Christianity Etc › Re: Visions Of EARTHQUAKE Coming To Nigeria. by hardbody: 5:17pm On Oct 13, 2012
annyplenty: Dear Friends,
EARTHQUAKE is coming to Nigeria.

GOD has shown me the vision of EARTHQUAKE coming to Nigeria for several times. Each time I see this vision, after I would pray a lot concerning it, but it would come with an increasing severity and urgency. The last time I saw this vision. I was told that the vision is not for me to keep but to go and warn Nigeria/Nigerians to repent before God would make the judgment come to reality and I saw myself calling Nigerians to repentance even where they stood speechless after the quake.

In January 2012, God showed me massive flood coming to Nigeria several times. He showed me an hurricane and even overflowing river. The vision was so disturbing that I would begin to cry from the vision to reality. In one instance, an hurricane was pursuing me and I was shouting God is angry with Nigeria as I ran. I was only able to post it on my facebook that people should pray about flood, hurricane and overflowing rivers. Shortly after that an hurricane happened in Lagos on February 13. I was shocked when the major newspapers in Nigeria reported it on their front-pages as HURRICANE Lagos. Now that I have seen the ravaging flood in Nigeria. I know God means more than what I thin

Now God has been passing this warning of earthquake and has instructed me to pass it across that we should repent. If we repent quickly, both individually and as a nation and turn away from sins, then GOD will avert it. We must repent of shedding bloods of innocents, sexual immoralities, idolatery, and all SINs at large.

These are the signs that MESSIAH (JESUS) is coming very soon. Repent and be saved. Shalom.

If you are on this side of the divide, please take a strong anti malaria, I understand that this season is bad for malaria bc of the waters, rains and over flooding. A lot of mosquitoes are being bred. Try ACT combinations.

I don't mind Liberia doing all the playing, while 9ja does all the scoring, goals determine the best side in football, always.

But that is who we are, do we ever take things of national importance serious? Ask the Bakassi indigenes.
Career › Re: Bank Employees Must Pay Millions If Sacked Early by hardbody: 11:30pm On Oct 12, 2012
@Wallie, you have all the time in this world, honestly. I am a lawyer, and I learnt this basic principle of contract in restraint of trade and had since posted a position that in Nigerian Law, that contract will either not be litigated or will fail woefully on grounds of public policy. The problem with sissy kill and indeed the average Nigerian is that we know it all and would argue with professionals in fields that are alien to us. I even indicated that Globacom bonded some of us after trainings abroad and we walked away and nothing has happened more than 7 years after. Citing authorities here will not make the numbed brains to jerk back to life. If you go into the mechanics of a jet engine, I will not argue based on my little knowledge acquired studying physics, but in NL, people must post rubbish to argue with facts that have since been determined by courts of competent jurisdiction and those cases used as precedents over time.

Career › Re: Bank Employees Must Pay Millions If Sacked Early by hardbody: 4:21pm On Oct 12, 2012
sharp man: Guy,

The OP did not mislead anyone. You'll still pay if you are sacked just that what you will pay is 'for the unutilized portion of the stipulated Two (2) years, the pro-rated cost of the training programme plus interest at the prevailing bank rate.'

....and this particular bank is Union Bank, i guess they copied it from Access Bank.

I'm not sure if we have this in Nigeria but in some jurisdictions, there's what is called the 'Unfair Contract Terms Act'. Any unfair term in a contract is null and void but i don't think we have this in our Nigerian legal system.
Yes we do. But is better to use it as a shield rather than a sword. It means that the courts will almost always interprete the bond as being contrary to public policy because it is in 'restraint of trade'. However, rather than sue the Bank, let them sue you on the basis of that Bond and you can challenge it on grounds of unreasonableness. That is exactly why the banks cannot or rather will not take you to court on that bond. Infact i encourage people to sign off on it if that is the only snag between you and a paid employment, and let the courts decide on it at the appropriate time. Adenuga of Globacom used it on us, did it work? NO

Ol boy, to carry human being like you put for house, change her name to your own, she begin dey produce juniors for you, you sef become manager of people especially that special breed called 'woman'. If you do all of these and keep maintaining them, then achievement can never be better defined. You can also achieve in other spheres of life, education, business, etc.

afam4eva: I agree with you. Nigerians have this follow-follow attitude. The moment Bakassi becomes a republic, every other region in Nigeria will also want to seek self-determination.
And that is the exact reason why this will not be allowed to happen, neither by Nigeria, nor Cameroun. I feel bad for the Bakassians and i will hate GEJ forever for this singular act of selfishness and cowardice. God is watching him.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Are People Now Afraid Of Bank Jobs? by hardbody: 12:49pm On Oct 11, 2012
You guys are just posting based on unilateral knowledge. I walked out of banking at the peak of the consolidation era. Admitted, I went into the telecoms then, but I have also since left telecoms, and although I got another offer from another bank, I turned it down and presently holding down a less prestigious job but with good sustainability. I still work long hours, very challenged, probably make lesser than a parallel position in a bank, but guys, I haven't started spotting gray hair yet and my blood level has remained constant. I shall not, under any circumstance go back to the bank for a job, no way. As a back office staff then, I had targets that were cumulatively rolled over when I failed to meet them periodically. I am happy I left never to return.
