Wrong. I once took a girl on a first date to a hotel, and we screwed.
I also took some other lady on a first date (it was her birthday) to a strip club and we spent some three hours and headed back to a hotel, the rest of what happened is history. In both cases, they were to know what they were entering into and both parties were in sync from the first moment.

Whatever rocks your boat guy, dont generalize. Now you have knocked off all the places to go to including your house, so where da fok are you guys heading, abyss?

Akshow: typical black belle bring them down mentality. I bet you wont be sayin this if your uni is among the best five. If you dont appreciate and value your things, who will do that for you?
Dummy please open your eyes and read with understanding. I mentioned here that i was both in Unilag and Unical for various degree programmes and both Unis are ranked in the silly list. It does not satisfy me in anyway because i know the rubbish that is being churned out now from all those schools. I recruit a lot of the misfits coming out of those 30 dead universities and several more not listed here. It is not about 'black belle' as you couched it, it is about being frank and realistic.

On this, i do not know what to say. I am however certain that it never could have happened in a public University, not when i can even decide never to attend the lecture at all. And God punish the lecturer that will try anything funny, boyz will count his days for him, even the VC no fit dare...

Anyways, i tend to agree that when you choose a thing, you live with its repercussions.

Enough said.

i can quite relate with your post. i was in charge of site validation for a particulat telecom giant and in my own case, i was always away from Tuesday to Saturday every week. I attend update meetings on Sunday with all the guys in site acquisition, On Monday, i draft and sign of my Legal documents for the sites acquired, validated and to be paid for and on Tuesday, I am out of Lagos again. I virtually accessed every village in the south west, south south and south east. I have gone through the water from Yenagoa to Port Harcout, having gone to all the Tengele Amah towns, oluasiri, Nembe, Sangana,Amasoma. etc etc. It was fun for me then but after a while, i resigned because of the high risk involved. The double engine boat i chartered from Port Harcourt warterside to developed engine problems and we almost lost our bearing in the open sea, i was shot at on the expressway going from Port Harcourt to Enugu (back to back)....Money was coming in though...

devour129: if you all in Lagos are waiting for traffic to ease wont the traffic continue when you all hit the road ? Just thinking out loud
People like you will hit the road between 5-7pm and spend like 3 hours getting home at about 10pm.

The rest of us chill at the closest joint or when i am able to, drive down to ikoyi club, nurse a maximum of 2 bottles, its 9.30pm, i hit the road, power home and get there just 15minutes later than you.

Advantages:

i save fuel
i have lesser stress
lower risk of attacks by those guys in traffic
i connect with boys over a few drinks and look at new biz opportunities
The list is endless

if u need staff were exactly do u go.
i have been looking for pple to work in my bakery and cant seem to find any.
tips if u have one pls
For bakers, you may need to head hunt or poach or better still, get some people off the street and train them. Bakery is not what any person wants to send in a CV for, at least not in these parts.

not only convectional rain that would be falling, in state like Osun, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti, cyclonic rain would be so much in dis zone because N.W Trade Wind and S.E Trade Wind would be meeting at this zone. In the month of September, convectional rail will start in dis zone as excess sunshine would tend to evaporate aboundant water on the surface.
Orographic rain will be combating Lagos and Ogun state as sea breeze would be moving fr d coast down the continent.
All these state should prepare for heavy rain this year (although heavy rain is a sign of Blessing).

LondyC: I think the problem with most christians is that we are still trying so hard to justify ourselves by our own righteousness which is gotten by obeying the law. So since the law says 'do not commit adultery' not 'do not kiss' then we feel justified to do the things which were not clearly stated. This was why God had to send Jesus to die for us because He saw that the Law could not make us holy. We are now in the new covenant which is written in our hearts by the blood of Jesus. We are now Baptized into Jesus and the Holyspirit dwells within us. 2nd Corinthians 3v6
If you are kissing, your mind can't be clean in the process. It's not just about whether it is right or wrong but about what it does to you. It stirs up lustful wishes and that is not healthy for either of you as christians. This is why Romans 12v2 says we should continuously renew our minds because what we think has a great effect on what we do. So many christians claim to be virgins but that is just physically, in their minds, they've done and undone all manner of sexual acts. This is why Jesus didn't just say 'don't commit adultery' but 'don't even think about it' because if you habour such thoughts, you are as guilty as the person who actually did it. Let your conscience be your judge.
If thinking of adultery and fornication is as guilty as the real act, let just then go ahead and keep committing it, so that I will know exactly what I am being punished for. Some interpretation indeed.

I met this girl late last year and my intention was made known to her.

She told me dat she has a boyfriend and that i should give her time to think over it.

Its getting to four months and she is yet to giv me any reply. The funny thing is that her family assumes dat we already on date including my own family. Obviously i love her with my whole heart and am willing 2 settle down with her.

My question now is how long are you willing to wait before a girl can say yes to your proposal.

Please i need your advice. We keep in touch almost everyday. Actually am ready to wait until she is ready to yes but what i cant tell is if she is just playing along or what.
If i ask you once, the next time, you are th one asking me how soon am i completing the deal. I will never EVER broach it again. When you are ready, you will revert. I just hope it will not be late then.
