Op, the decision of what to do is in your hands.
Whether you call it demonic possession or ET possession, it's a matter if semantics and either by Church or by cosmic science route, you can have your deliverance.

But you've been to some churches before concerning this, right?
Ask yourself how worse it can get.
Then make a decision.
let me tell you that most things work according to your belief.

EducationRe: UNIBEN PG Students' Ordeal by Habakus: 8:14pm On Jul 20, 2017
frankly speaking Op, there are schools with worse payment systems.
ABSU for instance demands about 50k just for acceptance fee into PG programs.
You can imagine the total amount you'd be required to pay before you get your certificate.
The fact is that the educational system in Nigeria is very deplorable with lack if funding and corruption topping the list.
It's a reflection of the general ills in thr country.
For now, if you can, run your PG program in s university in the country and if you can not, get the hell out of the system and school somewhere else outside the country. when you come back and still meet the status quo, you do your best to effect change.
PoliticsRe: What Will Happen If There Is No Election In Anambra State by Habakus: 11:38am On Jul 20, 2017
if after all these warnings Anambra people still allow themselves to be manipulated by boycotting the election, then they deserve exactly what they will get.
Atimes I wonder who bewitched the Igbos.
They call the country a zoo, and still expect the country to treat them fairly and with regards to the constitution in event that they boycott the election.
well, we're all watching. I know many people will change nairaland moniker while Anambra becomes the laughing stock of others.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Has 6 More Years To Spend In Power - Okorocha by Habakus: 10:54am On Jan 31, 2017
If he likes, let him stay there as president forever, what I know is that before 2019,a lot of his supporters now will turn to his greatest adversaries as it is already happening. If they want to turn this country to hell-hole,good for them, but we'll be here to counter their lies and blame shifting when the time comes.
PoliticsRe: National Protest: Organizers Release Timetable For February 5th Protest by Habakus: 10:35am On Jan 31, 2017
Personally,I'm not in support of this protest. What does it aim to achieve?
Will it make Buhari to sit up,when already he has no clue as to how to better this country? Buhari is just like rubber stamp - he only does what his cabals want him to do,and those cabals have other agenda not in the in interest of Nigerians.
The country is practically on autopilot.
When next election comes, people will shut up and listen to the voice of reason.
PoliticsRe: Checkout The Main Cause Of Free Fall Of Naira To Dollar. by Habakus: 9:27am On Jan 31, 2017
SalamRushdie:
Yes but people erroneously try to absolve Buhari of any blame when in reality he has been the most disasterous leader in our history ..Before he came in 1984 Nigerians didnt know about used cars but in just 20 months he had eroded the middle class and Nigerians will only be avle to afford belgiums used cars for the next 20 something years ..Under OBJ the middle class re emerged and many of us where able to start owning brand new cars once agains and even buy brand new cars for our loved ones but just 18 months into Buharis new govt the middle class has once again been totally eroded and I swear to God there is no salary earner in Nigeria that can afford a brand new toyota which now sells for 21 million naira , note that 18 months ago the same car qas 4.5 million naira .. I was a great Buhari supporter but had to go back and do some research to know why he is not getting it right this time but was shocked to see he didnt get it right then too
So you even supported Buhari during the election and you're here sounding off in the mouth? If so, then you're part of the problem - a large part of it.

And if you want them to buy 2 copies just write about Buhari's burial arrangement or imminent coup to overthrow Buhari, some of them will branch beer palour celebrating. cheesy
You're already rejoicing,aren't you?
They'll be charged to court where it will be determined if they committed any crime or not.
Go ahead and celebrate the arrest not even minding if your tribesman was arrested as well. One day, they'll come for you or your tribesman, and that day you'll start calling us for a mass protest again.

PoliticsRe: True Story Of Nairalander Who Relocated From Lagos To Anambra State by Habakus: 6:26pm On Jan 30, 2017
NewNigeriaMind:
I totally understand your point but you are the one not ready to accept haters, wicked people, tribal bigots exist in all tribes, places and office.

Let me share something happening to me right now. I live in a house with standard flats and BQs. my neighbor who is igbo rented his BQ to a young guy who is a tailor. what if i tell you this tailor guy has never greeted me in the over one year he moved into the house. i have caught him several times looking at me with that " who does he think he is" kind of look. Maybe because i am single and living in a flat alone he is jealous or just pure envy. I have come home several times that this guy will be standing beside the gate and instead of him to open the gate for me, he acts like he is too blind to see my car. will it be ok if i say igbo people are jealous and envious people because the guy is igbo?

Now lets go back to the period after 1970, AFTER THE CIVIL WAR. Do you realize there was no case of abandoned property in the SW. igbos came back to Ibadan, Lagos etc to meet their property and even got their rent paid fully to them while in the SS igbos were not allowed to go near their property again. Google abandoned property after the civil war and show me one single case of igbo property taken over in the SW.

when people say Yoruba people are accommodating, it is not gain saying.
Alright, bad people with all those vices you mentioned exist everywhere, but specifically, hatred, envy and jealousy for other people from other tribes because of their successes in their chosen fields are more common in some particular regions, and that is a fact.
About the instance you gave concerning where you live, you can't solely attribute it to your being from a different tribe from the tailor. It could just be normal unnecessary pomposity that people have for others everywhere in the country.
Yeah,I know there wasn't much recorded cases of abandoned property in the SW post civil war unlike in some other places, and for that I do hail the SW people.
Anyway,I understand your points and I'm sure you understood mine in relation with the topic of this thread.
PoliticsRe: The ONLY "One" Reason Why Buhari Is Failing; Why I Never Voted For Him by Habakus: 6:05pm On Jan 30, 2017
Buhari is not the major problem.
The major problem is people who voted for him against all sound reasons and people who still support him and refuse to believe he has failed. Those people, unfortunately, are very many and would still keep this nation in this current mess.
PoliticsRe: True Story Of Nairalander Who Relocated From Lagos To Anambra State by Habakus: 5:49pm On Jan 30, 2017
NewNigeriaMind:
I don't know anything about carrying placard asking people to leave the SW. Wicked people are everywhere that is my point.

I know an igbo man that deals in merchandises who never employs any other person apart from his igboid people.

What about the hundreds of part sellers littered all over SW that don't support anyone else except the people from their villages. Ordinary sales girl or boy posiiton they will travel all the way to their village to bring someone to work for them.

I can go on and on.

my point is discrimination is not limited to any tribe, least Yoruba of all tribe. There could be exceptions but its not our way of life.

This is why i am ever careful how i group people together and what i say. Go check those businesses they hardly go far.
You're still missing the point here.
The thread is not talking about discrimination in employment which is quite national problem.
When you come to a region not yours, you legitimately rent a shop, start up a business and when you start doing well, you'll see the indigenes start "winching" you and clamoring that you leave their place - that is what I'm talking about. That is pure hatred and envy, especially when they know that you're from a particular tribe.
That is what I tell you you hardly find in the east. in the east,it's live and let live. Can you compete with the people there in your business choice? If yes, then you're very welcome.

NewNigeriaMind:
The first car i got was stolen by two armed robbers from the east. That is a personal experience.

The moral of the story is, there are criminals everywhere and from every tribe and they don't care whether you are igbo, yourba or hausa.

I will advise more igbo people relocate to the SE.
You're right, there are criminals everywhere, but this is not what this thread is all about.
It's about discrimination and hatred because you're from a particular tribe. That is something you'll hardly find in the east. A lot of people from SW and other parts of the country live and function peacefully in the east without any form of discrimination. They're not treated differently than Igbos. You don't see Igbos "winching" them or carrying placards and whining that they should leave the SE.

Now you want everybody to come together and protest? A protest that you should have made earlier during the election by not voting for Buhari.

PoliticsRe: IPOB Take Note: Port Harcourt Is "REBISI" And Not Igwe-ocha by Habakus:
Op,your post is riddled with several false assertions. First of all,Biafra is not an Igbo thing; a lot of ethnic groups who are not Igbos identify with Biafra ( I don't know how many times it will be drummed into your head before you understand this).
Secondly, the issue of who owns portharcourt has been rehearsed here many times. Portharcourt was formally known as Iguocha or ugwuocha ( see: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Harcourt ). Iguocha or Igwuocha is a typical Igbo word no matter how you look at it or twist it. And the area was known as part of Igboland before even before colonization. These are simple facts that are easily verifiable.
Ikwerres speak Igbo language, their names are Igbo, the names of their towns and villages are Igbo, and even the names of the kings you listed above are mainly Igbos. So what else are you saying?
The highest form of deceit is self deception.
