God bless this Ombatse people. For once they have shown the Fulani cattle rearers that no one has the sole right and priviledge to violence. May they (Ombatse) continue to kill them (Fulani) in swarms. |
xynerise: 8 died, 8 injured in Anambra auto crashMehhnn, and i know that road oo, very smooth and sweet road. I erroneously used it in december when i was trying to link up Onitsha from Ihiala coming through Orlu-nkwere road. That road is asmooth as okro and you could easily be doing 180km/h without feeling the drive. Its a pity for the bereaved. |
What does KK mean, Ku-Klux?? |
Should there not be a head count or census before the next elections so that we can have a fairly correct estimate of adults taht will entitled to universal suffrage at the next election. From what i can see, the North will be so terribly depleted that their votes will no longer count whether for or against. |
Ucheaaron: http://dailytrust.com.ng/index.php/top-stories/55080-insecurity-buhari-asks-jonathan-to-resignThis man should be arrested and tried for inciting the populace and also for attempting to overthrow the government of the day. Then a decree should be put in place and back dated (the same way he did with idiagbon) and then he will be sentenced to death by firing squad. The execution to be carried out in his village in Daura. I can now confirm without any fear of contradiction that he is a BH himself in addition to being a financier. I won't say more for now. They wanted to make the country ungovernable for GEJ and promised that blood will flow, really blood is flowing but presently it is happening up country and the country appears ungovernable but particularly from the Northern parts. We shall overcome. I however see a protracted and maybe guerilla warfare taking shape with these baboons now going to hide in the Adamawa highlands. I now regret why GEJ did not run them over from inception. |
Brilliance9000: Let me state first, that I do not condone the pouring of acid on her by the Boyfriend. However, for a guy to do such a thing, he must have invested so much into the relationship; and for most people its difficult to let go. I bet he had given her so much. Typical of Nigerian women...I will continue to eat your money, your time, have you suspend your future plans for me, but when I find someone else, I have the right to dump you when and how I want. WOMEN...be careful of who you date. If you don't like a man, say it at the outset and let him go peacefully and happilly; they are other women out there that need him. Don't try to waste his time and money. You wake up one morning you just tell him it's over...what the fu$ck? What do you expect him to do if he has invested so much into you? Even if you must do this, there are slow and deliberate ways to ease yourself from someone you have known for years and you know they love you. Slowly do it and before time, you both will lose attraction and break up. Don't just do it outright...it hurts badly.I can only but agree with you fully. It is called tactical withdrawal. And when the card is played well, the opposite partner without knowing it will be very glad to leave the relationship. |
All you guys goading the MASSOB and taunting them, did you ever read of the peaceful clamor of Mahatmah ghandi? He achieved without towing the part of violence. Violence only begets more violence without resolving the issues on ground.new are urbane in igbomland and very willing to tackle issues without allowing the state apparatii to chase us into adamawa highlands . At least we have been there before, first fool no be fool, second fool na proper fool. Apologies to Michael okpara |
Gbawe: Because Uduaghan does not give a damn. He will most likely have her locked up. Man mi, she knows what she is doing travelling all that way. By her thinking, someone will help her in Lagos. Imagine all the States she ignored to come to Lagos. Why did she not go to Bayelsa, the home State of Mr.President, even if Abuja is too far? Fashola, regardless of the noise on this forum, is the de-facto President in the minds of many Nigerians. If Fashola were to help her, would it be his personal money or money from the state coffers? if it is money from the state coffers who are the tax payers? Let us rationalize these thoughts before penning them down. Generally her chances of getting help in Lagos is brighter because there are more people at any given point who have more financial muscle than her people in her rural delta state. She has her strategy right and it may just work for her |
.... YOU ARE A BIG LIER... THIS IS NOT AN ACT OF GOD!! aba... Ow could you lie against God... U better watch the things that come out of your mouth.....
.....Another small boy that does not know what'Act of God means..... And he wont shut up and learn, that is the saddest part |
Imanuelle: better to die eating chicken and red wine,Look at the pic of those people again and re-read what you wrote. Some people pretend that living outside of Nigeria is all cozy and beautiful. A fraction of Nigerians are more affluent and feed better than your chicken eating and red wine drinking folks. Do not let us join issues on where the money is coming from. Folks like me work very hard for every kobo i make and spend. I can understand if you were struggling before you mortgaged whatever you could to get to your promised land, but hey, we all did not have to and still do not have to struggle to make ends meet. The scenario you created is very possible and indeed exists, but it does not cut across all Nigerians. Just get that straight. |
Ptimes: The Senate on Tuesday approved the State of Emergency declared by President Goodluck Jonathan in Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe States. What was teh price tag, how much was shared or promised in the closed-door meeting. The Nigeria I know, some people will just appear belligerent so tha they will be settled. You may never know all that really transpired. As they say, 'Let assume that everything that bit at night was a mosquitoe. That way, we woun't ask too many question' |
Numero uuuno: With the nations patheticMust you ascribe everything negative to this country? How does what has just happened affect the judiciary? From what i read, they said the proprietor was handed over to the police, do you have judges or even magistrates sitting at police stations? has the guy been charged to court? Can you learn the rudiments of how some processes work before you start typing 'rabbish'? As a principle, i do not comment on every thread or post especially if i do not know next to nothing about what to say or where i have no comment or opinion. That is the most mature thing to do. Stop parading ignorance, it belittles you. And this is assuming you have any substance. by the way, teh offence is bailable, so do not complain when the guy gets bail within 24 hours. it is his constitutional right. |
feelamong: EFCC should better leave that guy alone and go to Abuja to arrest those looting our common wealth! Why would they not register in one room office when JAMB has consistently refused to grant them admission while those spaces are being sold to highest bidders. I am not in any way saying that fake unis should be allowed to thrive but there is always a root cause to almost all negative things. Attack the root cause and the effect will be appropriately dealt with. |
yuzedo: Still offer Nigerians visa to Oklahoma/USA and 9/10 will scramble for it like say na gold!Bros i tire oo |
One of my uncles got so drunk one day and I saw him standing by the roadside, it was during December festivities and I called him and said uncle enter the car and let's go, he said I should be going that he is waiting for his house to come so that he will enter, that other people's houses were passing by. I later realized he was referring to cars driving through as houses. We later mobilized with my cousins and forcefully threw him inside the car and held him down till we took him home. This man died about 3 years ago and yes, he was a perpetual drunk till when he died. |
gluv01: I haven't read that book. I can't remember the name of the only book I read by Achebe. My aunty told us the story in Nigeria back in 2009. (tales by moonlight)Well, your aunty got it from Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. Now you know. Cheers. |
Some nice tie in the background
Badt guy, I thought I was the only person that saw those flamboyant ties..lol |
Pipsland78: I think they should accept the amnesty right away and the government should consider forgiving them because they are humans like us.If I hear.... They claimed it is them that should give us amnesty, we are waiting for the offer. Until then, the pounding continues. |
gluv01: Long ago, Ear was a beautiful woman, and she was looking for bridegroom so that she can get married. She was approached by big and small creatures. All kinds of creatures expressed their love towards her. The mosquito was also interested in asking for her hand, but Ear refused to entertain the mosquito, and spoke sarcastically that the mosquito is weak and will die within a week. So the mosquito was hurt by her comments. From that day onwards the mosquito goes to the ear and says that it has not died, but is still alive. You took it out of my mouth or hands. But acknowledge Chinua Achebe in Things fall Apart where the story was taken. |
Kingslaw:The money don go, na insurance go pay. |
I have saved a space. Let me analyze the situation and i will be back with a well thought out position |
komek: Most of us are not really getting the topic right. It says what's the most ridiculous bride price u have ever heard. Now we have started dishing out everything needed to carry out a marriage, eg lists that follows a bride price and sum everything like the cost of transportation to the bride village, canopies, chairs, food, cloth, even money for fuel in your car etc up to 1m-5m. I just collected 2k as bride price from an inlaw last weekend just becos my kinsmen insisted and 90k for the other things. And the young man was so grateful. It was 90k because I don't want to look like I am going against the laws of the land. Pls parents, help the young men like us cos this lists are scary. And it making us look irresponsible..God bless you my brother. At least i have someone that can read and understand. The OP was talking about bride price and not bride list. |
goldfish80: Mr English speaker,if your IQ wasnt the square root of 1,you would Have known the bride prize being discussed here is the cummulative List issued by the brides. Kinsmen. As people Have been listing on this thread items such as 60tubbers of yam, wrappers, even cars.... Kapish?Bros, i hate to join issues with retards. The fact you are not able to draw a disticntion between bride price and bride list should not be my problem, for the same reason you continualy came first from the bottom of your class. OP talked about bride price not a list and if the whole world should decide to read and interprete a clear term in a different manner does not mean i should do the same. If the OP wanted to talk about a marriage price list, i am certain she would have been that specific and i would have addressed it differently. What i have just written is not rocket science so get off my back and learn to read and comprehend. Please see another egg head posting below. The fact we are all here does not necessarily mean we have the same level of IQ. The joke is now on you. Considering you are a dummy, i have included the definition of an egg head egghead [ˈɛgˌhɛd] n Informal an intellectual; highbrow |
Evestar200: dats my profile pix,,bt dont bother dear,,am getting married to a ghanaian few yrs timeEhhhmmm, i had to go and look at that profile picture and i must assure you that your dad will pay and beg me to consider marrying you. And.....WTF....Again do not take it personal. |
blaqoracle: i am facing a quagmire. please help me tell who is more heartless; a boko haram and one mr chimezie who used his mother for ritual and kept it in cupboard for ten years! which is more heartless.I will pull you out of the quagmire if you can tell me between a doctor and an economist whose fatal mistake will affect more people the most. Pls note that a doctor treats one person at a time, economists come up with policies that affect the whole nation of 160million people. I am believing you have the brain power to reason this out |
Don Demu: An eye witness said the divisional police station is on fire and that he witnessed three police officers removing their uniforms while running from the station.sharrap. which eye witness |
May God have pity on our enemies because we will not. We have sought for peace, our enemies have demanded for war, we have no choice than to give them what they asked for |
solopumpy227: Oh Lord take control...civil war is not an option now...Civil war with who and amongst whom? War had been on going for a while now, its just that the war is being fought only in the Northern part of the country with a sprinkling of other 'nationalities' being killed in the course of the war. The will rage and end up north. Nothing to fear. |
payless: BittenLOL....Use of English 101 |
konn: my sister wrote jamb but the computer said she was absent we have gone to their office several times with a prove that she sat for the exam they said she should just wait for next year pls what do we do?Your sister na foreign body, computer no recognize her. But on a serious note, why are we such a nation of jokers |
chidindufrank: I don't think that it was Aboyomi's fault with respect to the ambush that led to the death of his men. It was an unforeseen event and therefore, I want to state it clearly that I exonerated the man Abayomi of any blame here. Ambush is ambush and could just happen to anyone no matter how smart and intelligent you are. I stand to be corrected .if your thought on this issue is otherwise, please don't insult me by calling me any name just go straight to the point and school me. I repeat. Mr Abayomi should not be blamed. Ambush na ambush dey no dey give u notice say dey won ambush u hohaOk bros. Since you have started by begging that you should not be called names, i will refrain from doing that, otherwise there was a name i wanted to give you.See ehn, in every assault, you consider three major things: the attacking process, the flanking (which will effectively cut out ambushing)and most importantly your exit (or withdrawal) strategy. The best way to avoid falling into an ambush is always to use a decoy. Send out intelligence information on the D-day and H-hour that you want to advance on the attack, make sure you move before that day and hour, secondly make a decoy ofthe route you intend to use, and make sure that in reality you use a different route. Even in all these, carry out reconaissance (recce) to ensure that you have not been outsmarted. Itis also important to try and get enemy information throough intelligence gathering which is mostly acquired through the means of infiltration.... That will do for now. I have forgotten that the police are not trained otherwise than in the duty of collecting N20 |
