COOLDUN: Thank you my dear. The woman in question holds one of the most sensitive and important posts in the Bayelsa State. How can a Permanent Secretary of a state be out of her office for about a month or more without her situation made known to her people? Why do we Nigerians triberlize every important issues like this? How is the health situation of the first lady and the Perm Sec of a state be held incommunicado? And you blame people who ask questions. I welcome every reasonable question and not any mockery ones because no one owns his/her health or life. We should be very cautious when we comment on other peoples' health because no one knows when it's going to be his/her turn. I wish her a speedy recovery. This is the best time for her to be more closer to her creator. Because doctors only cure, but only God heals.
When last the ultimate authority - GEJ said anything, he told us the wife went to rest. I believe my presido and no other. Unless he tells me something different, Dame Jonathan, to the best of my belief is on bed rest and nothing more, so no need to speculate or pray for her except to Rest In Peace

nagoma: All killing of human beings is evil and we must fight against it. I know how overjoyed some of you are that Boko Haram is killing northerners. But this particular massacre is due to student unionism and both the killers and the victims are students of the same institution belonging to different factions. I know that this will reduce your enjoyment and celebration but you have to learn to deal with facts instead of misleading and hateful assumptions. I feel the pains inflicted by BH more than you do and I cannot be a supporter of such murderers.
Too bad we are both sitting behind screens, i would have killed you ten times over with my bare hands, ediot. May the death of those youths haunt and punish your generation including the ones yet unborn. May you never see good all the days of your life and may you die a terribly violent death, together with all your family. Since the death and massacre of innocent people mean nothing to you, may you and your entire generation end up same way

Romance › Re: I Hate When I See Nigerian Girls Drink Or Smoke! by hardbody: 2:39pm On Oct 02, 2012
The cultures practiced in Nigeria is so beautiful that smoking and drinking isn't part of it, esp for ladies. No sane man will prefer a lady that smokes or drinks except if he's on a 'change-mission' or maybe seeking a fling. In as much as we don't know their backgrounds or reasons-behind, we shouldn't be too quick to judge but help people change.
All my female friends that used to drink and smoke are all married now. I am looking at how best to explain it or reconcile it with the posts here. Life is for the living, if some persons decide they wanna smoke, it is their life, if others wanna drink themselves to stupor, still their life. There are those who still love them for who they are, perhaps it is perception. Whatever it is though, I have no basis or reason for judging what people do with their lives, for starters, it is theirs.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Similarities Between Football And Job by hardbody: 8:04pm On Sep 29, 2012
Similarity, like football, in your job you get paid for doing what you get a kick and fun doing. If the job is not fun, and there are no fresh challenges, you soon have disatisfaction, and performance will dwindle, after a while, the system may flush you out, typical of an organized football club

Car Talk › Re: LASTMA Fighting Passengers And Driver At Obanikoro Bus-stop by hardbody: 3:03pm On Sep 29, 2012
sentix: This happened yesterday and I sent a message to the provost of LASTMA but has refused to do anything about it

A gang of lastma officers are currently fighting passengers at obanikoro bus stop in front of zenith bank collecting the key from the driver and driving the bus dangerously almost causing an accident.

They were lead by one olawaye g who wears a coat of arm as rank insignia.

Their vehicle with reg no ep 285 app is marked mile 12 to cms monitoring task force. Lastma officers should take note of this lawlessness. A guy who warned the lastma not to drive the bus was promptly arrested and driven away.

Pls forward

This is why I always celebrate when the soldiers start beating those thugs. Stewpid rogues who have been empowered by the state to steal, extort and destroy.what right do they have to arrest a bystander who has only directed them not to take the law into their hands? May they all die some shameful death. Eediots.

Car Talk › Re: What To Do If You See A Pothole At 100km/hr Speed Or Above? by hardbody: 6:36pm On Sep 28, 2012
Just drive regularly, all those tips put above will come to you naturally when you see the pothole. The decision for me will be dependent on the circumstance, i could stride, i could slow down and take it, i could swerve to my right (i mostly swerve to the right because overtaking vehicles if any should normally do that from my left) and most importantly, i am consistently viewing the cars behind me through all my three mirrors so i can almost certainly determine and judge distances within a couple of 5 seconds or even less.

For the past more than 10yrs, even as a growing adult, i have been driving from Lag to the East every December and some times during easter and new yam festival so i should know.

Pukkah: Jonathan's handling of interviews is usually weak, lack-lustre and bland. He lacks erudition and talks without passion. Yet, he's supposed to be a former lecturer and a doctorate degree holder. Above all, he's supposed to be a leader.

Any wonder he could not assemble a star-studded cabinet with strict performance indicators? One of the clueless Ministers even said the Federal Government had done its best on the floods in the North Central region. What a country!
Which rustic secondary school was he teaching? I can inagine the quality ofthe graduates of any such school or at least the courses he took. So shameful. Shagari as a Headmaster in Shagari Village did better than this shoeless and clueless fisherman. Is there a relationship between being clueless and shoelesshuh
Bro, been a lawyer doesn't guarantee intelligency. Fashola may be in my fifth position. Like i said, state your order.
English grammar does not know what 'intelligency' means. 'Been' a lawyer is also not english, at least not in the context that you have used it. Based on both technical grounds, i think you need to reconsider your qualification to even ask the questions you have posed above. And for the records, i am a lawyer.

A private jet never was and never could be an asset, you must be a dimwit to even start thinking that way. Do you know the cost of keeping one in a hanger and the cost of routine maintenance? Meanwhile, it is generally parked until the hop-head wants to use it. The cost of aviation fuel nko? these church robbers are really stealing you guys blind and as blind men, y'll see nada. till next eternity, i shall NOT contribute to that level of depravity by so called men of God.
