Jul 29, 2018 |
krendo: Quite terrible and childish
The whole thing makes no sense
Saraki was born with a silver spoon, educated in London, practiced medicine in London, came back to Naija joined business and politics and has become Governor, Senator and Senate President
In 2003 Saraki was worth 23 million USD
And currently has access to NASS budget
Why on earth will he stoop so low to a bloody bank robbery?
IGP Idris is both foolish and childish! The man is not clever at all! Well, it makes no sense really and that is why the police must get to the bottom of it. 31 innocent Nigerians were brutally cut down. If just one of them was as privileged as Saraki, the whole country would have been thrown into crisis. |

krendo: The police are not being honest in this matter
The Director of Public Prosecution has written a report to the police saying Saraki has nothing to do with this matter
The AGF has done the same
IGP Idris is being his very corrupt self and dragging this matter into politics!
Saraki has already given a statement saying he is not involved! If the police feel they have superior evidence they should go and present their case in court! Who Investigated the case? The director of public prosecution or the police? |
Politics › Re: The NPF Is Acting Strange In Ofa Robbery Investigation by Guestlander: 2:54pm On Jul 29, 2018 |
What are they doing in Abuja? If a prime suspect is in Abuja or Kafanchan, nothing prevents the police from going there. The media circus is the creation of the Senate president with his letters to the police. Who responds to police invitations with letters? Under normal circumstances he should be arrested without any further notice. |
