mrNEMZY:You should be commending the governor. Ebonyi State could be a very volatile state for this virus if it gets into Ebonyi State - and he knows that. This man goes around the state himself, even in the night,to make sure all the regulations are strictly adhered to when he could have been in his house with his family hiding out the virus like some of his counterparts. |
VillagePipu:Ode,carry Igbo for head na like gala. Na u go tire. |
VillagePipu:How you turned this to an "Igbo thing" says a lot about your mental state. |
The level of stu.pidity in this thread is startling. How can someone insinuate that Igbos are attaching themselves to SS because of oil and access to sea? Instead of praising the Igbos for contributing to the economy since Abia and Imo States are oil-producers and Igbos have significant number of indigenes in the SS. So Igbos in Delta,Rivers, Cross river,Akwaibom etc are who? Germans? Smh. |
Sirjamo:This is the most unreasonable comment so far this year. Keep it up bro,you might just win the trophy at the end of the year. |
Osaze007:Boy, your obsession with the Igbos all over the forum is beginning to look very stupid. It doesn't portray you as someone with a functional brain. |
OP,I hope you get to see my comment because it's coming late. Never ever open up to your sister or her former guy the role you played in this whole debacle. I repeat: never ever,at least, not now. If you do,your Sister would never truly forgive you,and would likely find a way to revenge; so the cycle continues. |
This post reeks of cowardice on all fronts. What will cause an anonymous person to come online publicly, throw all sense of dignity to the wind, and as*lick another,if not cowardice. Very very shameful post. *Spits on OP's head* |
Good initiative. This is the kind of projects that shoulders be carried out in the Southeast. Yet again, each time I hear a news like this,I feel so sorry for Abia state. It's just a shame to see a state so full of potentials like Abia get ruined by successive bad governments. |
This is the absolute truth devoid of sentiments. Igbos are highly emotional, sentimental and practical people. Hence, since they already marked Buhari bad,it would take divine intervention for them to key into Buhari and APC's followership. But again, that is not how politics should be played in a country as divergent as Nigeria. Nigeria is about grabbing what you can as long as it lasts, and Igbos should learn how to follow that. If Buhari initially chose Igbos twice or thrice as his running mates for presidential elections in the past, then what is it that Buhari or APC had done that cannot be overlooked for the sake of political gain? Take a look at what the government is currently doing in the southeast: The second Niger bridge, the Enugu-Onitsha road, the renovation of the international airport in Enugu etc. Igbos can get more by playing their politics the right way. |
The kind of politics played in Nigeria today is that of winner takes it all. Nigeria is only interested in crude oil right now,and a little bit Agriculture; and it will continue like that until the aforementioned are exhausted. For those who are aware, the whole of SE is rich in oil,gas and solid minerals in commercial quantity. Somewhere in Edda in Ebonyi state was one of the first places that oil was found in commercial quantity in Nigeria. Imo state has one of the highest gas deposits in Africa. Almost the whole of Abakaliki region in Ebonyi state is rich in solid minerals; yet still untapped. Allow the government and Niger Delta to do whatever they want and then plan for the rainy day with your resources. NB: this is not peculiar to you. The north and Sw are doing same. |
Psalmy2cute:This has little or nothing to do with religious affiliation; but more with economic interests. China and Russia have eyes on over taking USA as the economic power,so they may initially sit on the fence now just to goal the USA on,only to come out supporting Iran. |
Reno got this one misplaced. If there's any government that has cut down on excessive and unnecessary spending and expenses, it is this present government. If you check very well, those men that flew those private jets might have acquired their wealth during the time of PDP. All he has to do in this situation is to encourage the government in its effort against corruption and reckless spending; and not painting the government bad completely. |
Your question is rhetorical. But again, winning the war is subjective. A lot of factors come into play in war: Other interested countries like China,Russia, even North Korea might wade in heavily and change the preconceived outcome of the war. The question that is pertinent is this: if there's a full-scale WW3,who stands to lose more: Iran or USA? |
This is good. The Fg has shown a commendable level of commitment in carrying every region along in its developmental strides across the nation with this alone. I advice that Igbos should play a more mature politics by looking beyond superficial ethnic coloration and religious affiliation, as long as they're still part of Nigeria. Kudos Fg. |
imam07:Your point could have been passed across better without the invectives. You threw insults at my person without no direct provocation. What did I do to you to warrant the insults? Have we had any encounter before? This is just a faceless forum; as such, I think I'm entitled to an apology from you. |
All those supporting Trump's action against Iran should have a rethink. What you see America is doing to Iran - sanctions, air strikes and all- would exactly be meted out to any nation that goes against America's imperialist agenda. If a country tries to rise without buttlicking America, then America would most definitely bring the hammer down on it. Check out Libya,Afghanistan, Iraq etc. Who made America the police of the world? Who gave the right to attack any nation without UN's consent or by strong-arming the UN? In USA,the world has a monster in its hands, and it's just a matter of time before monster causes huge damage and self destructs. |
Nice one there. |
Ndibunna:I wanted to give you the benefit of doubt of not assuming that you're a little bit 'off' by asking you that question, but yet, you still proved my initial point about your obsession with NK and Igbos correct. Guy,just stop quoting me please. |
Goes to show that people should be very careful about posting anything on the internet. Make sure you can reasonably take responsibility of your comments here, incase you're called upon to answer for them. |
Ndibunna:What's the connection between NK you've been mentioning since with this Obj's paternity issue? |
Ndibunna:You're clearly obsessed with NK and Igbos, and there's nothing I can do to help you. Continue in your delusion. |
Ndibunna:You have a huge problem. Very big one. Obasanjo's paternity issue has been a thing for debate for many years now, even before the emergence of NK,and there has been no concrete evidence to show that he's of Yoruba paternity, yet you're here screaming NK all over the forum like a deranged dog and assuming anybody who has a contrary view to yours must be Igbo. Now,instead of you to call out the author of the article who's obviously Yoruba, you're here attacking the Igbos who're mere commenters on the thread. You deserve a big knock on your head for your dum.bness. |
femolii:Why is comprehension so difficult for you guys? Why are you now referring to Igbos? Was it an Igbo man that wrote the article? When did I claim that I owned Nigeria in the 60s? I just don't want to call you a drunk this early morning. |
Ndibunna:Oga,leave NK out of this. This particular issue of Obj's paternity has been a thing of controversy for several years now. In fact, check the people who posted this topic; they're Yorubas |
