Dey there. Being a broke 'feminist' abi women power' activist never works in this country. Na men still own the factors of production. Na only few women fit do their thing majorly (in a self made way) without men 'input' (e.g Linda Ikeji). As your so called talent no dey enough to maintain the fake Lekki celeb lifestyle, Do as your mates dey do, and do it humbly and low key. Otherwise, hunger go samma you and that your big breast, and suicide go invite you last last. You never see anything. |
So the Nigerian admits.... 'wire'... It's not ideal. Forget sentiment. |
nasoeb:Lol. With due respect, you be mumu. Ebonyi would decamp to where? For what? What does he need the APC for, now that he has his second term? The governor of Ebonyi state is eminently self centred. He would only decamp to the APC if it becomes clear that the party would cede either its presidential or vice presidential ticket to the South East. As it stands, I predict a North/South East PDP presidential ticket in 2023. The Ebonyi governor would see this as well. So he would jejely stick to his PDP and die there, where he stands a chance. |
NOC1:Why not use your own father for comparative analysis, if you know who your father is. |
forgiveness:You may be right or wrong. JB's shareholding structure isn't clear enough. Mike has two directors on the board, including his beloved daughter. But if he is the highest single shareholder, then I'm sure he would restlessly push for his daughter to be the Chairman of JB Nigeria. |
The real heroes of June 12. Not shady pretenders and opportunists like Bola Tinubu who conveniently appeared when it was time to reap the rewards of a struggle they didn't participate in. |
Not surprising. PDP has been the only 'real' political party in Nigeria since 1999. 1. It is not built around any single individual or power bloc. 2. It has never been tied to a particular region or geopolitical zones in Nigeria. 3. It has always been truly nationalistic, inclusive, and representative (unlike e.g. AD, AC, ANPP, APGA, and most shameful of all, the APC). Unfortunately, even after winning the presidency, the APC couldn't use that golden opportunity to achieve these feats. It is still essentially a tribalistic party built around individuals like Buhari and to a smaller extent, Tinubu. It's a joke how the latter parades himself as an unelected 'national leader'. Who appointed him national leader of the APC? The PDP holds an NWC meeting to officially elect a BOT Chairman. They don't arbitrarily allow one ugly he-goat to proclaim himself a 'national leader' and throw his smelly weight around. Stupid people. If Buhari dies today or is booted out tomorrow, the APC is dead. Is that one a party? Can any single person claim to have such stranglehold on the PDP? Even after something as debilitating as losing a presidential election (with all the all powerful sustaining patronage that comes with it), the PDP is still waxing strong NATIONALLY, is that not what it means to be a real political party? |
Are we supposed to be stagnant or make progress? Imagine comparing a phone (for example) of 2007 model and 2019 model, and then asking which one is worse. The fact that there is a basis at all for comparison means that the 2019 version is woefully and unforgivably terrible. If 12+ years later, something is arguably as bad as (or worse than) a much older version, then something is fundamentally and shamefully wrong. Any ills credited to the Obasanjo regime and its institutions should be seen as teething problems. Democracy was still fresh for goodness sake,, just taking off in 1999 after decades of military rule. If after ALL THESE YEARS, and after the self-sacrificing giant leap taken by Jonathan to deepen our democracy by handing over gracefully in 2015, if after all of these, we are still comparing ourselves to 2003 Nigeria, then we should all just cover our dirty faces in shame. |
Great feat. Tambuwal should be steadfast. I didn't fancy him before for the presidency, but now, I feel he should get the PDP ticket in 2023. |
O boy see my food. Completely idi-culous! I often agree with Reno, but I have to disagree with him this time. He be proper jew man to turn down this invitation. Na our work be that. |
I rather support a chicken or cow from Zungeru or Kafanchan in 2023 than anyone from the South West, unless such a person is the PDP candidate. If it is any of these APC bastards, like oSINbanjo or Thiefinubu and other desperate schemers like them, then God forbids. A pig from Chad should be president instead. |
MobilityExpress:I thought Jowi stays in Chevy View, Lekki. When did he relocate to Ikoyi? |
CuntBobby:Nwanne tell me more about this Ekwulobia 'Pounds and Dollars'. Wetin be him name and what's the koko about him? Anambra di Ike. |
xandy84:. Look at this poor boy with a suffer head 'employee' mentality. When you OWN a business, you can turn up in your boxers if you choose. Na only suffer head workers like you go dey bother about 'appropriate' dressing. Get smart. |
Beautiful. I enjoyed reading this at a purely intellectual level but I also feel the grief; the shouda coulda woulda; the 'I wish I did xyz'. I empathise with you because I have similar experiences. In all, what I learned most from your lovely piece is to try one's very best to keep in touch with those who have made impacts on one's life at different levels. It's quite important. |
Your number 2 is the real deal. Payback would be a big ass bitch this time around. The JSCs know what's coming and they are ready to take their pound of flesh, restore sanity, and show who's boss. The APC bastards can use their weapon of violence as usual, but it wouldn't change anything. Let Buhari's murderous thugs kill people if they want. Let the APC instigate violent crisis it it so pleases. Let the heavens fall. Let Nigeria burn. But Buhari would be removed by force; at any bloody cost. Anything, even the death of thousands of people as collateral damage, is better than APC's and Buhari's continued nightmarish government. This is not time to toe Jonathan's regrettable line of 'My ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian". The righteous quest to get the bastard Buhari out is worth the blood of as many Nigerians as possible, If that's what it takes. |
My only problem is execution. I've not read the judgment. Did it order for Adeleke to be immediately sworn in, and if so, does such ruling foreclose any delay tactics stratagem such as stay of execution? |
I really despise this Agege Bread senator. Very loud, brash, arrogant and completely obnoxious. I hope he meets a dead end and is confined to the trashcan where he belongs. Annoying idiot. |
Richdad50:That red cap enforcement na im truly weak me walahi. I don't know how these men do it. To build a personality cult around themselves and maintain such numbers of fanatical devotees. |
dokiOloye:My brother, since you know his PA, let's arrange to meet him. I have something he would fund big time. Haven't been able to arrange a meeting since the last time I managed to see him. |
ChristianNorth:Obijackson is bigger than Tonimas and Uche Ogah put together. He is in the top 5 in Igbo land. No loud am too much. Leave story. |
The afonja idiots are not saying anything about their tribal god Tinubu's own case at the same CCT. Or are you fools not seeing his picture up there, shamelessly posing inside the Dock? React to that and leave Onnoghen alone for a second. |
Hogwash. |
seunmsg:Look at this APC bedbug purporting to 'chook' nose to know what is happening or what would happen inside PDP! Face your disgusting APC, and I hope you're getting sufficiently paid for it. If you're not balling hard, then I just have to say that you're a pathetic thing. |
Nonsense. |
This is so heartbreaking. What is this for goodness sake? I'm so filled with rage that I can't say more. |
Nigeria sha. I'm ashamed of how backward we are. See mugshot, in the year of our Lord 2019!. Dem just tear carton write nonsense on top, give man pikin to hold, pose for camera. |
Originality paved the way. But now she's 'scripted'. It's never quite the same thing. |
I stand with you, Waziri. At this stage of your life, you have nothing to lose. Fight to the end and reclaim your mandate. Our good and righteously indignated JSCs are silently committed to ensuring this outcome. If some almajiri miscreants want to kill themselves subsequently, I implore them to be my guest. There would be collateral damage, but justice must be done at all and at any cost. Justice must be done, even if the heavens fall. |
West601:Lol. Funny enough, as I was starting to read your comment, Nigga Raw's song (Ara ga agba ndi ara) just got played at the garden where I'm consuming bottles of something along with peppersoup. Weird coincidence. Big ups to Nigga Raw Nwanne. |
I have never "asked a girl out" in my entire adult life. But I've talked up uncountable and did whatever I hoped with them - one night stand, fling, relationship, etc. Asking her out gives the 'askee' the opportunity to refuse, often out of sheer awkwardness. Just get her damn number if possible, arrange meet ups, and charm your way into her pant, her heart, or her purse...depending on your aim. Don't ask for stupid permissions. |
Na so. You can choose to take your destiny in your own hands and do something meaningful in your life, or instead waste your life blaming, backbiting, and lamenting. The choice is yours. |
