What is happening to our once peaceful Abuja for goodness sake? Why are moronic bastards always hell bent on destroying peace and tranquility for no just cause? |
geekybabe:Sometimes I just feel like blurting out how daft most of you women are. A person tries to speak sense into your empty skulls and all you can do is play the senseless gender equity card. If a desirable (successful) young man is sleeping around, but ends up proposing to your dumb ass, how would the public react? They would all shout that you're lucky to BAG him... That you're lucky he chose you out of all the many girls you KNOW he was fucking around with. On the other hand, if a beautiful girl who is widely known to be a promiscuous slut decided that she is ripe for marriage, which guy who knows her antecedents would marry her? And if she manages to catch one idiot who doesn't know about her sexploits, what would the public say? That he is a fool for marrying a slut like you! That's the difference, and you know it! Don't come here to be forming gender equality. It is too provocative, knowing how deceitful you trollops are. |
dingbang:You have not finished fixing something as basic and simple as street lights in your major cities like Abuja and Lagos, yet you want to develop your own messenger.... You Naija people can overrate yourselves in spite of your woeful emptiness. Take time before you make me vex. |
This Lokoja/Okene highway axis is something else, but God pass them. |
Looks like a perfect match. Banky is a cool dude, just like Adesuwa seems super cool too. It's a textbook couple. Beau Monde. Hope this lasts. |
Afonjashapmouth:Trust me, this is not about knowing her worth. It's about having enough money to throw around. No surprise that shallow people misinterpret that as a grand evidence of love. Men buy cars for their flings... Others spend thousands of dollars on one night stands. It's the same thing with proposing to a girl with a car or even a jet. Wouldn't be hard to do if you're a subsidy thief or government contractor or whatever else who happen to have access to easy money. |
The kind of guy that make broke guys look stupid and make hopeful spinsters prolong their wait for the 'dream' husband... A wait that, sadly, is often futile. |
Too much desperation. Too bad. |
pacino26:Is Abba Kyari aware of this nonsense? |
murmee:We are talking about power politics and high wire dangerous intrigues nd you're here mouthing NADECO? You're clearly the young one. NADECO that was a toothless bulldog that made noise only in the pages of Lagos/Ibadan newspapers? Was it NADECO that killed/removed Abacha, or did NADECO's noise help Abiola reclaim his presumptive mandate, or even help him escape the Northern death verdict on his head? Think well my son. Yoruba noise in the media is all that would happen if anything happens to Osibanjo (I pray nothing happens to the man though). Nothing more. Nobody would take to the streets, and Nigeria wouldn't boil. The South West does NOT have the suicidal almajiri foot soldiers to cause trouble. Na so so hedonistic, champagne socialist, and arm chair 'hactivists' the South West get. That's all there is to the matter. |
Compliance:Absolutely nothing would happen if something happens to Osibanjo. Nothing at all. The only possible outcomes after such an event would be that the Buhari cabal would quickly appoint one of their own as Vice President, or if that isn't possible due to Buhari's in disposition, then Saraki would be eminently pleased to take the reins of Power. |
Assemblage of leviathans. |
Well, this is very true, unfortunately so. |
Charly68:Buhari said that his three point agenda is Insecurity, corruption, and the economy. It has been exactly two years since the old dirty bastard took over power, yet which of these problems has been effectively dealt with, to the extent that the common man in the street can FEEL the difference? Since we're talking about security in this thread, is Nigeria generally a more secure place to live today than it was in May 2015? OR does it mean that, by "security", what the goat and his abokki government mean is the UNDER REPORTING of Boko Haram activities in the media? Only animals would support this government. |
bukolabeauty09:You must be a kidnappress. |
I like the man already. Witty and smart. Just relocate the other certificate-less herdsman to an old people's home where he belongs and swear this man in. That's the best option for Nigeria as things stand, until 2019 when we will then have the opportunity to reassess our options. |
Celepope:The likes of Tinubu and Kashamu ran the streets in the 1980s, when eye never open. Time is a good thing and a bad thing depending on what side of the horizon you find yourself. Some rackets that are impossible now were billion dollar easy cash cows some years or decades ago... Before eyes come open and loopholes were blocked. So that's it. Positive time and chance happened to 'their' so-called Asiwaju and bam, he is a so-called revered political/tribal leader today, and Kashamu on a smaller level. No be say dem too smart pass the rest of the unfortunate hustlers. All na time and chance. |
plaetton:Brilliant. |
Would have been more palatable and understandable if he was nicked for 'wire wire', tax refund fraud or drug dealing and that sort of thing. That's normal 'hustle' in the street, glamorised in pop culture here and in the US. BUT stealing, robbery, kidnapping, and all that B.S is so so so so socially unacceptable and unforgivable. Shows you're a worthless lowlife. Not worthy to be in any normal setting of normal human beings. You're gone hommie. Even if you get out anytime soon you'll be a pariah. Commit suicide. This lifetime is messed up for you (if you have any plans of coming back to your Naija identity as Saucekid/Sinzu. Till the next. |
LastMumu:Without prejudice to your moniker, I assume your opinion is well-thought-out and sensible. I'm not lying o. |
. |
I just Googled TMAU, and got exposed to a treasure trove of new information on the condition. What else can I say. |
factwriter:There is nothing cowardly about suicide. It's more cowardly to face shame, humiliation, and a deplorable life (Odindu onwu ka mma) than to muster the supreme courage to pay the supreme price. It's not even debatable. Anyone who thinks suicide is the "easy way out" is only being economical with the truth. If such a person had half the liver , he or she would have ended his or her miserable life long ago. We can discuss about the moral, philosophical, or spiritual 'wrongness' of the act; that's a different matter altogether. But this delusional talk about cowardice or easiness is total nonsense. |
69MissedCalls:This is very true. It takes balls of steel to defeat one's innate survival instincts and inflict fatal injury upon oneself. |
kaziblake:What do you mean by randy man with wandering dick? Do you expect him to be a eunuch? He is a normal man, and even more normal for a Nigerian man of his status. We work hard to make money/have levels, in order to enjoy ourselves to the fullest extent in this short lifetime. Not to stick to one madam, otherwise, what's the point of all the money. You women must understand this. |
Eeya. See as Toyota come transform into Datsun. Too bad. |
theSpark:The highlighted text just did it for me. This is my number one consideration whenever I'm assessing any location for its liveability. I'm in love right now and would surely try to visit Kigali in the near future. By the way, which Nigerian town or city, do you reckon, comes closest to having a semblance of a "general mood of tranquility, restraint, and soberness"? It used to be between Calabar and Abuja, but both cities have been corrupted and are now ridden with crime and insecurity. My best bet now is Abakaliki, but then, who knows anywhere better? |
This Shina sef. A man of such a one kind way. |
Donexy16:This kind of thinking is why we are still stuck in the cesspit of underdevelopment. "Fighting corruption" is not in itself a development plan. Only a mentally lazy government bereft of ideas and creativity would use a so-called motion without movement "war on corruption" to cloak it's incompetence. What is the clear policy blueprint/road map towards development? Two years after Buhari's government came into being, we are still drifting aimlessly like flotsam. |
The incumbent president was only unseated because he allowed himself to be unseated. It's pathetic how idiots can feel important (including Tinubu and the rest) because you gave them the chance to. That's what happens when you don't pull the trigger when you should have. The idiot you had mercy on would later credit himself for escaping death, and ridicule you for being 'weak'. That's why I like the likes of Abacha and Obasanjo. They muscled their way through idiots in the old-fashioned iron-hand way. Nigeria isn't prepared for democracy yet, as is obvious in the way these idiots use(d) Jonathan to shine. |
Igbos get mouth abeg. Awon Ibo lenu pa. |
While Buhari might not have been able to read the report, because of his busy schedule that was compounded by his health issues, the NSA, Ibrahim Monguno, is said to hate reading.Just negodu the kind of buffoons appointed to sensitive and super important national offices. And yet we wonder why things would never work on this country. What a pity. |
