laudate:Let's leave Onitsha out of this please. |
baby124:What you wrote is pure Yoruba revisionism. Don't just swallow whatever new generation lies given to you without listening to other views - that has been the major problem of Yoruba Osun parasites. Let me hint you a bit: Do you know that about 50 percent of the people you presently refer to as Yoruba in SW now were never known as Yoruba and never had any ethnic link with the Yorubas until recently? Do you know that those people had their own distinct language, culture, etc, completely different from the core Yorubas? Look at the physical attributes of the present day Yorubas, do you notice any thing that is not common with other homogeneous ethnic groups like the Hausas, Fulanis, Ijaws etc? What happened? What does that possibly tell you? |
Gotze1:Your comment shows you don't know geography at all. Get hold of a map, study it very well and come and tell us that the only way to enter Lagos is from those places you mentioned. |
Well, I can't say I'm surprised. We've been telling Yoruba parasites from Osun State and other places that they should steer clear from Lagos but they thought we're joking or just talking to make argument. We all know what happened in Lagos state: while the real indigenes decided to be quiet about this whole issue to allow Lagos develop from contributions from everyone, those parasites invaded Lagos, tried to erode the true history of Lagos and cunningly assimilate the indigenes under "one Yoruba" tag. I told them that a plan is currently underway to protect Lagos state from those Yoruba parasites. The real owners are beginning to speak up. |
AdesegunSanni89:I'm not a tribalist Bro, I'm a patriot, and I thought we're just commenting on important national issues. ![]() AdesegunSanni89: |
AdesegunSanni89:Have you ever wondered why Obj seemed to have favored the Igbos more when he was the President? Check this out: http://saharareporters.com/2007/06/18/obasanjos-real-father-paternity-controversy

Onijagidijagan:I knew one of you'd definitely bring in Igbos in this. Why are you people like this? Yorubas have their kings and representatives in other places apart from the SW but when it comes to SW, you guys will start displaying insecurities. |
jacyhelen:Good, then let people who want to vote exercise their right. At the end of the day, if someone who's worse than Obiano is imposed on Anambra because people didn't vote, will that be preferable to you? |
Op stop this rubbish propaganda. You should be able to reason, at least averagely,, without much difficulty. So you don't care who becomes Anambra state Governor? You want people to stay back and watch someone imposed on them, then you'd start blaming Buhari later on? |
What rethorics will APC base their election campaign on come 2019? The Chibok Girls scam has been busted as fake and orchestrated by some political elements. Boko Haram still continues to pose serious problem. No serious infrastructure on ground in the country by the Government. The herdsmen carry out their ethnic cleaning unabated. Extra-Judicial killings and targeting of certain region of people in the country. The list is endless. Nigeria has never been this divided as a nation since after the civil war. Maybe they'll tell us that they've discovered the elixir of life during the campaigns. |

MaziOmenuko:MaziOmenuko? I expected much more from you than the insults you threw at my person; especially, when you don't know my state and considering the fact that what I stated is arguably the truth. Take it easy my brother, a lot of us are not happy with the situation of Abia State, given the inherent potentials of the State. |
Seriously, Abia is becoming a cause for embarrassment to the whole SE. Even Ebonyi is arguably doing better than Abia. The problem with Abia is tribalism and stupidity; voting in an obvious incompetent person rather than well qualified and competent candidates simply because he's from a particular part of Abia. Shame. |
Jaideyone:In as much as you were not the person I referred to in my quote, I'll give you a few pointers : When a people is not very honest with their history, there's bound to be disaffection within them. Here's what the Olugbo of Ugbo, Oba Obateru said here : http://wakaaboutafrica.com/2017/01/04/feuding-facts-fiction-royal-ancestry/ He insisted that Oduduwa was not the founder of the Yorubas. Now, you don't have to dismiss his postulation with a wave of hand, because it is very certain that when Oduduwa came ( where he came from is debatable) , he met some people there. People were already on ground there. Now the questions are : Who were those people? Were they Yorubas? If they were Yorubas, why do some of the present Yorubas posit that Oduduwa was the progenitor of the Yorubas? Now check this out : The title of the ruler is ' Olugbo of Ugbo '. Olugbo is clearly an ethnic Igbo word. It even has the 'Olulo Udaume ' that is consistent and common in the Igbo language Structure. The 'Ugbo ' itself is also an Igbo word. All these are not by chance. Also, Abeokuta which is a place presently in Sw is indisputably Igbo word. Abeokuta simply means 'ebe okute,ie, place of stone. I'm very much aware that the Yorubas have a similar word for translated to stone. Ask yourself this: why such similarity? Does it mean the Igbos in far away east adopted that word in their language from the Yorubas from antiquity? Or what? You also have to take into account the story of Moremi of Yoruba history. Who were the people Moremi manipulated? There's another thing: If you objectively and carefully observe the physical appearance of the present day Yorubas, you'd see a very marked inconsistence in their physical characteristics. Certain Yorubas from certain parts of Sw have more closer resemblance with the Igbos than the normal 'Yoruba characteristics'. What does 'Ile ife' mean in Yoruba language? The Internet is plentiful with rich sources were you can get the true account of Histories, if you know where to look with an open mind. How do you think that the Yorubas came about the 'Igbo ' word in their language? I leave you to research. |
igbodefender:My brother, you just wasted your precious time responding to that chronic ignorant Igbo hater. Even if you teleport him back to Ile Ife of those days, his hatred would never allow him to be objective. |
Danladi7:Guy leave Igbos out of your misfortunes. |
I expect the Op of this thread here: https://www.nairaland.com/4153924/yorubas-under-attack#62038558 and some other suspicious characters there to start screaming 'Yorubas are under attack! ' Where's the evidence linking this woman to the crime? ' 'Those clothes in her possession, do you know if she does laundry for them?' All these while ritualist dens proliferate everywhere. Smh. |

I will still give Nigeria another opportunity to redeem itself. If Buhari wins second term, then I'll officially know there's no hope for Nigeria. What sort of embarrassing lies are these? How can a government dish out these gut-wrenching lies constantly without due consideration of the masses? Tufiakwa! |
Op, your obsession with anything Igbo is becoming embarrassing even to your kinsmen. You need to do a serious soul-searching. Maybe it's because right deep inside you, you secretly admire Igbos and wish you were Igbo. |
Op the points you made are noteworthy, but watch APC clinch Anambra State when Anambarians insist on the archaic strategy of not coming out to vote. |
Gush! I can't believe Igbos are falling for this cheap trick. This message circulating round was perfectly contrived so that there will be low turn out, thereby enabling them to manipulate the election. Anambarians! This is the right time to come out en masse and vote, and protect your votes. |
Benue state voted for Buhari, right? Well, make I no talk wetin dey my mind. |
Op, Lagos is up grabs by any political party, ethnic group or individual that is up to the task. It is a no-man's - land. If you like whine about the Igbos from now till yesterday, it won't change nothing. |
Alariiwo:Guy you just dey embarrass yourself all over the thread. Shame no dey catch you at all? |
