Because I am a woman, my husband cheats on me, I am told to tolerate it to save my marriage. The barbaric and stupid excuse is that ''it is their nature to cheat, I should slim down, dress better, cook better, pray harder and be more pleasant to him"

I cheat, and I am called a LovePeddler, I have committed an abomination, I have no right to look elsewhere for the love and emotional support I lack

So I am sent packing, from the home we both built, with all my earthly possessions stuffed into a tiny box on my head. I am henceforth forbidden from seeing my two older children, I'm lucky to be allowed to go with my little one still sucking on my left breast. Three years later, the little one is tagged a bastard. Now, my new name is "after-three", because I am a woman.

A man looses his wife to death and remarries a year after, he did the right thing, he's being praised and congratulated for moving on, after all life is for the living.

A woman looses her husband to death and remarries after 4yrs, "aaah! so early? Are u sure she wasn't sleeping with that man even when her husband was alive? That was why she killed her husband. She's a witch! Because she's a woman. But don't forget, that what makes a woman does not make her less human!
A Woman has the most unique character like salt! Her presence is never remembered, but her absence makes all the things tasteless.

I totally disagree. I cannot see how throwing a stinking drum of misdemeanours under the bus will not cause a catatrophic eruption of stench when the bus runs over it. I cannot see how covering dirty laundry will not double the malaise when the sun's ultraviolet rays kill bacteria. I cannot see how covering a festering wound will not cause the total loss of limb or life.

I cannot see how criticism will do anything but call attention to the problems within this country afterall no matter how bad a situation there are still many, infact evenly split that see nothing wrong in the sad situation. I cannot for the life of me seek to coverup the terrible financial crimes comitted by Nigerians abroad when a lot of folks see it as slave trade reparations....

I'm sorry, this country is a mess. But I have no intention of leaving it for a ready made society where the indigenous population has made so much sacrifices to establish. I will stay here and do my bit to right society. I will continue to fight, to speak and act in accordance with a clear and good conscience.

And a clear conscience knows no shame. Nigeria right now is a mess and her citizens are almost at the bottom of humanity's ladder of existence. That is a fact.

This was me Five years ago, but today, I will fly abroad at any given job.
