Politics › Re: Uniform For Lagos Commercial Bus-Drivers & Conductors by hardbody: 10:43am On May 14, 2013
I pity passengers oo. Let us even analyze it this way. THose drivers and conductors work till close to midnight, they get to park their buses and either sleep inside them or at the garage and this is after having taken enough epetesi and paraga plus chairman, monkey tail and awapa. After which they sleep with the cloths they have on them (you call it uniform so be it). They wake up next morning as early as 4.30am and start shouting yaba yaba yaba yaba yabaaaaa, etc. Then they repeat the same process everyday and every night from Monday till friday and partly on saturday and sunday. When will they find time to wash the 'miniform'?

Una go fear putrid smell na....

People will be falling sick on the basis of typhoid because of inhalation of terrible agbalagba odour.

Truth is we havent gotten there yet.

Errrhhmmm, GOWON means Go -On-With-One-Nigeria.

He fought alongside the fulani herdsmen to slaughter innocent women, men and children for the sake of one Nigeria and he is from Plateau. What was it again about nemesis? anyways, what goes round comes round. And i thank the Lord that it is hapening in his Life time.

As for the bereaved, what can i say?

Hope they aren't another insurgents that need amnesty?
Another insurgents willing to give Nigeria amnesty just the way BH has turned down your amnesty offer saying they are the ones to grant Nigeria amnesty. This country is doomed.

Romance › Re: I Cheated On My Boyfriend With A Married Man - Please Advise by hardbody: 3:42pm On May 13, 2013
ogugua88: No, you truly don't understand. If you're cheating with a married man, then you don't understand. Put yourself in the man's wife shoes. If they have children, put yourself in their shoes as well. Then, consider the implications of all of them finding out.
We get it. There are men who cheat. There are married men who cheat. That's a fact of life. However, just because he wants to be stupid doesn't mean you should follow him and be stupid. If you have any self-worth, then you wouldn't stoop so low.

I didn't misunderstand you. You said you cheated on your partner with a married man and took a break from your current boyfriend. I don't think it gets any more explicit than that. What is there to reevaluate? You don't love your boyfriend if you're hiding this from him and telling yourself you've fallen in love with another woman's husband.

If you have no intention of stealing someone else's husband, then cut your ties with him and face your own partner. I know what you or anyone else will say. "It's not that simple". Of course it's not that simple. Why? For one of two reasons. Either because you don't know what you want, or because you want the two of them simultaneously.

Make your choice. The options are actually crystal clear.
You are right and most times really you are spot on.

However, i dislike your high moral standing especially when one has admitted to being in error and is more or less seeking help (as it were).

Admitting to a crime is one thing, seeking to make amends is another. that is why in law we have what they call 'Plea of Allocutus'. It allows a judge to look at the circumstances, your demeanour, mien and carriage in the course of the trial and determine how remorseful you are or have become and may then choose to temper justice with mercy. Please cut this OP a slack. She needs help not vituperative darts of words.

And by the way, i am assuming this post is true and correct. I have reasons to believe it is basically a farce. However my opinion would not have changed either way.

You may wish to know however that judges are the ones empowered under the law to pronounce death sentence on people and they do this on behalf the state meaning you and I and that also explains why do not easily pass death sentences. Finally, the chief Executive of the state is the only person that signs the death warrant . Just so you learn.

Bros, i feel you but i am sure some form of understanding could have been reached whereby the civic responsibility could have been carried out before the court's sitting or after the court has risen. You all are missing the point. When a court is in session, absolute quiet is what is expected, infact it is not allowed for passing vehicles to blare their horn. If caught disturbing the proceedings by your noise making, it is actually contempt and you could be so docked to purge you of that contempt.

Infact I travelled during the weekend of Jamb exams and considering there was an exam centre at my place, I saw this massive influx of young boys and girls all milling around, and guess where? spawnx: It all amounts to nothing if you aint got CHRIST!!!
Cheap SHOT. Christ is key, but try getting only Christ and losing out on all the other things. It comes home clearer everyday the saying that religion is the opium of the masses. You are being reminded of steps to take to make life easier for you and your own, and rather than evaluate yourself based on those, you are introducing the 'Christ' twist to it. You guys will never stop amazing me. Later now when you start wallowing in Penury, you will say it is GEJ or OBJ or whoever is in power then that is the cause of your abject poverty.

Jah Man: 1. Drivers License – whether you need a car or not?
2. Personal Cheque Book – what if you operate savings only and these days of electronic banking my cheque book is just a waste of money.
3. A Billionaire Friend – how many ‘clean’ billionaires do we have in my country – Nigeria?
4. Personal Savings – How much is acceptable as savings? My last child has hundreds of thousands already in his account.
5. Wife – happy with her or just because society demands that?
6. International Passport – what if I have no need of travelling outside my dear country? I mean I can spend my vacations in Obudu and co and do online courses or have the trainers come over.
7. Car – what if my office is in my house, my coy provides transport and I really don’t want to drive in ‘crazy’ Lagos? Car is needful here though.
8. Land – do what with it? In my village? In Lagos? Where?
9. HNI Club Membership – what is your definition of a high net worth individual? I have them in my church, no need of a club.
10. Registered Company – if I am in business yes. What if I am an employee?
Fine response. Recipe for poverty has just been itemized by you. I wish you well.
