Its been long one heard from him the activist pastor. Maybe he's getting tired of Nigerian kind of politics. I miss him. |
It's good to pray for leaders. I dont believe in insulting them. But that shouldnt stop a genuinely concerned citizen from constantly critiquing what they do with the power at their disposal to keep them on their toes, constantly reminding them to do their job. |
I salute the courage of the priest for spitting it in their face. Who says we still dont have some genuinely concerned men of God? Pray it continually rings in their subconcious minds. |
That's callous of him! If efforts to handle it amicably fail use divorce to get your pound of flesh. I hate men who molest women. |
I expect nothing special. By the way, we are used to unpleasant surprises with news from govt quarters. |
Nigeria? QUAGMIRE ! |
Hey, very many females these days have long cast decency to the wind. Decency is stupidity, naivity, being outdated. Some wont mind walking the street barely clothed once their celebrity role model does so or if so says the dictates of current fashion. Dont even bother, you'll be the fo.ol if care so much, just learn to put up with it. One of the 'gains' of foolishly following fashion trends, being in vogue, 'modernization', . . .name it. These days it's abnormal to see a woman who doesnt leave portions of her private parts or innerwears on display for public viewing! Not denying some still strive to maintain high moral standards. |
Clerverly: Let the opposition assume power first, before this your lame excuse! No sir! Before opposition find themselves in power they should first tell themselves the truth what they really they want to do with power, clearly and sincerely define their motive and objective, . . . else we might just be flying from frying pan to fire. That should be the best way. Or what makes you think they are so immune from the virus now ravaging the PDP who are now in charge. Past experience suggests they are more or less birds of same feather. |
Gbawe: It is a no-brainer. Let some politicians set their egos and differences aside and the PDP is going down hard. let the merger be concluded and two good candidates emerge as early as possible. The 2008 mobilisation for Obama will seem like childsplay abeg. The Politicians should eschew selfishness and embrace National sacrifice this time. Let them play their part patriotically and even they will be shocked by the dedication of Nigerians to remove a terrorist "nest of killers" that has completed Nigeria's loss of glory and secured it descent into a hole on virtually the same level with Somalia.Critical! |
caseless: if u take cross-section of our roads, u'd be forced to believe that they have short life-span. So, haulage on them is bad. U can imagine how many tons those dangote trucks carry at ago....7tons. U can even see their tyre-print on the roads due to the weight they impose.True talk bro. I've always known our roads are anything but maintained/standard. Reason there's really nothing to be excited after their bogus road construction works. Yet I wonder where they'll find the spirit to resurect the railway when the more basic roads are impossible. |
abbakacici: TA orji will live to be a 100 and by god willing he will be persident 2015 or 2019You mean that man overseeing the maintenance of bush and slum status of that commercial but stinkingly dirty and backward town called Aba? |
cyril83: acidtalk?....is he a prophet now?Dont think so. By the way, been a long time heard from him. |
Definitely not best of times. The anger in the land is palpable and the nonperformance of people in office aint hard to tell. One's led to think these tragedies may be symbolic and a warning of some sort, and may continue. |
ezeagu: God doesn't run anyone's life. That doesn't make sense in any religion or irreligion.Simple invocation of Law of Karma. At least God can still punish the wicked. |
TechRev: AMEN oohh and may God run our individual lives the way we treat our neighbors and strangers Amen OOhh. Abi na only leaders be the problem?? If God was to judge, who will remain??Well said. |
bright007: are u confused? Is it d same allah dat promises them 77 virgins for killing one soul that will also punish them?Even mohammed(piss and shits be upon him) killed many people in d name of allah during his life time.I guess he has more than a million virgins in hell where he is now.No! There are some peace craving muslims like in S/West who dont believe in all those rubbish about killing people. Their 'Allah' is different. |
Yes, God will surely ruin the lives of all Nigerian leaders who are ruining the lives of the masses. Aaamiiii . . . . |
OmolodMilkman93: I sent it bt no reply, pls help me and check d warranty,.... PROV is a browsing setting for java phones dat can be done online(or manually wit an application) dat is den sent to d phone thru bluetooth, it is mostly used for browsing wit cheat,You should send sth like this "IMEI 351696058687641" to 32053, and see if any reply. Costs maybe N30. Another way to know waranty: is it up to 12months since you bought it? If not up to 12mths, get back to where you bought it and see how they can help free based on waranty. Else go for paid services. By the way, I was expecting experts in the house to come in and shed more light. You cld go thru thread from start and see if any scenario matches yours. |
Feelers from Delta State has it that the despite oil wealth status, gov Uduaghan is one of the govs seriously vying for the much coveted position/title of Worst/Most Nonperforming Governor in Nigeria. |
Whatever happens here and on NL and other major fora govt knows and should be taken to be aware. This's why junk comments that usually trail serious national issues here on NL threads are uncalled for and should be discouraged. A forum like this should be another people-organised vehicle and medium for those who run the state to get to know/feel the pulse of the people. Unfortunately our youth who are hardly ever ready to take on leadership (thanks to IBB) assume every topic on NL falls under the Jokes Section. It's simply funny to think govt doesnt have need to at least get to hear/read public opinions. |
OmolodMilkman93: I dnt knw abt Asha202 bt X2-02 doesnt hve option 4 manual configuration, doesnt accept prov file(i tink all dual sims dnt), it only accepts d netwrk provider settings,.. If Asha 202 is dual sim den I dnt tink it is manually configurableDid suggestion about checking the waranty help/work? What's 'prov file'? Could be a bit elaborate. |
Hey poster, I am forced to say you are a govt agent to feeding us all this falsehood. Your topic was totally wrong and should have read: "Aba a city destroyed by confused government of Theodore Orji". I'm not from there either, but a recent visit reveals that tho the masses who appear largely uneducated/unenlightened are very much part of the sanitation problem, the govt in place, supposedly in charge of State is the architect of and solidly behind the mess going on in that city. Unfortunate simple task as enforcing sanitation and putting Aba in a position to fully maximize its potentials as a commercial hub and business destination S/East Nig by state govt appears impossible. The govt of T A Orji in Abia State of Nigeria is a classic example of failure at least when it comes to sanitation! Somebody should come tell me the myriads of bad roads scattered around, dysfunctional drainage, swamps and heaps of wastes at middle of roads like NgwaRoad, inconsistency of waste mgt authority, to name a few, are too hard a nut to crack and wouldnt disappear with a person like maybe Fashola. Govt Orji should bury his head in shame and not put blame for his lack of vision and will to take on such cheap tasks in Aba, 8years of his rule, on the suffering masses. |
There's so much anger in the land. I sense more danger for these people in power unless they change. It's becoming clearer they arent as safe as they think. Recall my friend from Kogi arguing that their gov is the worst. |
By the way I doubt this 'gist' is true. |
Techwriter: Most paid indeed, yet Ngozi Nwosu is sick needs only 6million to solve her problem and they are asking the public for help. Most of their people have died this year just 4 inability to pay for proper medical attention. How cld these once give back to society when they can not even give to one of their own. Their lives are fake make believes and threads like this make our youths to aspire to this emptiness called celebrity. SelahCritical reaction/comment to topic. |
dirtymoney: u can only decieve those who've never lived amongst you. i lived in the north all my life. and i tell you, most of the locals in the north are in full support of the jihad going on there. I CANT BE DECIEVED. and next time you want to make a point, dont insult me!I love it more when facts roll in from witnesses and locals themselves who are there on ground. My little experience in core North tends to support your opinion. |
It's ok to shed tears. We'd love him to shed even more tears. But above all, he should be ready to go beyond that, and do much more to get things to normal in his state. He shouldnt forget the masses have been shedding tears of blood since time immemorial. |
caseless: Haulage should be done not on the roads cos it makes our roads not to last. This is why the railway should be revived......heavy loads should be transported using train. These tragidies usually point to failure of govt. And making our railways functional is like making Yaradua Musa president by 2015, to those in charge who can hardly put most busy major roads in good condition. |
Try sitting like near the window where you can have fresh air to make feel normal like you're home, and where you wont perceive petrol. And watch what you eat at such times. Also it could be an allergy of sort, and may be worth seeing a doc to be sure nothing to worry. |
OmolodMilkman93: no, it cant, its jst automatically,...hw do I check if its stil unda waranty? BTW d phone is coolThanks for quickly reply. I came across how to check waranty somewhere here on NL. I think it maybe this nokia thread. Try sending "IMEI" space then your phone's 15digit IMEI to 32053, you should receive sms telling you have 12mths waranty. Does X2-02 keep multiple configs like the normal Nokia? Any idea notable diff btw it and Asha202? Is Asha202 manually configurable? |
