PoliticsRe: Jonathan Meets Igbo Elders Over South-east Development by Hardfact: 11:24am On Jan 11, 2013
GEJ can simply make his name by working. He's incharge let him work!
HealthRe: UNIBEN Professor Recants HIV/AIDS Cure Discovery by Hardfact: 6:12am On Jan 11, 2013
No surprise at all. There certainly are elements of truth in the Proff's claim. In Nigerian context, what really do you expect?
PoliticsRe: Fulani And Eggon Riot In Bassa, Nasarawa State by Hardfact: 12:16am On Jan 11, 2013

Assuming this news turns out to be false, what would we make out of this thread?

Not to say it ain't possible...Soludo is not 100% clean anyway.
The news is everywhere! Check vanguard's website.

texazzpete: All you can think about is your tribe. What sort of fellow are you?!! it matters not to you if the man may be guilty of anything...all you're babbling about is 'Igbo people' and 'politics'.

People like you are part of the reason why this country is so backward.

PoliticsRe: Shipload Of Toxic Waste At Lagos Port by Hardfact: 8:17pm On Jan 10, 2013
Goodnews? But that has long been second name of Nigeria - Africa's No1 Dumping Ground! For this case that we know who how many others were successful? Even our officials will prefer you bribe them and come in unhindered with your toxic whatever!
PoliticsRe: Suggestions For Credible Alternatives To Jonathan In 2015 Elections by Hardfact: 7:57pm On Jan 10, 2013
Big question, porous answers. It's just not that easy finding that ideal individual with all qualities we all so desire. That's the next major thing after we've rejected GEJ.
And God forbid whoever comes after him turns out even worse!
PoliticsRe: Biafra Group Sues FG Over Abandoned Property And Others by Hardfact: 4:56pm On Jan 10, 2013
Isnt this belated? Well parties involved should know better. But they need not precipitate unnecessary crises.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: What Is The Least Salary 4 The Nigeria Police Force. by Hardfact: 4:27pm On Jan 10, 2013
If it's that urgent, you may as well go discuss in even more detail with police officers offline. I'm sure they'll tell all you need know. Just a suggestion.
EducationRe: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by Hardfact: 1:17pm On Jan 10, 2013
biolabee: f(0) = 0 + 0+ 0+ c = 4 thus c = 4
f(1) = a + 2 + b + 4 = 4 thus a+b = -2 A
f(-1) = -a + 2 - b + 4 = 8 thus -a-b = 2 B

Hmmm

The equation has a fault somewhere as the simultaneous equations A & B are similar
Thanks for the effort. Lifted it from somewhere. Anyone else?

Nope!
PoliticsRe: Top 10 People That Need To Shut-up In 2013 by Hardfact: 1:02pm On Jan 10, 2013
Deep Sight: THE ONE AND ONLY PERSON WHO NEEDS TO SHUT THE F UP IN NIGERIA IS SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI.

Central Banking requires deep sobriety and not loquaciousness because markets and economies hang on every word of a Central Bank Governor.
Thank you sir!

PoliticsRe: Power: FG To Meet 10, 000mw Target By December – Minister by Hardfact: 11:49am On Jan 10, 2013
Such an irrelevant declaration. Even a mad man has got better things to say. They better stick their as.s to work and stitch their mouth with needle.

EducationRe: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by Hardfact: 8:14pm On Jan 09, 2013
doubleDx: Lemme expand 2nioshine's solution so you can understand better.

x^4 - 1
Can be written as:
(x^2)^2 - 1^2

Lets x^2 = P

P^2 - 1^2
Since a^2 - b^2 = (a - b)(a + b) - difference of two squares
P^2 - 1^2
= (P - 1)(P + 1)
Substituting P = x^2 yields:

= (x^2 - 1)(x^2 +1)
= (x^2 - 1^2)(x^2 +1)
Appylying the difference of two squares to (x^2 -1^2) gives : (x -1)(x + 1)

:. x^4 - 1 = (x -1)(x + 1)(x^2 +1)
Kudos!
@All how about solving this:

If f(x) = a(x^3) + 2(x^2) + bx + c, and f(0) = f(1) = 4, and f(-1) = 8, Find: a, b, and c.

OAM4J: You are probably new to this section. This is not the first time we have pages of threads hidden and I hid over 99% of the offtopic posts here while Mukina2 banned all the derailers.
Finally a sigh of relief. Enough of those irritating comments that litter NL like Ojota refuse dump! Eureka, let the cleansing continue provided it's unbiased!

Omen100: that is to tell you that we are living in an unjustified world
Bro, its just one of the many symptoms of a disunited united "one Nigeria", where equity, fairplay, justice, tolerance, oneness, . . .are mere hallucinations! Arent Dele Giwa's killers walking about free today? We've got a long way to go.

Sincere 9gerian: I see nothing wrong in FERMA trying to make the road motorable pending when whatever is made Julius Berger stop work is resolved for work to continue.
FERMA shouldn't have allowed deep craters to develop on that road in the first place.
Any link between your GEJ FG and nonperforming FERMA?

Pure truth! I always know our leaders are our killers. If you know how many souls are wasted every week on road accidents due to bad roads, you will rejoice when any of them die.
