I'm not contradicting myself.

That PRAYER you prayed that averted the evil projection, is also part of the Predestination.
Ok so those that don't pray, it must also be part of their predestination. Beautiful.
This is a topic on it's own

LOL.

Agreed I didn't watch the video, that was why I said maybe it would help, since you are hell bent on seeing God heal amputees.

So now that you are implying that God cannot heal amputees, what is your final conclusion on it?
Thanks for the link. It inspired me to watch more amputee healing testimonies on youtube. All of them were scams.
You need to watch that video too. Very educating.

I am 100% sure God does not answer prayers.

Yes, everything has been predestined.

But sometimes, evil people would try to manipulate your predestined life and try to bring some misfortunes that isn't in line with your destiny into your life.

But when we pray, such bad projection against your life/destiny by the evil people will be averted.
You should be in the comedy business.
If God predestines anything, then evil people trying to change that destiny is all part of the predestination. You don't need prayers because the outcome has already been determined.
You are contradicting yourself.

"comforting prophesies" that never yield results but rather intensify the situation by making us anticipate for an heavenly intervention while neglecting the physical solutions to the problem.... To me its foolishness, though it was once an act of wisdom.
Absolute foolishness

God is a consolation for the timid, coward - real men don't have imaginary friend
That is it.
When I think back, all I see was weakness and lack of courage to come into terms with reality.
All those prayers are just emotion driven and the resulting "comforting prophesies" were all emotional pats to soot our hurting hearts.

Watch your steps.
I have been an atheist for 5 years now. Even god can't tell me what you just posted. I fear humans, I have no iota of fear of God, satan, witches, satanists etc. If anything bad happens to me, even if I die a terrible death today, know it is because bad things happen to people.

That I participated and ask for divine intervention makes me angry when I hear of tales of the many millions our defense chiefs enriched themselves with while putting the lives of our soldiers at risk.

It's a shame!
What was god looking at? Why rely on soldiers when god could have sent angels to slaughter the boko haram animals?

Christianity Etc › TRUE STORY: Praying Against Boko Haram After 70days Fasting by HardMirror(op): 12:46pm On Jul 06, 2016
The year was 2008

Every year we fast for 70days in my church.(Christ Life Church Also known as Sword of the Spirit Ministries)

This was a yearly exercise our Bishop, Bishop Francis Wale Oke tagged 70 days of Glory.

I NEVER missed a day of the fasting. I always completed the whole 70 days. At the end of the 70days we will all converge at the church Headquarters at Olaogun in Ibadan. Where the Bishop will lead fiery prayers.

This year was special.

We had a pastor from Borno who told us gory tales of how boko haram were killing christians even more gory than any newspaper ever reported.

The church was angry!

I was angry!

The Bishop was angry!

He lead prayers. we spent the whole night praying! It must have lasted about 3 hrs or so.

After everything, the bishop prophesied that within a week boko haram will be history!

It is 8 years now and boko haram are still killing.

It was prophesied that angels will invade their camp and kill them all. Nothing miraculous happened.

God simply does not exist as we think.

Christianity is driven by emotion not reality.

I recall how people were weeping, screaming to heaven for intervention.

The prayers were thunderous.

Nothing happened!

I can confidently say God is nothing but a well devised scam, strongly attached to our emotions.

I'm sorry this might be lengthy, but please bear with my long post.. Also I'll be treating you as one who has read much on things embedded in the bible - meaning I'll be making more scriptural references.

Sensitive matters are at best treated with patience... I do hope you grant me patience with regards my questions..
I might sound ridiculous asking questions that look/seem I'm repeating myself, but believe me, I'm not... Please also do pardon my imprudence in advance if you feel I'm stepping on your nerves.

Still re-iterating the quote below, how are you sure things related to you by the spirit we're not things you placed as idols in your heart?

In terms of the idols - referencing your fantasy about "Your desire was to win souls, strong attraction to evangelists and apostles".
Could this have been the little thing that you probably didn't think count but caused a massive alteration to your purpose and destiny.
Although you might want to reiterate your argument that your calling was definite, but there are chances what you thought was your calling wasn't really your calling. It could be the strange sons David talked about in Psalms 144:7 - 14. Or could be that you were answered according to what you kept as idols in your heart.
Secondly, could it have been that when you turned to Christ, you separated yourself from the world but not unto God - implying that although you were separated, you never really journeyed unto God. It might have looked like it on the physical, but never on the spiritual.

Just incase the above pissed you off, you might want to skip to the next question
You must have been prone to some bad habits before you turned to Christ, might I ask what those bad habits were?
All in the mind. Based on pre conditioning. Nothing of these is real.

The calamity was caused by carelessness. The devil was not the one who failed to teach the boy to avoid roads. He was not the one who failed to install a jam lock on the gate so people won't forget to secure it. He was not the one who went to sleep knowing that there was no other person watching the toddler. And he was not the one who forgot to secure the gate.

One problem with religious thinking is that it causes us interpret our experiences incorrectly and thus to fail to figure out the real reasons for our problems so we can prevent them from happening again. Train your son. Install a jam lock. Never leave him unsupervised. Those are the real lessons of the story. But the OP probably thinks the lesson is to pray and fast more.
The way people do away with common sense in the name of religion is alarming.
Great post sir

One thing with Us humanoids is that we take death as an end, while it's only the beginning of an everlasting journey.

[They hoped on God to save them]
Everything happens for a reason, besides nobody will live here forever.
And everybody's given time to spend here on earth must not be equal.

That you weren't alerted in the spirit when danger shows up means; you are not always holy/righteous/clean 24/7 - 365 days.
Some men of God predicted when they will die, yet they died that period, coincidence?

As for God healing amputees, maybe this would help

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQnI4eoSvwo
So what is the point in praying? If all has been predestined? What is the point in coming to give thanks that God saved his child?
Since you agree that multitude of people perish despite praying so why should the op come here asking us to explain his so called miracle.

Read what you just posted. It means there is no point asking God for anything.

Considering the aforementioned or not?
Also, might I ask of your definition of definite?
I'd also appreciate if you could also give instances of this definite claim?
I undertook several discipleship under various pastors (I travel a lot so had lots of pastors) and many of them confirmed this too.
My definition of definite? Well all I know I had a calling not to build churches, or have denominations (I related with many denominations) my job was simple win souls and move on to the next soul to be won.
Conviction is not something I can explain to you. I have expressly stated that the Holy spirit related things to me. So knowing my calling was child's play.
Can we quit going in circles now?

Might I ask sir, we're you aware of the scripture in the bible (Ezekiel 14:4) that states "Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols"

Could it have been that what really made you an evangelist was your fantasy about one and not the true call of God for you?
I do hope this dosen't anger you in anyway sir. I await your sincere reply.
If you're wondering why I'd assert this sir, the bolded in your response prompted me to inquire.

If you're in disagreement with my above stated assertion, you would quite agree with me that the winning of souls can be accomplished in any department of the five fold ministry.
I was definite about my calling.

Sorry Sir, but I prefer when individuals are specific... In your previous statement, you made use of the word more of;

Your use of the word made me think you're not entirely sure.

Might I ask again sir. What was the conviction of your calling and how were you called?
From the time I was saved, all I desired was to win souls. I just can't be at peace with my self when I am not winning souls. I discovered I also had a strong attraction to evangelists and apostles, more than I had to teachers and pastors. Most of my friends were evangelists too.
As for conviction. Those were times I communicated with the Holy Spirit so it was easy to hear the Holy Spirit expressly tell me all God wanted was for me to win souls.

I kept seeing visions of me evangelising to muslims in islamic nations. Being an evangelist in islamic nations was my vision

Not new definition, but real definition that've eluded you and all those who put your faith in pastors instead of God. I acknowledge you're now an atheist, all because of such misconceptions that made you put so much trust in religion. Of course, you got disappointed because religion doesn't represent God!!.

When did God tell you TB Joshua and Oyahklome are his servants?

If you're really interested in God, this's the right time for you to seek him and I can assure you you'll discover him. Then, you'll understand religion had fooled you all along.
Does God promise to heal? Is he willing to heal?

I was an more of an evangelist though the church leadership gave me pastorial roles occasionally, but soul winning was my passion and what I enjoyed doing most.

@ the boldfaced. HardMirror, has it occurred to you that while these things are inexplicable to you, to some people, what appears to you as "mysteries" are termed "supernatural", and the powers of the supernatural have not just been felt or experienced but used?

You see, I'm not against anyone believing whatsoever gladdens his heart. But the thing is, arrogantly dismissing unknown knowledge based on grounds of unwillingness or not just privileged to learn such a knowledge doesn't in anyway translate to a non existence or explanation of the said knowledge, a good example is the existence of God. This is most true if we're to believe on the 'pluralistic' nature of knowledge, as believing the contrary depicts extreme self-deceit and an attitude of monopoly of knowledge.

Anyways, of course you're always at liberty to believe what suits your belly. That's why someone like me will always salute whatever opinion one holds. Cheers!
I wish the guy will table specifics so I know what we are dealing with. What he may regard as supernatural powers may not be more than misinformation or misinterpretation of occurrences. I have many "educated" friends who believe aircrafts can only fly because of the supernatural powers white people put into it and are keeping secret.
So what is supernatural power? And what examples can he table?
Then we can go on
