Fremancipation:Guy please, let's give this man a chance for the sake of our country. I believe if Igbos should play their politics well as it's obtained in other places, there's nothing Igbos can not achieve even under this administration. |
Good one from Buhari... |
Biafran proponents, before you start chanting war songs, have you exhausted all diplomatic and legal channels? How many of your people are in tune with your biafran ideology? Igbos are not the worst off in the ridiculous system of Nigeria today. They've fought before and several lives were lost which they're yet to completely recover from. Have you guys looked in ward to seek a solution for the various problems you complain about? Have you held your governors and other leaders accountable for their responsibilities? Who says the Prospective Biafran states can not develop and reach their full potentials even while still in Nigeria? The world is tough now and the heart of man is desperately wicked. Are you willing to still sacrifice millions to achieve Biafra? To what end? Who will then make your region great? |
I go with Fayose on this |
No doubt the OP has an interesting theory here that should be looked into. Science is still at it's infancy; there are still so many things we still don't know yet as fact and a lot of things we thought to be true are disproved daily. I may not be a 'science head',but I'd like someone to explain how the force of gravity doesn't pull down a very tiny insect that lifts off from the ground and flies at will without any obstruction from gravity. Does it mean that the force the tiny fly uses to fly beats that of gravity? Or is that it is so light just like a balloon that it floats? If a balloon is so light that the force of gravity doesn't act on it,why doesn't it continue to float forever once it gets to the air? Please I need someone to explain all these, and like I said before,I'm not a science head at all. |
bebe2:Do your best and leave the rest for God. Let him handle the worries. Your children need their mum healthy and strong. |
This is beautiful... |
DESNAT:Your problem is lack of wisdom. You lack the ability to reason for yourself without someone spoon-feeding you. You just keep on regurgitating rubbish trite that you've been fed with. Just imagine what you typed up there that corruption is in the blood of every Nigerian... And yet you claim you can use that chaff you call brain to reason. |
Indeed GEJ is a great man - no questions about that. This is how a leader should talk: you motivate your people, speak well of their good deeds and attributes; not castigating and embarrassing them globally by calling them criminals. We have come to realize that fighting of corruption is not by arresting people randomly ( including political enemies) and throwing them in jails; it is by strengthening the right institutions and effecting policies that discourage corruption - hence, the 'goat and yam theory' which on the surface might sound dumb, but is infact,an amazing concept that every serious nation should adopt. I honestly feel that Nigerians were not ready for GEJ's style of leadership which could have propelled us to one of the best nations. |
Definitely a Jewel of Africa... One of the brightest brains out there... Ask yourselves this question: if NOI were still to be in charge of our economy, would things have been as bad as it is now? She has already written her name in Gold never to be erased by the jealous haters back home in Nigeria. |
"...while we commend the presidency for his hard stand against corruption and support all his move to flush corruption out of Nigeria...". Then why are you complaining since you support all his moves? Maybe not probing Amaech is one of his 'moves to flush out corruption out of Nigeria' that you support. |
Won't the DSS arrest Amaechi now??!! |
OP,the title of your thread betrays the level of your reasoning.
And I must say,it's pathetically low. |
Caseless:So you've already concluded that he's guilty? Is that what you were taught in school that an accused in Nigeria is guilty without a court deciding it? Na wa for you o. |
ChessEnthusiast:Guy,this your attitude right there is the attribute of a coward,back-stabber and psychophant. All of a sudden,Tinubu that you hailed when he was dining with the North as the modern day Awolowo never fought for Yoruba interest? You should be thoroughly asha*med of yourself. |
aaronson:Guy abeg stop this kind of bullshi*t... Must you defend every nonsense of this government? This is no longer funny, abeg. |
This article does not address one very key point: if it is within the duties or powers of the DSS to arrest Judges. This should be the main issue because many have argued that the DSS should only be consigned with matters bordering on internal security, not mere corruption issues as I THINK stipulated by the constitution empowering them. Does the DSS have the authority to arrest Judges for corruption issues or is it the duty of the EFCC or the Police? |
Wait a minute, don't tell me you're now blaming the citizens... When you were warned not to vote in somebody who openly declined to participate in debate, someone who bluntly refused to present his certificate, you were calling us SATANOIDS...now you want everybody to share in the blame... It doesn't work like that. Buhari and APC must perform that magic that made you to vote for him despite sound warnings from people. |
We all know how this will end... Media trials, political debates everywhere to distract Nigerians from the Economic situation and at the end,no conviction. Then you arrest more people and start the whole process again. |
Jesusloveyou:Honestly, this thing wey you dey do no fit you at all. |
What an inconsistent government! Tomorrow you'd send troops to the Niger Delta, next tomorrow you'd start considering dialogue. Today, you'll ban the importation of rice;tomorrow, you'd lift the ban... How will a country develop that way? I hope people who voted for this government are seeing the kind of mess they've plunged this nation into... Next time during election, you'd learn how not to bite of your nose to spite your face. |
This is really becoming embarrassing for Yorubas... How in the world did they get themselves in this position yet again? Now the greater Southern regions don't consider them as one of them and the North is hell bent on humiliating them... Hmmm... Typical case of how the conner stone has become the rejected stone. Yorubas should go back to the drawing board, redesign or reidentify the path of their socio-political future ( without leaning on one man or any other group),focus on it. When the time is right, other like-minded group will be drawn to them;not the other way round. |
I knew right from time that the Biography would be riddled with brazen lies. As usual,he will demonize others while portraying himself and his cronies as saints. Instead of me to read that book,I'd rather pick up "The sugar Girl" and read once more. |
chiamaka21:What truth is he saying? So there's no other way to address the issue other than coming to a public forum to disparage the people he calls his brothers? What happened to town hall meetings? What happened to Ndiigbo gatherings? So in your family,if you have an issue with either your brother or your sister, you'll pick megaphone and start announcing it everywhere for people to know? Is that how you do? How many times have you seen a northerner or other ethnic groups come on a public forum and start castigating his brother? Or do you think they don't have their own challenges? You guys ought to be wise... Use your head! |
If you like, deny your ethnicity, even when your forefathers spoke Igbo and bore Igbo names and had the names of their villages in Igbo... You're only short-changing yourself. As other ethnic groups will always see you as Igbo. |
Good job prof.
This is what it means to be a scientist. |
This truly explains why the country is in recession: they're all incompetent. None of the people Buhari has in his cabinet is there by merit. Let them keep on embarrassing Nigerians on weekly basis. |
Good morning Sanusi.... |
kingDELE:Don't say that headies award was fake... Anybody who knows music very well will definitely tell you that Reekado is more talented than Lil Kesh, and he obviously deserved that headies awards. Kiss Daniel is also very talented;but Reekado is more of a well-rounded musician than Kiss.. Lil Kesh doesn't even come any close. Ask yourself this: if you were a foreigner, and you're presented with Reeky's best song and Lil kesh's best song, which one would you prefer? Also,a lot has happened in the lives of all the artists that contended for that headies award since after the headies, what can you say about their individual musical careers? Who has performed relatively better than the rest? How many artists have featured Lil Kesh since then? Mind you,I'm not saying that Lil Kesh is not talented, just that he still has a long way to go. He needs to work on a lot of things in his musical career. |
