Why should we believe you? |
I dont care what people really think but I sure do know our problem is not just PDP alone. These 'opposition' groups you see themselves are very much part of the demon haunting us. That's why you find that you are disillusioned where they are in office, they cant blaze that trail of good governance and judicious utilization of resources like they mouth it and the masses yearn for. The Jonathan may not be a very good choice but I'm yet to see a much better alternative among these oppositions. Before they shed their IDs they must first shed every greed and selfish motive behind their moves. And northern PDP govs involvement confirms a more Northern than genuine agenda. Same North has been wielding political power without much impact for long like 'born to rule' while the south must produce the resources. This is even as Nigeria trudges on as one country which basis we can barely define, fraught with so many structural imbalances . . . |
Hey, be careful how you ask these questions, your Dbanj peeps might be lurking around. To me, it remains a mindboggling issue the real reason why those 2 decided to part ways so unamicably almost destroying the brand and public image they worked so hard in years to build and earn. Some have argued Dbanj took a strategic career/business decision to widen his tentacles and the split means nothing. Again I wonder why they would change a winning formula just like that and still be expecting just same result. It's easy to forget that stars rise and fall. They do this forgetting that in true sense no one permanently owns stage. They better be careful many have come and gone. By the way these 'hits' are sometimes a function of luck. While we keep our pessimissm, we wait for any surprises to prove us wrong. |
Another unfortunate incident this festive period I guess. Hope these govt agencies will wake up and deal squarely with the situation, not relax till worst has come and gone. Pray not another usual Nigerian man-made disaster maybe caused by bad roads, regulatory laxity, and the likes. |

If you ask me . . .who I go as? The matter wey you see so e heavy for mouth . . .But shaa, make we dey talk am. |
. . . I think Ngige |
I think he's talking about xtian reprisal attacks, which undoubtedly are response to Islamic offensives. Everyone knows Islamic sects and jihadist groups are architects of religious crises in Nigeria and 'enjoy' shedding of blood and lingering crises. As a leader Gumi should focus more on teaching his followers to practice Islam strictly as a religion of peace that condemns Bokoharam and similar radical tendencies . . . |
Life's full of ups and downs. It's never straight as such. You get to experience what happens/plays out as you go on focussed on your target. So is business, etc. It's not necessarily compulsory to experience failure but almost impossible not to either. Mind you failure could mean hiccups, unforseen problems, challenges, etc |
Nairalanders cant stop being funny. Both guys are public figures and merely saying they have "moved on" wont stop fans and people from wanting to know exactly what their relationship is like. Who/what exactly caused their breakup still remains an issue for many fans? Dont forget public image and perception are very critical. |
fr_evangel: Well said!!! My simple question, is how many times have they come out openly to condemn Boko Haram and the attack on Churches?! Shouldn't they be condemning the Christmas day attack rather than GEJ's facebook post? If they want to win the hearts of Nigerians maybe they should start by coming out to condemn every BH attack on Christians in the same North where they supposedly have "radical" supporters. Nay! Dogs and Baboons soaked in blood is their moto!Very sensitive observation! |
. |
Sincerely, it'll be a miracle if Jonathan manages make meaningful impact, as he seems to lack the will. Yet I dont expect much from CPC with its religious coloration either. A christmas message ordinarily is not supposed to raise any dust. |
"God has been good to me!" |
Kind of things we love to hear about 'gaint' of Africa. |
It causes no single worry what those a.s.s lickers and govt image makers may think. I've always known today's Fashola is highly overated. If he ever made such giant strides with public funds and projects, that was then - the first four years. The rest as they say 'na wash'. By the way, what will a thread like this do but to reveal the voice and pulse of peeps in the street. |
Inyanya, "God-fearing" woman? I thought all he wants is their waste? |
Yes. And Tinubu must be that nice governor Lagos State never had. |
berem: donchris33: Have you taken your medications this evening? you thank GOD. for what? Even if it is a soul that is killed, so, it doesnt matter so long as it is no as bloody as last year. You really need help fast before you start roaming the streets n.aked.Maybe you misunderstood her. |
ceejay80s: I blame christians, wetin dem find go there? Daily bread my foot. Leave dat God foresaken land and let me see if they will come and bomb any church in lagos or anambraDo you mean northerners who are christians should leave their place of origin and move to the south to be safe from bokoharam? Hope you know that just like with Yorubas for eg, some Hausas are christians? |
emiye: What is the meaning of "impound you "Hey, stop talking rubbish. The lawless LASTMA murderer should go claim his star prize of death/life sentence as provided by law in court. They must learn to follow the law or face the consequence! |
Handwork Bokoharam again? Bokoharam = Enemies of Allah, Enemies of prophet Muhamed, children of Shayton, sons of satan, people who have refused to obey Allah's commands, People who are cursed, Basta.rds, Demon-possessed, Bloodsuckers, Unbelievers, Enemies of Islam. ALLAH WILL FOREVER PUNISH THEM FOR ALL THEIR FOOLISH WICKEDNESS!!! I think it's now time FG launched fullscale assault on the bokoharam, open/secret sponsors, accomplices, agents, supporters, loyalists, and sympathizers alike. They should get to know a responsive no-nonsense govt is in place! |
Fashola and co should in their usual severe/Draconian Lagos Traffic Laws spirit ensure the "modest" LASTMA killers get the death/life sentence they deserve, and nothing less. When peeps like us say many if not most LASTMA officials are nothing but touts, rascals, agberos, illitrates, . . . many find it difficult to understand. These are people we see everyday blessed day how irresponsible they are. Unfortunately it has to come to this level (murder) before maybe Fashola and co might in similar draconian spirit that now rules fish out, and discipline those bad eggs! |
Ordinarily US has no business coming in. But since our leaders seem too busy with the disease of amassing wealth and appear incapable and clueless as to how to silence them Boko what do you expect? |
SuperMario java game |
miiraaj: Vote for Buhari in 2015, and we shall see it happen.Buhari is off the topic. By the way, he should be too old by then, unless we are planning for another Yar Adua. @Topic, answer is NO! Nigerian legislature are known for far more serious misconducts which they are hardly ever punished for. Recall Facrook Lawal and Oledola saga. |
agbari socket: Igbo should not launch any attack again what are they gaining is it bcuz of little money they use 2 feed thier animal parents.but make then no enter yorubaland ooo.if not problem go start 4 them ooo. AGBARI SOCKET. have spoken...tanx 4 ur corporationWhat makes you think so? Can you please throw more light. |
The Nigerian security agencies have got what it takes to handle the Bokoharam problem. They should be determined enough to crush them. I really cant imagine a southern group enjoying such laxity. |
Mogidi: This is a great move by Mr President. Love him or hate him you can't ingore the experiences of this great Nigerian,Could you throw more light |
lukaino: A breath of fresh air.... Transformation agenda! It is a pity i'm born into this country. Youths where's our future?Yet the worst aspect of it is that when critical issues like this are brought up in a globalforum like this you see the same youth speaking like every topic is meant to be a joke of some sort. Like IBB rightly said the Nigerian youth appears to be anything but ready to assume leadership/responsibility. |
Kind of graduates we have these days. Before you know it, you hear them saying there's no job |
Think it's just a statement of fact. |
