Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Problems Fresh Graduates Are Facing: Me I No Gbadun by hackney(m): 7:55pm On May 19, 2009
Having read some of the comments  on this thread(especially the beginning part), it's quite ironic how poor the tenses are while questions are being asked about the quality of certificates in Nigerian Institutions.

Please get a good education if you can and not cruise through school hoping that your shortcuts will go
undetected.
Please mind your tenses as i'm sure other countries read these threads.
(pidgin na pidgin but attempts to use english should be well orchestrated.)

Crime › Re: Death Penalty For 419 Scum by hackney(m): 5:49pm On May 19, 2009
As bad as 419 is, i will not recommend the death sentence for it.
Rather penalties like 10yrs in prison and/or asset confiscation.

Leave death sentence for murderers, armed robbers and gross abuse of public trust  (Govt Looters, bankers and contract money embezzlers).
The reason for this is that for 419 to be effective, there will usually exist a greedy MAGA trying to make 1million% profit.
Business › Re: Ghanaians Fear Nigerian Domination Of Economy –minister by hackney(m): 12:07pm On May 19, 2009
To be frank Ghanians in general are better behaved than Nigerians coupled with their better management at Govt levels.

They just celebrated their 10th year of uninterrupted power supply which Nigeria can never do till christ comes ; light no blink for 10 years in Nigeria? we cant even imagine it and we are shouting about what even?
(That our nepa or phcn is just a bloated dead goat) ;  in another thread was it kwara state that had 1 month of good NEPA and people wanted to move there ; Niggar Please!! .

Nigeria should be ranking with Hong Kong in terms of resources BUT WE ARE NOT, WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT US THEN? it's like a child that was sent to all the best schools but still failed only to boast of his school and fees.
It is shameful but being nigerian you will be too high-shouldered to see it (which is actually part of the problem)

Look ,I used to have a colleague  who was half ghana and half Naija but she prefered Accra 100 times though her Dad lived in VGC  o!!!

So i dont know ,are we boasting due to human resources or something.
Somebody will steal all the money and we will hail him when he drop-top and ride out
What a mentality

Romance › Re: Why Are You Not Married Yet? by hackney(m): 8:40pm On May 18, 2009
Honestly? It's because my current squeeze/g.friend is Kenyan and to be honest if i had one wish
it would be that she is a Nigerian.
You see , its all head over heels but i constantly try to imagine being married to her and see no fairy tale ending there at all. (coupled with their girls known for running away with the kids)

She actually wasnt planning to settle down till we met and i keep remembering what Mum told me about marrying from your country ; with all things being equal o, it's so convinient.

Still looking out for a Naija Princess (to be kiss ).

Family › Re: Why Do Most Nigerian Men Treat Their Wives Like Maids? by hackney(m): 7:51pm On May 18, 2009
Do Nigerian men really (i mean 'really') treat their wives like maids?
Honestly im asking a genuine question here.

How did they meet then and how did he get her to marry him?(did he then change?) ; Do they go to prayer (was gonna say church but. . . ) together? what about traditional outings?

Could it be because some of those wives then do not live up to expectations or arent learned?
Is he treating her like a maid and banging (excuse' moi) her as well? Im Genuinely confused

Please explain to me o somebody !
(i know that people shout in general in nigeria but do they really mean all that yelling?)

Family › Re: Is It Proper For A Woman To Build Her Own House? by hackney(m): 3:34pm On May 18, 2009
Infact if you can afford it , build 100 houses.
Don't mind him as long as you are doing so with the family in mind.(He probably just wants to be sure it's for 'US' )

Some men become emasculated when the wife starts to make more money.

My dear  have a good discussion  with him about it and go ahead and build regardless.

Tomorrow he will be the one balancing in the living room with a plate of peppersoup and no shirt, watching chelsea beat arsenal again smiley

Family › Re: Is It Compulsor For A Woman To Know How To Cook? Would You Marry One Who Doen't? by hackney(m): 3:01pm On May 16, 2009
It is priceless and adoringly homely to have a woman that can go into the kitchen and make a delicious meal for the family.

Infact how can you forfeit that in a woman?  and have her sit there like a man? what?

So: family in danger = not her responsibility
property disputes= not her responsibility
Buglary break-ins = not her responsibility
Family in physical danger= not her responsibility
Washing machine/car broken = not her responsibility
Me= i will kill her and off to the thames or river Niger we go

Looks like girls that can cook even make better wives as per caring potential. (Duh)
Better stick to your mums girls, and learn something.

Family › Re: Is It Compulsor For A Woman To Know How To Cook? Would You Marry One Who Doen't? by hackney(m): 12:32pm On May 16, 2009
For me its a must ; you see, in this day and age, feminism, liberation or whatever is making women of today lose their 'salt'.
Here we are debating if its necessary for a woman to have culinary skills Tomorrow they will want to know if a man should try and breastfeed the baby.

Preparing food for the brood is a natural instinct that comes with having children all you carpet-munching dykes out there.

They want to be bread winners ,they dont want to breastfeed their children or give birth naturally just to keep their shape, they want to be on the warfront, they want to be loose and sleep around, some even walk up to married men and express sexual interest.
The whole thing makes me sick.

There's something about her that makes me think 'Marriage material'.
I guess she has that certain vibe that makes you think she's a keeper:
Beautiful, very sexy, curvaceous and at the same time looks caring.
She's hot

Was told she came to my local pub in N.LDN and i wasnt there; would have been nice to meet her sha.
What a doll kiss

Body-wise, she may actually be in the same class as mercy johnson (sinful curves) kiss shocked tongue
Politics › Re: Republic Of Kano State Is Now Official by hackney(m): 10:28am On May 16, 2009
Kano wants to strike out on its own based on what - groundnuts?
Its just another propaganda and the real scam behind it will reveal itself.

Those arid nothern states are actually very much against Nigeria splitting because they have nothing.(confederation or not)
They are not even learned (Ba turanchi)
