bakynes:Does this your jaundiced narrative in anyway tally with what Oba Akiolu said here? http://dailypost.ng/2017/05/03/lagos-not-belong-yorubas-oba-akiolu/ Like I told another Osun dumbo, you've so distorted and manipulated your history that to differentiate between your usual hallucinations and your Osun lies is now a problem. If you can just for once, do an independent research about other ethnic groups who have been in Lagos long before you folks started infiltrating it, the once you assimilated as Yoruba just because of politics, the Ijaws, the Eguns, the Benins etc, you'd be forced to use that thing you call a head and reason. Even right now as I type this, I can imagine the number of buses from different parts of the country making their way to the No-man's - land, and the number of individuals from different parts of the country planning to contest in the next governorship election of Lagos State. And guess what? You as an Osun parasite can never do poo about it. |
Michael004:The problem with you guys is that you've so manipulated and distorted your history that even you are confused. What the hell did you post there without any source whatsoever? You simply churned out the same new generation lies your people have been touting everywhere. You'll say one thing today depending on the political situation of your region, tomorrow, you'll say another. Was Oba Akiolu an Igbo man when he said here that Lagos does not belong to Yorubas? http://dailypost.ng/2017/05/03/lagos-not-belong-yorubas-oba-akiolu/ Ijaws have been living in Lagos for ages. That they don't make noise about it does not mean parasites from Osun will deny that and claim ownership of Lagos. http://www.ijawworldstudies.com/author/iwsadmin/ Even some of the names of places in present Lagos State now are Ijaw names; but of course, I expect you to conveniently dismiss that or offer your usual Osun version. How about even the Eguns that have vehemently denied Yorubas? Or you'd also deny their Lagos heritage? The fact that Lagos not Abuja or Osun or Oyo is being debated should have told a reasonable person something. |
Michael004:If you like use all the swear words in book, it won't in anyway prevent buses from conveying hundreds of people from different parts of the country to Lagos State tomorrow; rather, you'd only end up displaying your insecurity and crudeness that is so typical of parasites like you from Osun State. Time has gone when you guys keep on dishing out propaganda all over the country and brainwashing yourselves. If you say Lagos belongs to the Yorubas, where is your proof? Provide it or go back to your normal tantrums. |
Op do you know that you've ended making no sense other than to showcase your obsession on the Igbos? What is your proof that the Aworis were the first settlers in Lagos State apart from the conjured history from parasites like you from nearby states to Lagos? Lagos is undeniably owned by the Benins and the foreigners if you're even to reason the rightful owners. Have you ever seen or heard non-Yorubas arguing over the ownership of Osun, Oyo etc apart from Kwara that was conquered? leave Igbos out of this; when it's time, the real owners of Lagos will speak up and down the parasitic noisemakers like you. |
Michael004:Didn't an Igbo contest in the last Lagos governorship election? What are you guys even talking about? About the kingship of Lagos state, is the traditional ruler of Kwara State a Yoruba man? Lagos doesn't belong to any particular tribe no matter how you look at it. What makes Lagos State a Yoruba land? Can you answer that and also tell me what happens to all the indigenous Ijaws, Hausas, Benins etc that have been living in Lagos since time immemorial? |
Michael004:Your insecurity is self-inflicted. It is evident from your disjointed ramblings up there. How is Lagos a Yoruba land, and you're up there pooing all over the place. Even the mere fact that we're here debating this particular issue doesn't teach your coconut head a few lessons. Let me see how far your coconut head has been blocked: How many traditional rulers of Lagos were actually from Lagos State? Well, I know I just wasted my time with that question because you'd be incapable of such simple reasoning. Whenever Lagos State is mentioned, parasites like you from Osun State and the rest of them will start foaming in the mouth and screaming 'Igbo'! everywhere. |
bakynes:You listed all these places in Lagos bearing Yoruba names but conveniently ignored the places that have non-Yoruba names. So it doesn't mean anything at all. If you're to say the real owners of Lagos, Yorubas would come like a distant 3rd just like other ethnic groups that came to Lagos after it was established by the Benin and foreigners. Yorubas from other states simply took the opportunity of proximity to Lagos and infiltrated the place. These are verifiable facts on ground, if you want to search for it devoid of mischief that you're so prone to. Lagos has indigenous Ijaws, Fulanis, Benins, Igbos and the rest of them who have been living there since Human inhabitation in Lagos. So what exactly makes Lagos solely Yoruba's? By the way, you can insult and castigate all you want ( at most, I'll click the report button and report your unlearned insolent as.s) , but it won't change a thing about the status of Lagos. it won't stop busses conveying hundreds of people from all over the country to Lagos State every day. Neither would it prevent non-Yorubas from contesting elective positions in Lagos. |
Op, you're talking about two very different things here; Ilorin used to be a purely Yoruba town, but definitely not Lagos. That Lagos happens to be in SW geographically, doesn't in any mean that it belongs to the Yorubas. Why don't you go ahead and narrate to us hot Lagos came to belong to Yorubas? Were Yorubas the first to have a king in Lagos? No. Was Lagos part of the old Oyo empire? No. Is 'Lagos' a Yoruba name? No. No matter how much you shout it, Lagos will still be known by everyone as a no-man's-land. |
Just when you think the Southerners are beginning to get their acts together, you'll see one efulefu creating a useless topic to further reassure their masters up north. |
It's quite unfortunate that we are citizens of a nation that mainly doesn't give a rat's ass about the welfare of her citizens. What sort of useless government is this? The worst is that the 'big men' in the country won't speak up against this bill, not minding the future effects of the bill, since they can easily bribe their way through. This bill simply another way to stiffle the voice of the common man; to prevent the masses from speaking up against the government. With this bill, you can't form a pressure group that can effectively question the actions of the government. It will be a big shame on Nigeria if this bill sails through. |
achi4u:I'd like to get your perspective since you're from Ebonyi State and run business there. What aspects do you think that David Umahi has not performed comparatively better than his counterparts in other states? Do share with us please. |
dokiOloye:I advice you to withdraw your statement if you've not yet been to Ebonyi state in recent time. Forget about what opposition is saying and visit Ebonyi state and see things for yourself. This man, Dave Umahi is really transforming Ebonyi state positively. And I'm talking about all parts of Ebonyi State. He's presently laying water pipes across the state to ensure that each home in the state has access to clean water supply. There are several empowerment programmes by the state government targeted for the youths, the retired, the unemployed and business people. Recently, just to mention one instance, Ebonyi state Youths were given 250000 naira to kick-start small scale businesses. Mind you, Ebonyi state receives one of the smallest allocation in the country. Guy just visit Ebonyi state. |
Chukazu:Abraham mother of Isaac! He tried to reduce! He didn't reduce it! They're two different things. He proposed to reduce by some certain percentage. And by the way, if you're conversant with Ebonyi state politics, you'd know that the previous government in Ebonyi State increased salaries of workers arbitrarily some few months before he left the office, probably to spite the next incoming government. These are just politics that if the NLC had taken time to do their due diligence, they wouldn't have been further reducing their relevance by including Ebonyi state in the above. |
Childofaking:Who told you he's owing workers? Did the NLC say that he's owing salaries? The way and manner you guys swallow everything you read, and twist and criticise everything is appalling. |
FactualSpeech:Refer to my reply to Chukazu, and maybe pay a visit to Ebonyi state and see things for yourself. |
Chukazu:This is what was said of Ebonyi State: Ebonyi, unilaterally, without discussion with the union tried to reduce the salaries by certain percentage and have also not made available records of utilisation of the Paris Club refund. Where was it stated that Ebonyi State government misappropriated the fund? And mind you, it says that Ebonyi 'tried to reduce' not 'reduced 'the salaries by certain percentage... When I hail that man as one of the best governors in the county, I'm not just talking about projects and infrastructure, I refer to payment of salaries as at when due, several empowerment programmes currently ongoing in the state, etc. I insist those NLC guys didnt do their homework well by actually visiting state and getting first-hand perspective of what is going on there. By the way, Ebonyi state government is currently laying water pipes across in the state. The target is for every home to have access to portable water . |
A little trip to Ebonyi state should make them realize how stupid they by including Ebonyi state. Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, is about the best performing governor currently in the country. |
Another divisive and useless thread.
Why Igbo lagosians?
How about Hausa Lagosians or Fulani Lagosians?
Or you think they don't have interest in governing Lagos State?
Why can't you let the Igbos ve and go about their normal businesses? Eeh?
If they tell you that you're obsessed with them, you'll start convulsing now. .. |
Ereolamide:You get serious issues o. Anybody who claims to be Igbo will say trash online, and you'll just dive right into it and start convulsing. Guy think! |
What is even wrong with these guys? What sort of twisted logic is this? Nnamdi Kanu has outsmarted Buhari by abandoning his comrades in detention while accepting bail from the same government he so despises? By running away while leaving his ignorant foot soldiers behind to be prosecuted by the same government he abhors and calls indescribable names? By attacking military formations and northerners in the south east without considering the reprisals that might occur against thousands of Igbos in the North? What sort of useless smartness is that? I keep on wandering who bewitched the Igbos... This is not the same Igbo race that made their marks in the sands of time before. |
PointZerom:You deserve a very big resounding knock on that thing you call a head for this useless comment you made. |
ok |
Ucheosefoh:You really don't care if you have a bad government in your state? Hmmm... You see, this is exactly what reasonable Igbos and other Nigerians have been saying. Why can't Nnamdi Kanu use his influence to agitate for good governance in the South East? Why can't he demand for accountability and responsibility from the state governments? Rather he's going around formenting chaos everywhere. You might feel that IPOB is really fighting for the interest of Igbos, but we know better. Remember the then Bakassi group in Aba some few years back? you recall how they started killing their perceived enemies and how they were used by some elements to carry out their indiscriminate nefarious acts? If you don't care about good governance in your state, and probably prefer chaos and acrimony, there are other millions of Igbos who desire peace, good governance, and prefer harmonious round-table negotiations. |
BiafraIShere:I laugh when you say they've killed their political careers. In this country? And especially in the SE? Let me tell you: come another election, the same elements who voted in T.A Orji twice, who voted in Rochas, will gather en mass and vote for Ikpeazu. By that time, it will turn to Ngwa vs Umuahia, no more about the general welfare of the Igbos. If you want to relinquish the little mandate you have in Anambra, one of the few viable states in the SE, then boycott the election. Simple. |
Ucheosefoh:Boycott the election and watch an APC candidate declared the winner. Even the little power you have to decide who will govern your state, you want to give that one away too ? Why do some Igbos like short-changing themselves? |
Atimes I wonder who bewitched the Igbos. What is happening now was analysed and predicted by people long before now when they saw the direction Nnamdi Kanu and his group were going. We told them that their actions might lead to military intervention in the east, but as usual, they claimed to know it all. How can you inaugurate BSS, and the rest of them, and while still a citizen of Nigeria, denigrate the country and pledge your loyalty to another place? Then what else is treason, political and economic sabotage of the country? No country would tolerate that. Not even the USA. And you expected the FG to fold their hands and watch them grow out of hand. |
IamaNigerianGuy:Twisted logic. |
Again? Maybe the whole of South West should be recolonized.
|
OP, how do I contact you?
I've got business proposition for you. |
sweatlana:You be pure Mu*mu. So the Igbo boys take the Abokis in lying classes according to your chaff reasoning? As if an adult Northerner cannot differentiate between wrong and right. |
