hakai nai, you have a lot over there and may God bless you for that! When people mostly from south south talk about this snc, what comes to the mind of every other Nigeria is that the ppl in ND are greedy(im not form Nd) infact even some illitrate ND thinks its there opportunity to have their resource all themselves and be all rich or better than others, but all these are not the real reason for the snc. Personally snc will tackle so many issues in Nigeria that so many people cant imagined, it will unite the ordinary Nigerians in the street by knowing whom their real enemy is!
At first, snc will affect surly every corner of Nigeria se,sw,nd,etc apart from lagos. Even the aba made you talking about, do you know that the govt of abia can create more money for its govt and state from the aba made but guess what everybody wants money from abuja!!
Its right time for us to kick laziness and corruption out of this country, which will yield result for less poverty so our children can be rank intellectually with outside world and atlast remove religious extremist in our mist then there will be no more killing because he/she is not from my tribe/religion.
All the above can be solved by the rival of all state economy. The different states will even interact to solve issues with the parties benefitting.

This lend some credence to the claim by JNI that indeed CAN may be behind most of these bombings only to turn around to pretend victimhood.
I think that reasoning maybe some what unfair.Yes anyone can pretend to be BH and carry out an act of criminality. To accuse everyone in that group is unfair.Unless proven.

People suggesting that people will not lynch suspected bombers must be confused. This has being happening and people apprehend and handover suspects to the police. Now what we want is the police should find what is true.

Lol! You've got loads of ideas man!
The end result we should all gun for is finished goods with added value; that will generate more income, expertise and employment benefits; thats just so right.
Even if we are farming tomatoes, let us can them; if what we have is beans, let us learn to export akara. I am damn sure there must be a way to package suya for export etc.

The plain truth is that switching off oil money today will only affect state civil servants who are not that many. The common man will not even know that money has stopped flowing from Abuja, because the average governor shares the loot amongst friends and family and puts the rest straight in the bank. Does the market woman know when the oil price has risen, does it lessen her burden of poverty? No.
We all know there population is small. The civil service is rarely functioning. It is even responsible for the chucnk of money illegally syphoned.Corruption is endermic in that area and duplication of functions yet rarely delivering anything. Not close the tap.Allow ND control the taps with little going to the centre.Shikenan.

Haka ne kwo ba Haka bane   you seems to miss it all out, the fact remains that Christians are being murdered at their places of worship by terrorist who propagate their cause through Islam, therefore whether its Boko Haram or not, the perpetuators mere Mohammedans who still believe that violence is the only way to preach their satanic religion, you keep bombing while we keep developing new means of curbing your schemes, you keep getting backward while we develop in newer technologies and advance in technologies that will combat terrorism!!!!!!
Okay, assuming your point has being noted. Now that you choose to blame muslims totally. Please report to the nearest security so they round up every muslim in plateau and beyond, then charge them to court or do jungle justice by killing all of them because some sect fools under the banner of religion attacked a church.Has it ever occured to you that some muslims feel disturbed about this and very concerned about the situation? Is it possible this people could offer to prevent BH using there midst to hide?If only you can tell them we are in this together. They are our enemies as much as they are yours. You would have taken thge challenege to them.simple!
Not drag the entire peace loving diverse communities into it.In the desperate act to respond by the instinct of a sentiment driven person. That said RIP to the victims.I believe until tomorrow pass and a few days after that anything can happen.Being sunday the xtians maybe reluntant but by tomorrow it could be another day o!
That said i don't mean to offend anyone.I am merely suggesting that this circle of violence can be discouraged and better resolve made to work against any non peace loving person or persons.God forbid but if another happens and another will they keep fighting each other or work together to stop it.They have an opportunity to work together with people from the divide to protect the state and in habitants from the BH menace.

‘US troops in Yemen island for Iran war’

Sun, 26 Feb 2012 07:32:21 GMT

A report has revealed that thousands of US troops have arrived in the Yemeni island of Socotra for a possible military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The troops built up comes a few months after the announcement of the creation of a US Army base near Yemeni waters, Islam Today website reported.

This is while Yemen had said that it rejected a deal with Washington for having a temporary military base in the island.

Socotra, which is situated 80 kilometers east of the Horn of Africa and 380 kilometers southeast of the Yemeni coastline, lies athwart the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The United States has been quietly building giant air force and naval bases on Socotra since 2010 with facilities for submarines, intelligence command centers and take-off pads for flying stealth drones.

The secret Socotra facilities are never mentioned in any catalogue listing US military facilities in this part of the world, which include Jebel Ali and al-Dahfra in the United Arab Emirates; Arifjan in Kuwait; and al-Udeid in Qatar.

The US and Israel have repeatedly threatened Tehran with the "option" of a military strike, saying Iran's nuclear program may include a covert military aspect, a claim strongly rejected by Tehran.

Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has never found any evidence indicating that Tehran's civilian nuclear program has been diverted towards nuclear weapons production.

You guys are sad and pathetic.
Well my comments have not mentioned your name neither have i insulted you.As much as you want to hate, please do if it pleases you. This are facts and you read the comments from alqeada on the issue. The madness has started already and the flesh eaters, blood suckers and family night killers are already acting. How hard is it to understand that innocent people die from the bombings and silly excuses for revenege.Targetted at people that had nothing to do with it.That said it is not a lie.I have lived it and you can't tell me shit about Jos.There will be killings of people even travelling through Jos.There will be attacks and counter attackers.Where this could have being avoided by a simple understanding that BH acts on her own.I have people in town from the divide and the heat is already building.
If they attack more people in there quest to revenge it could escalate and cause more killings accross. Why not suggest dialogue and understanding than justify killings or blood letting on another.BH did it!But now with such act the entire muslim and xtian community is drawn into it.When it could have being dicussed and a joint approach taken to address it.
Meanwhile if my comments offend you,na you sabi.I am not BH or the attacker. So i owe you nothing.I stand for myself. So do alot of innocent people from both sides of the divide that may not see tomorrow or the days after.Courtesy people like you.Destroy more lifes all you want o!

Honestly i feel it is fair that in the previous unconcluded resource issues.A gradual increase in resource control by the owners be encouraged.I support that without doubt.Have you notice even thought the arrangement didn't get a final nod, since then the useless northern governors have not made do with the ones given them.
My take is this forget our backwardness and forget the silly clamour for resource control.Let everyboduy have a giant control in the resources they have.It will not help us if keep feeding this governors. They shoudl work towards generating revenue or resign. Some came to power and found industires working and gradually they watched them collapse with out any concern. So please and please it will help us up north it that free oyel money is stopped or reduced so the owners are happy and then northern governors/leaders are motivated to act.
There may be a short backlash but we would be better off afterwards. Its called survival i tell you.If they realise all this they would simply invest and attach serious priority to there resources.Otherwise they would continue to wait monthly and have meetings asking for monies always. They should understand they have to survive without it period.they most initiate the programs to take us there. They must have an economic vision. If Dangote can invest 500K in the 70s and become richer than most of this states from agro products packaging only, then they shoudl be ashamed with the billions they have collected. If it means you empower people with a little off you budget.from scholarships to setting up industries and encouraging your people to embrace the idea.Yobe satte once invested in the stock markert to generate money and it worked for them at one point in time.Katsina also did some bank arrangements and project ideas thgat have saved the state monies and finishged projects at record time.etc Today am into ICT and alot of my northern friends and i can tell its about trend, intellect and skills. With little to do with capital intensive starting. The north is also moving to ICT in government. With alot to be done.If they can manage resources and build ICT,a market can be made for the teaming unemployed
from the inception of democracy we were told about gum arabic in the sahel savannah areas of the far north.to stop desertification and generating revenue.Where are they ?This is something that has tremedious dual use.How much is a hummer or luxury car?convert that to trees. They said this could rake in billions enough to manage atleast 9 states. We have granite rocks.we have soild minerals. We have agro products.why not convert g-oil to high standards, corn to finished products from industries up north. What happens everyday is farmer sell it without government getting tax, down south to industries to process and send all over the nation again and revenue is generated. We can't make noodles,we can't make tin tomatoe paste,we can't make corn flakes or oats or cereals,we can't make sausage,we can't make feeds,we can't make textiles,we can't make jewelries,We can't train the teaming graduates in to ICT,we can't make leather products of high standard for designers world wide.despite our lifestock, our shoes and textiles are mostly made from Aba. c,mon this governors are dafts period.
NO ! NO!! NO!!! The north most work and it must get rolling.

Official: Suicide car bomber targets major church during service in restive central Nigeria
By Associated Press, Updated: Sunday, February 26, 8:43 AM

LAGOS, Nigeria — A suicide car bomber detonated his explosives Sunday morning outside of the major church in the heart of a restive central Nigerian city that has seen hundreds die in religious and ethnic violence, an official said, killing three people and injuring others.

The explosion struck the main headquarters of the Church of Christ in Nigeria during its early morning service, Plateau state spokesman Pam Ayuba said. The blast killed the bomber and a father and child near the explosion, while wounding others, Ayuba said.

Police officials in the city could not be immediately reached for comment. A military spokesman for the area also did not answer calls for comment.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, though a radical Islamist sect known as Boko Haram has launched increasingly bloody attacks across Nigeria, including attacks on churches. A Christmas Day bombing of a Catholic church claimed by the sect in Madalla, a town just outside the country’s capital Abuja, killed at least 44 people.

The group also claimed responsibility for bomb attacks on Christmas Eve that struck Jos, killing as many as 80 people.

Jos and surrounding Plateau state has found itself torn apart in recent years by violence pitting its different ethnic groups and major religions — Christinity and Islam — against each other. Human Rights Watch says at least 1,000 people were killed in communal clashes around Jos in 2010.

The violence, though fractured across religious lines, often has more to do with local politics, economics and rights to grazing lands. The government of Plateau state is controlled by Christian politicians who have blocked Muslims from being legally recognized as citizens. That has locked many out of prized government jobs in a region where the tourism industry and tin mining have collapsed in the last decades.

ACF has already shown her willingness to go with it since it became an Issue. So they are in.Why i suggested the NASS is simple they believe there role is duplicated. They feel the treats more.Lastly i know the opppositions(ACN,CPC,APGA etc) have indicated at different times there readiness and support for that. The bulk of the resistance is some how within PDP and the powers that hold it together.SO my take is this, if GEj can say yes and then gradually isolate the players who don't want it.We could drive the SNC to it goals. They are politicians and won't want to be isolated and rendered powerless. That brings us to the SNC players.Who shoulod represent the various peoples and interest groups in Nigeria.I see it this is just a start. Before PDP will do the governors select representatives.,which is more of NASS.loyalist that can be controlled. You asked if the northern coalition of concerned notherners are key players in north? We don't care right now.Because even in the south the key players are still mute. The issue is are they from the north or south. If yes, then when they say it is dialogue under SNC we want then so be it abeg.We should look at people at various levels. Not from only leadership or cliques.More over a key political element of the north ACF and some political elements have spoken. Also leaders of tradition and peoples have suggested same. The issue is would it truly change our situation. Are we sure it will not be hijacked by PDP or political parties again.
I don't see governors selecting the right people. It will be politics as usual. This time every and all must be represented. All tribes and faiths.Forget party and forget politicians in power.People with the passion and true agenda for a better relationship and progress of there people be nominated.Simple!!!I pray we allow this work and come out of it truly better.

Good reference prof.Abeg tell this fools. What you should have said is why are all the industries in your state not generating revenue. Why is your population not skilled/educated and working?Ask the fools what have they done in the last two years to honestly show they are working towards economic rival?Ask them to point a few companies or industries that are progressing in the area of tapping into human and natural resources they have.As a governor what was he able to suggest and initiate to direct development.
Don't give them oyel money again. They would use it to buy luxury things and finance politics. They should be asked to go back and invest in the resources they have and see to it the revenue is improved.Meanwhile if the state is bankrupt, please start selling the government luxury vehicles you have acquired and swap them with affordable ones. You can also lease out the governors many guess houses and make some money.rather than useless keep them.If GEJ was asked to scrape of excess spending this people be told to do same. After all na the same tomatoes, okoro, kuka and corn we all chop from the market. If you not dey chop then learn too.Arrogant fools.Leadership is not child's play. When you volunteered and even went as far as rigging to get there you should have known it will be your responsibility to make money for the state and cater for the state. angry angry angry angry
