grin grin grin grin grin

all i see is employees advicing a young and aspring business man

@OP the major Nigerian mentality which is negetive is that in your teens you are supposed to be spent hugging mom and dad, and thats why we see 40 year olds graduates still living with their mum and Dad.

Follow your heart Bro, dont take loans any how, do your homework well before going into any business, if your mind is not into school then you wont make in school.

I personally was not a degree addict i followed my dreams and today i have no regrets

forget all this Education is this education is that, education is good but it is overhyped, we have people (graduates) roaming the streets cause they were forced into school by this same education is Heaven advice, so look before you leap

the same people who praise education today wont give you a job tomorrow
run your business and if you still need school , go part time.
You may be making a point but what statistics do you have to back this up? Off the cuff, where do we have the higher majority, literate people without jobs or illiterates without jobs? Please answer me truthfully. Something else you may never know, if you had gone to school, your supposed achievements today would have been a stepping stone to where you would have been believe me. Again you may never understand because you let the opportunity pass you by.

ehvez: Aԁvicе For An Aѕрiring Young Еntrерrеnеur

please i need advice
Am a young guy of 17 years but seriously in love with business i want to forfeit my education to further my interest in business.my problem is my capital am thinking about getting a loan from the bank with the land and house my late mum left 4 us i.e me and my sis.but i dont know if i should go ahead with this.
Young man, go to school and acquire basic university education. It will open your eyes beyond the vistas as seen by your contemporaries who refused to go to school and started making money early. If you are not careful, you will make all the money now and fritter the entire thing away. There are very few illiterates that made good money and you can not compare their achievements with literate and educated folks who made the same amount of money over the same time period.

As someone also posted earlier, at your age, no bank will give you money no matter the collateral you produce except you provide a guardian ad litem. that your guardian will be your undoing. So listen to good advise and go to school. It is not by mistake that dangote wanted to employ graduate drivers for his trucks, he has seen that the graduate driver, barber, seller, whatever is miles ahead of his illiterate colleague in terms of thought processing and therefore deliverables. Think, if you cannot, borrow a brain.

You must have been born post Amodu era. or you were to small to understand what Amodu was doing. Another explanation could be that you guys never owned a television set and you were never allowed to either watch or follow football commentaries.

Uyi Iredia: The compensation demanded is outrageous. The case is against them as they'll have to explain how a large arms cache found its way to their property without their knowledge. Maybe the suit is to save face.
That is my take on this too.

However, as a democratic government running constitutionally, they will go on with their suit, but if i was advising the federal government, i will quickly arraign them for several offences including treason, they will be very fortunate to come out alive.

Having said that, Nigeria is on its own a peculiar case. I will not put it past some people to have put those guys there as stooges and moles and thereby using them to pepetrate their selfish and clandestine crimes. If this is true, then those people using them as agents will definitely make a way for them and all the touted search and trial will be a farce as usual.

I am shaking my head for this country.

chaircover: Unfortunately in this particular situation there is no balance. The poster clearly wants to keep her marriage, while hubby has one leg in and one leg out and may be looking for any alleged "cockkup" from his wife as an excuse to run off so we need to be mindful of the advise that we give her.

If the poster is no longer interested in the marriage, then that is a different thing and the advise is easy. Pack your bag and go. But the poster wants to keep her marriage and so asking her to go on separation, issue ultimatums, report the lover to her own husband etc may cause further damage and may be the excuse that the man is looking for to finally go off with his lover and when we close our laptops we get on with out lives, and it is the poster who is going to deal with all this on her own.

This is an emotional relationship rather than a physical one and it is going to be much harder to untangle the man from her. The poster has already humiliated him at work, reported him to his family, threatened the lover but he is still not letting go of his lover

I put my hand up and say I dont really know what to advise someone on how to cajole a man who is in love with another woman to suddenly severe the love between them and carry on functioning like nothing happened. My understanding is that they both work in the same office so that makes it even harder. You can force him, but as you have seen he will just learn better methods of keeping it away from the wife.

Since you have decided to work at this, the only thing I can suggest is that you pray that God touches him. I wouldn't waste energy embarking on more fights eg with the girl because until your husband wakes up one morning and is really truly ready to disentangle himself from this woman no amount of talking, fighting, reporting etc will stop him from loving her and it is the love he has for her that is clouding his better judgement and has made him throw his vows into the wind.

I really feel for you and I hope that he comes back to his senses soon. All the best.
For once madam, you had nothing to advise on a topic. This must be very very serious oo. Now i am really sorry for the OP. If a whole madam chaircover cannot fathom what advise to give, except the Lord intervenes, this case has gone past redemption. Lord please have mercy at least for the sake of the children who may suffer enstrangement if these two adults decide to pack it up. Lord you know i am not too strong spritually but i publicly confess that my heart is touched and may you hear our cries and help this woman so that her marriage will start flourishing all over again. Help her to find the joy that she sought in getting into matrimony.

slymm: @lamaroscar, there you go prescribing one pastor from a particular church. Gerraway from here. People like you and their obsession with their pastors irritate me. I have adviced the op as best as I can, there is no marriage counselling here, women and men are told to endure the crazy institution known as marriage. Let her talk to her husband, she married the man did she not? I am sure they can both work their way back to love and trust again.
And if the man refuses to budge, sister, i have a big and strong shoulder where you can lay your head. I will always understand, i always do...(that is for the OP)

Sadly that affair may never end
I know a lady here that was in the same situation
Her husband tried his best but could never let go of the other woman no matter how hard he claimed to love his wife
They went through counseling,he promised to be faithful but kept going back to the same woman
They would lose communication for a few months but then resume and continue from where they stopped
She is now divorced from her husband because she couldn't take it anymore, the husband is shattered by the divorce and didn't want to be divorced from her but at the same time cannot let go of the bond with his mistress.

It does not make him a mole, it makes him a man with a conscience.

Ofcourse the FG will deny. We have to realise that the innocents are far more than the guilty.
So what are the options. Allow BH to continue unleashing terror on the innocent victims and gradually gaining access to other parts of the country and eventually unsettle the country for good?

I can assure you that the guy being interviewed is not even Nigerian let alone a soldier. And if you were in his shoes, you probably will not even be selected for that assault because your mien would have given you away ahead of the operation.

Education › Re: Police Kill & Bury Uniben Student Unjustly by hardbody: 10:51am On Jun 01, 2013
osaman2011: When will police brutality end in Nigeria?
This 22 years old young man was gunned down in Benin city by the DPO of Ogida Barack Police Station.

Ibrahim, who celebrated his 22nd birthday on March 30th, was a part-time student of SLT in University of Benin (Uniben) and was doing his IT in a Pharmaceutical company in Benin City.

Ibrahim was the only son of his parents who live at No.1 Egbeobauwaye street off Siluko road, behind Edo Omo park in Benin City, Edo State.

The DPO, who is a woman, first said that the deceased was an armed robber and that she saw him with a gun which she couldn't produce as evidence and when she saw that the family wants proof, she said it was a result of a mistaken identity.

After shooting the innocent young man, the DPO buried the dead body of the young man without informing his family.
Residents in the area complain about the DPO's brutality and attitude, stating that she is always on the side of the highest bidder.

The family got to know about their son's death when his mother went to report her missing son at the Textile Mill road police station.
The matter has been taken to court and the state commissioner of police, Mr Foluso Adebanjo, was informed about the incident. He promised to look into the matter and plead for calm while he unravel the mischief behind the unprofessional attitude of the DPO.

May his soul rest in peace!
Another reason God will bless the ombatse cult for deleting a number of the policemen.it's sad for the family of the deceased. May they be consoled.

albridge: When a mans trust in his wife is betrayed by her having affairs with other men and he caught her red handed with a man on top of her should he still stay married to her or divorce her? Is there a place for christian forgiveness in such a case?
Must the man be on top of her? Does it matter who is on top and who is below or the style and position you caught her on?. If the position does not matter then it adds nothing to the question. To the answer, forgiveness is a prerogative of the hurt party, to forgive or not to forgive will depend on what the man feels and this could also be further dependent on what he expects and the possibility of a repeat. I am aware however that the law and the holy book allows a hurt party to sue for a divorce on grounds of adultery. However, the hurt party should know that once he resumes knacking the adulteress, even if it is only once, he has waived his right to divorce on grounds of adultery.

I think i will forgive an adulterous wife. I will rationalize that there is something i have not done right which might have led her into it, we will work together towards resolving and ensuring it does not happen again.
