Some folks trying very hard to divide the nation using Us against Them syndrome!
With this all I can see is that the PDP/GEJ propagandists are testing the waters on the religious and ethnic front line. What will stick best and if any regardless of how people will feel or be divided does not matter.
Meanwhile I see Clark flipping over saying I told you so ! APC wants to kill GEJ sad shocked grin
Politics › Re: Daddy G.O. Adeboye Has Hold ON 8.4% Of All Voters In Nigeria by hakanai(m): 11:20am On Dec 28, 2014
KnowAll:
Redeem is a new age church,  unlike d sultan of sokoto or d catholics in d east, d members of redeem are born-again xtrains who heed to every word of their General Overseer obviously through d parish pastor. Unlike d catholic of d East, how many have actually dedicated their life to d church, many are Catholics because they were born a catholic, a large proportion of d sole called 32 million Catholics have never been inside a church 4 decades, or how come d society in East has degenerated to almost anarchy in d case of Abia State if d citizen of this state hold on dearly to the tenents of catholic teaching.

Kidnapping has over-run d whole SE Nigeria. It was once a time dat people fear God in the East that is a bygone era. On the Sultan of Sokoto, Kano & d NE has never voted with Sokoto, check all d previous election so saying d sultan of Sokoto is d spiritual head of muslims in Nigeria will not hold.

Daddy G.O wether u like it or not is a living legend, it is not when somebody dies, b4 the person becomes a hero, this is life hero and one of d 50 most influential people in d world.
On the issue of the sultan you are clearly wrong. I know his influence dwindle but he could still pull more than 4 times the figures of RCCG G.O. he has a strong following in the NW and moderate following NE. Whilst it extends to the NC and weakens to the South. Now what are the figures again of Muslims in the NW? That said the sultan only issue is he prefers to remain indifferent just to avoid getting into issues amongst political parties. He world prefer to allow Muslims go about there choice. Seeking his endorsement doesn't not automatically translate to support of every Muslim . But it could assure you a favorable influence amongst a lot of northern traditional rulers and a significant chunk of the Muslim population. But I trust he will not do such a thing. Let religion be kept away from politics.
That said I feel RCCG G.O. has maintained a largely neutral position. Just like a large number of catholics. Don't know about all the denominations. I do know that a lot of religious bodies not withstanding have secretly offered there flocks for some negative worldly gains. Without the public knowing. They only indicator is there usual outright support and religious justification of political matters .

Politics › Re: Bishop Isong Dares Buhari To Publicly Promise Not To Islamise Nigeria by hakanai(m): 10:50am On Dec 25, 2014
Maybe the bishop did not bother to watch the APC presidential primaries. Buhari affirmed his government if voted will not in anyway be run based on gender, tribal or religious bias. That you can hold him to or take to the bank.
Maybe you people need to cut this man some slack. He has again and again promise to govern by the rule of law. If Islamitization is indeed in our laws then that should be the case.As we standard that is not captured anywhere in the Constitution.
Moreover if he does win he will have sworn to protect all and uphold the laws of the Land Nigeria before he is fully allowed to run a government by our laws. Not Islamic not xtian! That is why its called swearing in. So why be eager to call for an early swearing in?
Now all that is left is can he walk the talk? I say yes judging by his past leadership it is evident he does not rule with any such religious bias.Again he up holds rule of law.

And I foresee a redeemed country.

These guys should shut it. What's the hullabaloo about exactly?? Did anyone threaten to attack Jonathan's supporters in the North??

If the threats of attacks is anything to go by, then one would agree with me it has mostly been coming from the south and it hasn't just been verbal, they have also gone physical. Have we forgotten what happened to APC stalwarts when they visited Amaechi last year??

What about the constant threats Amaechi comes under from some Nig,er Deltans simply because he chose to excise his.freedom of association?? He's been called a bastard, a traitor, and all manner of unprintable names.

With the damages Jonathan has done with his divisive way of politicking, I could wager my life the Ijaw people will not smell Aso Rock in a hundred years after his exit in 2015.

The arms you guys are stockpiling will only be used to exterminate your own families.

Nigeria will survive.
Please include Raymond Dokpesi who got death treats over his support for northern candidate during the 2011 elections!. Abi is the treat to David West and so many others too many to mention! We heard them say any of there son who votes someone that is not there should not return to the ND . We have heard them threaten to burn properties of ND for supporting anyone from the north. We also remember while BH ravaged the north and took life they say an ordinary visit to reassure the victims,we are together with you is a ploy to lure him into a trap. Meanwhile he saw no issue going to chad and Burkina Faso.
I say screw the treat!!!! Any northerner who support an Ijaw is a traitor and foolish!!!! Do your worse. angry angry angry

This CAN president will never leave sultan alone. What is the beef nah? Na wa o!When ever he speaks or goes public somehow Sultan must be mention or drag into it.The same way he sent a letter to ISIS.The sultan has offer to dialogue with the sect on approval from FGN.That is not a hidden agenda or story is in the media. We also note that if today Sultan letter is intercepted by Army what will be xtian views or if today BH phone numbers are found on the sultans phone? I know his tale will be worse than the seized SA arms saga.

However, the Secretary-General of the NSCIA, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, while speaking to newsmen on Thursday, warned that the President-General of the council should not be hoodwinked into taking up the task of negotiating with the terrorists.

He said, “The Muslim community had always been taking action; it had always been appealing to the people (Boko Haram) but Muslim leaders are also cautious because in your process to go out to look for these people; if in the process you’re caught talking with them, the government can even turn against you and say you’re part of part of Boko Haram.

“No matter the level of the Muslim leader, he has to think twice before he begins to communicate with these people (sect) because the same government that you want to work for can turn against you and accuse you of complicity; and you will be on your own.

“They (government) have enough machinery to present you as a devil such that members of your family will believe that you’re a devil.”

When asked if such could be done to the Sultan, the professor insisted that the Islamic leader could be implicated without the backing of the government, especially at a time when “many of us are being unduly monitored.”

He added, “I am not the Sultan but fortunately the Sultan has dual status; traditionally, he is the Sultan of Sokoto; religiously, he is the leader of the Muslim community. I relate with him as far as his mandate as the leader of the Muslim community is concerned.

“In that capacity, I will not advise him to hold any unilateral action with the sect without having the full confidence of the government of the day. If anybody makes such calls, somebody like the Sultan should think twice before venturing into searching for people you do not know.”

Oloyede asked why the Federal Government kept the findings by the Presidential Committee on Dialogue and Peaceful Resolution of Security Challenges in the North, which was chaired by the Minister of Special Duties, Taminu Turaki.

“I believe that by now, as Muslims leaders, we should have access to the findings; we don’t. We are just working in darkness. By now, even if the report had not been released, we should have had access to it. Then, we will be able to have some clues to what is happening,” the NSCIA scribe stated.

Also, an Islamic pressure group, Muslims Rights Concern, said it was the responsibility of the Federal Government, and not the Sultan, to seek an end to the insurgency by the group.
newsmen in an interview on Friday that the Sultan had spoken out against the activities of the sect on several occasions, “what else do they want him to do?”
He said, “I stand by the decision of the Supreme Council; it is a very correct position. The Sultan cannot negotiate, particularly without the Federal Government’s green light. We don’t support the idea of the Sultan negotiating because he would be seen as somebody who has vested interests. Why can’t the Federal Government take that up?”

The Professor of Islamic Eschatology stated that there was no reason for the Muslim community to rise up to the challenge separately, as it would be “tantamount to sedition, separatism and rising when the Federal Government should rise.”

Funny how this woman talks. You mentioned by extension of owning the plane your husband was roped in. now you turn to the Sultan to make up flimzy excuses for your own problem by connecting NSA to Minister and then Sultan in other to float a misinformation. I would have being more sympathetic if i only you stayed with the story that you didnt know anything. Calling names and pointing fingers towards the sultan in this matter is merely a drowning attempt meant to stain others at all cost.Particularly the muslims you pretend to love. I mean why not accuse government,Jonathan or the NSA for spoiling your name. Why induce religious sentiments into it.Why make it always look like you have beef with the sultan always. At one time a media report once stated the CAN president was patronizing the presidency! before you know, his response was to suggest again the Sultan visits the president more. Now again you are at it trying to put the blame on the sultan and suggesting he master minded it.As well you are again suggesting he is a sychophant. What is wrong with you and hating muslims. How many times has the sultan made such false assumptions or any allegations, when ever you accuse him. Since the incidence he has clearly remained indifferent to it. yet you are systematically blaming him even when you claim to manage the plane. Do you mean really know what you implied by being the manager. Yet you cant account for the planes activity. Atleast no be okada abi danfo.
As for me i always believed the incidence may have being a deal gone bad with or without your knowledge. na you sabi. Also there is no way NSA will contract such business without presidential & precidency approval. Even TAN may have being waiting to use it as campaign.Due the amount and the facts on ground over security GEJ as C in C certainly is aware. Yet you did not deem it fit to query his role.

Plenty lies as usual. The entire north east has only 2 governors ( Bauchi and Adamawa) possibly Fulani. 1 is even impeached leaving 1 in contention.Gombe,Taraba,Borno,Yobe are certainly not Fulani. In the north west. Doubt they exceed 50%. Your assumption they may be Fulani's because they inter marry will be erroneous. If there father is Hausa for instance then you know things change. Also someone like ex gov shekarau is not in anyway Fulani.
North central. I strongly doubt they even have one. So how is it in your wild fictions you arrive at the conclusion they run the state politics. In short go beyond the governors to God fathers and tell me how many Fulani's are king makers. Even Babangida is not Fulani. Go through the northern ministers present and past. They hardly hold 10%.

@op Chairman strategist!!!! At the moment the only position in the helms of national security not changed is that of the president. The chiefs were shuffled, minister of defence,NSA etc That apart nah DSS remain ! So if things have changed under him and the impact is not felt then I should point finger to the main mobilizer. Moreover if you most be honest,no one force the candidates on him for nomination. He most have seen something worth using in tackling the insecurity challenges to have hired them. This man has selected and fired at will. His kinsman and people from the other divide.
If you like bring Tsun Tzu, if the man is not empowered or given the right mandate , it will result in zero. You folks keep trying to find excuses and scape goats as excuse for failure. If I may ask how many times did BH change leadership? Yet they keep derailing our military.
Oga sir , i believe our weakness is about strategy, logistics then command and control. We lack the three in the C in C. please note even employing the wrong team is a failure for a tactical leader. If he picked Azzazi and Dasuki or Haliro and Gusau or iherijike or minimah and no result then the man who assigned doesn't not know how to assemble the right commanders QED!!!!
Anyway he may very well soon run out of candidates for blaming. Then maybe you folks will blame his Cook instead!!!!

I wonder what such a religious body will say about being fair and just,if they had the life of Muslims in there hands? If they continue to think and talk this way. undecided undecided undecided
I mean if today CAN was put to manage the affairs of the nation or advice the elders of the nation on the way forward,I see just how they and there lot will do things.Hate, intolerance is all i continue to see and where they will put efforts.
If not ,I mean one can't believe that such a group,so full of hate and extremist/fanatical views will do anything better than encourage difference via intolerance or deceit. How can they look the other way and only mark 2 inconsequential officials to running of the armed forces because of faith and ignore the others that are major players in the running of security around the nation.
Haba!!! It is just so obvious this people have a thing against Muslims in Nigeria. People need to see this people for what they are. Extremist and bigots. They are no different from the BH for all i care. If they had there ways i see them wish away the Muslims. But i say you bigots suck and continue to breed a bias mind set and CAN is insensitivity to the current situation of things in the nation.
Your hopes to destroy Islam will fail ,just like how BH will fail with time..

Christianity Etc › Re: Do Muslim Have Worship Songs? by hakanai(m): 4:00pm On Oct 12, 2014
Well i know the act of singing praises in churches is meant to glory the maker as understood by the xtians. But for Muslims is prostrations and recitations of glorifying words to the maker. Well in every act of call to prayer and salat is praises to the maker and glorifying the maker. When we carry rosary around we often recite one thing or the other to glorify Allah. Example "praise belongs to Allah","Allah is the greatest","I seek refuge from satan", "glory be to Allah" etc.
Looking closely at gospel songs or church chorus its full of words that repeat gratitutde to to God, greatness and love of the Maker and many more.Am simplying implying the content to every faith is the same praises and gratitude to the maker. Via singing, fasting, reciting, charity or prayers.
Back to the singing, i doubt we have similar worship singing as observed by xtians during worship. Its is like asking the Xtian to call adhan before church service!!! The xtians may use the church bells, while muslims would call the adhan (call to prayer)

I once thought about this. That someday the BH in there blunders attack the Fulani and by extension drag them into the war. I can assure the BH will prefer hiding in the cities to the current remote heavens they enjoy running too. They write up to a large extent is true. If the BH touches/provokes the fulani , it will be a bloody one in the bush! The army can simply go to sleep. Because both are masters of the wilderness, survivors of harsh terrains and enduring bloody fighters!
