Politics › Re: BREAKING NEWS: Nuhu Ribadu Joins PDP by hakanai(m): 7:27pm On Aug 16, 2014
Finally,we can move on again!!!!
I think there is a bigger picture to the decamping. Its kind of reducing the likely younger generation that could be used to for the presidential post in the opposition ranks. The APC needs to begin massive grooming of possible candidates to float from multiple zones of interest that can make waves.Cos right now the options are becoming slimmer. With this the treat of a Ribadu candidacy for presidential is lost in the opposition.
I fear that more will decamp after the primaries.Only consolation is that same could happen in the PDP too. Even with that APC seems more prone to losing members. As they have little to offer as consolation for people that lose primaries compared to the ruling PDP.They would have more to dangle (contracts, appointment & bribes etc).It will boil down to the Nigerian people to salvage the nation if...rice matter, intimidation & BH is not used!

APC wake Up oooo!!!!!

Politics › Re: APC Not Making Efforts To Integrate Igbo – Uwazurike by hakanai(m): 9:24am On Aug 14, 2014
madamoringo: Let ibos integrate themselves. It is not the job of any part of Nigeria to babysit or spoon feed the ibos. Ibos can go to APC or PDP, what is integration there? Is any other part of Nigeria asking to be integrated, when it is their job to belong where they want? When will Ibos stop this feeding bottle liability complex?
^^^^^ Couldn't have being said better. That said they rejected the APC in there quest to suck up to GEJ and not the other way. They labelled it an anti-Igbo party and sidelined it. While the likes of Rochas remained and continue to advocate for Igbo presidency they simply labelled it from day one as anti-Igbo.They simply want APC to hand them the party because of there noise. Doesn't work that way.instead of castigating the party and making it look an enemy, you can be part of it and drive the change you desire. Its a party not some slaughter House. That said, the igbos continue to make the mistake of making the far north an enemy and believing is only befriending the minorities or xtians or splitting northerners along fault lines they can keep the north away from power and further allow there selfish goals progress.I tell you that everyday you make an enemy by your foolishness and gross mistakes. You could have a quest to make friends from all sides as it is about numbers and small things can be a key change for you someday.
The Yorubas have set the way. They do as they want but ensure they manage good diplomacy. The Igbos are trying to drag them into out right confrontations with the north. Which they have seen as not necessary.Instead of the Igbos recognizing that Yorubas are independent minded, they resolve to unleash all sort of venom and propaganda to make them the villains too. Igbos with there spread can be key in everything if only they can harness the contacts they have in there dealings and be more open minded and stop the pre/pro - Biafra antics.
Politics › Re: Chibok Girls: Troops In Sambisa Forest, Says DHQ by hakanai(m): 9:02am On Aug 14, 2014
“Sambisa Forest is over 6,000 square kilometres. It is not true that the place was re-taken by Boko Haram. There is freedom of movement in Nigeria and so, people move about freely. Do you know that there are village settlements and communities in the Sambisa Forest and that is another limitation to bombing?”

^^^^^ honestly the army is delaying. If truly that is the main enclave and you need more firepower to flush them out or eradicate the strong hold then drop messages or use dropped radios to inform all inhabitants to move to a collection point for screening and relocation within a time frame, Otherwise level everything with them there abeg.
If the Sambisa inhabitants are villagers there are ways to reach them. I am sure some listen to radio. After all South Korea drops audio/electronic device via ballons into North Korea to allow the people hear about the outside world.
I say secure the SAmbisa forest. Drop evacuation notice. Then move/assist all relocation of inhabitants to resettlement centres(ensure screening out of BH elements amongst the people relocating) , all within a stipulated period. Run recons to gauge the level of compliance by the villagers. If people refuse to comply honestly they are not interested in living. Shell the forest and throw anything at them jor. Turn it ash!!!! If you are done we can all go there and even help the villagers restore all they have have lost. We can't allow this impunity continue.

REALLY !!!!
At such a time. Na wah!!! Please what ever deserve doing, most be done well. If we are to combat terror we most show honest support for people in the battle front on that war.
Honestly i am not happy how soldiers & soldiers killed in the line of duty are treated. We need to have top government and military dignitaries in attendance to appreciate this people.Assure there families that the ultimate sacrifice is justified and material thing is the least of there problems.Provide there family so that anyone out there serving the nation, knows he is dying for a cause. To protect a nation that loves him, will cherish and keep what he leaves behind. For the love of God why is it that EFCC can not probe the military. Are they not Nigerians? Are they above the law or what? Can't we have the expenditures screened and frauds dealt with in what ever court of law.I know crime nah crime.Civilian or army.Government should insist that EFCC get involved in checking the financials of the military.
That said is there any association (credible) that someone can recommend. With the key responsibility of caring for the families of our fallen heros? If any please do share. I intend to contribute in any small measure i can.We also have a duty to help.I need to and have too..!

Please for the serving officers you maybe faced with challenges, so frustrating and dangerous, but you have a responsibility to protect the innocent people and still be law abiding. what ever you do remember that you will be judged here on earth and after death. You most try to resist temptations of politicization and allowing anger becloud your duties and best ethics.Often times it saddens the heart to hear our respected heros and protectors are indulged in raping, battering or going on rampage, killing people in unjust ways or despicable methods.Above that refusing to address the issues & protecting the criminals in there midst.

Politics › Re: 3 People That Can Stop Boko Haram-Oritsejafor by hakanai(m): 8:05am On Jul 13, 2014
wallbuilder: So we are appealing to Muslim clerics, Muslim traditional rulers, and Muslim political leaders. These three groups should come together and look at all these doctrines and pick amongst them those that these boys respect because they know them and still respect some of them. Pick them and send them to these people so that they can sit with them and openly, prayerfully, by superior argument begin to change their mind.
”I met a group in Abuja who were sharing something with me, they said that there’s one Muslim leader, he’s late now, that when Muhammed Yusuf was still the leader, he sent for him and he came to meet him in Kaduna and he was asking him saying ‘which is the Haram? Is it the language? Are you saying now that other languages are inferior to Kanuri because you are Kanuri?’
He said, ‘what about the SUV you drove to me meet here, is that Haram? What about the gold wristwatch you are wearing, is that Haram?’ And he began to show him some of these things. According to what they told me, they said when he finished, he begged the cleric saying ‘I’m so sorry, please forgive me. I will go back and try and convince my people’.
”Obviously, Yusuf didn’t succeed in convincing his Boko Haram members but you can see that by superior argument, the Muslim leader was able to calm him down. I believe that there are those of them who can do it. If they do that, we will be heading towards solution to this problem.
^^^^ The so called person who spoke to Yusuf from what people were saying is Late Shiek Jaffar and it was more of an argument on if education was a sin.Especially as the sect based some of its ideology on BOKO HARAM. Due to superior argument he was convinced to see the error of his teaching and admit it was unIslamic and misleading.Which he promised to amend amongst his followers.Even with that Yusuf never did stop his followers from believing Eduction was Sin as practiced in schools.
This was before there militancy started. It was around Obj tenure. Also the said person they listen to going by the CAN leader is dead and was killed in Kano by unknown gunmen who stormed a mosque and shot him. Some believe it was politically motivated by Shekarau(ex-Gov Kano). Because Shiek jaffar also had a backlash with the governor over the sharia implementation. He maintained the sharia used in Northern Nigeria was political & objected to the political sharia being practiced in the North.Where only the poor people are judged using Sharia and politicians avoid judgements based on sharia. The rich don't give out zakat and violet laws via corruption and other vices.Often Ignored & allowed to walk freely due to there influence. He had warned about politicizing the practice of sharia. Its either its practice holistically or removed completely than use it when a favors some people.
Talking to the Sect as claimed by the CAN leader is much more difficult thing now. After much detention and killing of the Likes of Yusuf in the group along with it came more violent and radicalized leaders/commanders of the militant sect.Who are not the reasoning bunch. I don't know but with that thing Shekau in power? It will be a difficult one. If Shekau was out probably it could allow likely moderate voices surface.

Now how many bags of rice beans, yam, beverage, kitchen utencils, soup Ingredients will 500mil buy? I still think an entire community can feed off that cash.
For me he did well listening, but he and VP should share that as sum bill for everything they do in the villa jor.
After all them get salary. Dont just say its small cash. That nah serious captial for many youthsnto start up biz. Or even get scholarship. Now that money can establish how many schools, hospitals or even free drugs and educational aid. Also that money can serve an entire parastal salary and cost with even fraud.

Politics › Re: Jonathan Launches First Nigerian-Built Drone by hakanai(m): 12:07am On Dec 18, 2013
E better pass nothing sha!!!!
That said the drone looks small for the required purpose and it seems to probably use wireless signals that are easy to intercept. Its better we even buy the cheaper chinco brand of the predator at 1mil dollars and strike better technology transfer with the Chinese to fast track our own drone development.
Already china is making giant strive to acquire advance technology on drone apart from the west. The west may prefer not to give Nigeria any advance system.
I support indigenous technology. I also feel Nigeria should go for gold o! lets meet chinco for now. Also forget Israel on drone. They have good drone technology but will hardly provide us anything better than mere short RF drones. Similar to the one shown here. Something platoons or small units use for small distance surveillance during operations.
We need drones offering several hours ,minimum 24 hrs of flight per mission.Easily use to comb the creeks, remote deserts, mountains, forest and borders for illegal camps and border crossings.

Atlantian: I have no time for tribal politics,[s] if you have that time to decend that low[/s], then congratulations, I am born again, so should you.

All we want today, as Nigerians, since we have discovered that these thieves use tribalism and religion to separate the poor masses, while they loot our treasury, is to use this opportunity that we have.

This opportunity I am talking about, is because we have an "ordinary" Nigerian in Aso rock, that's hated by the mafians in PDP, to salvage our country. We MUST say No to tribalism henceforth, and unite to fight the mafiaso with words, with online revolutions and by God's grace, offline campaigns, to let the constitution reign supreme, No more gentlemanly agreements, no more PDP cabals, no more APC blackmails, simply allow us to chose brilliant leaders.

We DO NOT WANT KADUNA MAFIA DICTATING WHO RULES NIGERIA. We are ashamed of Nigeria, and we want to salvage our battered image.
^^^My feelings are that this is a political as well as religious cleansing! They're trying to change the demographics of the core north with future elections in mind! I fear for the indigenous Christians in the north, especially if this country breaks.....there would be pogroms and ethnic cleansing on an unimaginable scale. These people are pure unadulterated evil, and some people saw decades ago that we're incompatible with them......with different values and outlook in life, yet others said we should remain as a country inspite of their wickedness!

It's good to bear in mind that majority of core northern muslims have nothing to do with this evil, and are powerless to do much about it; rather it's a section of their elite (Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri/Nupe/etc) in concert with foreign jihadists that are stoking this conflagration! Their ultimate goal is power and control, and they're prepared to stop at nothing in achieving it!
^^^ Do you exist in the hearts of men now? Abi they told you in a meeting you attended. This is the silly excuse that your sort and ethnocentric people like you spread that divides opinion and make people lose focus of issues at hand. Always politicizing issues and straining the bridges that bind. What is like wrong with your kind? So for the Muslims that have being attacked and killed for weeks now in Borno & Yobe are they going to vote against the north? or what is your silly excuse for them! You people are simply shameless hypocrites and damn evil than you want to be seen.
At first they were hiding them. They Muslims took action in the form of civilian JTF to show there true positions and sack the sect in there midst. They (Muslims) were killed in revenge for there actions and you simply say they deserve it. Not long ago the president requested an extension of emergency rule and he got it on the floor of both houses, thats talking of the elites.
Simply because some people believe a carrot and stick approach be applied does not in any way mean support for BH but people trying to proffer options to resolve the issues. People should learn to keep there stupid views and talk sensibly on public issues.
Last i checked the opposition was blamed. All but people who suck up to GEJ were spared from accusations of being BH sponsors. The truth is gradually coming out and every now and then facts show it is rather a cross boarder matter of global terror. Not internal as GEJ,PDP and Ltd. intend to make it look for acting the victim always. As we stand today Azazi,US and EU never shared the lies GEJ government feed certain people(secretly) in Nigeria for political gains. The government is truly divisive and your sort are its paid agent.

The height of your silliness is evident in your 2% Christian population talk.
