Who would win in a full scale war between Israel V Russia?

That is a difficult question to answer. One one hand Russia has many more times military equipment, i.e Ships, Aircraft, Tanks, Personnel, Weapons, Nukes ect ect. On the other hand, the vast majority of what Russia has, is outdated, decommissioned, falling apart, *lost* (lol always love that one about where Nukes have gone). I do not believe that Russia has the capability to produce a decent military for an all scale war, (for now)

Israel on the other hand has a lot fewer pieces of equipment and personnel than Russia does, yet they are far more up to date and better trained than the Russian Military is. In fact given a size comparison, the Israeli Military trains it's people just as well if not better in some cases than the U.S Military does.

Israel also has Nukes too. So they are smaller, yet better trained, and better equipped. Here is the deal though most of what Israel has, is for defense purposes. The have the best Fighters, and Fighter Bombers there are currently, but they do not possess Actual Heavy Bombers. That is what Russia would use to attack Israel, if not Nuclear Missiles.

If Russia went to war with Israel in Israel's home territory , as in another country. Israel would win hands down.

But since they are so far apart, and you are asking about Russia Versus Israel in a Geographic kind of way, I would have to say Russia would win due to the long distance bombers they have, and more nuclear missiles, that can also be converted to Conventional Missiles.

Russia also has a much larger Navy, even if 85% of it isn't operational.

And since Putin is on his way to becoming the next Ruler/ Dictator of Russia, and he is putting un Godly amounts of money back in the Russian Military and developing new weapons, ships, and aircraft. Not to forget it's ties with nations such as Iran, and Venezuela and North Korea.

The question you should really be asking is, who would win in 10 years if nobody does anything to stop them.

If you look at what Russia is doing, they are trying to gain an extremely powerful military again, and they are positioning themselves like chess pieces around the world. Hmmmmmmmmm I don't like the looks of that.

Now, if you are talking about Israel Versus Russia in "Iran", like I stated earlier since that is closer to Israel in it's home territory. Israel would still win.

You have to keep in mind, that Iran has been quiet ever since Obama won the election, and is scared beyond belief. They know that Israel assumes that Obama and his Liberal Team of misfits will do nothing to help Israel, and screw up Americans Military like they always do. And ever since Obama won, Iran shut the hell up real quick, because they know that Israel now isn't going to wait for the United States permission or help to take on Iran. And Iran pretty much knows that Israel will attack them. And the Iranian military is worse than the Russian right now.

The Israeli Military has pretty much perfected an attack plan on Iran, and they have been practicing for it since May 2008.
They have the Fighter/Bombers to do the job , they have the Escort Fighters to protect the Fighter Bombers. They have the Electronic Interference Aircraft, and early warning Aircraft as well. They have the Tanker Aircraft to refuel, they have better missiles, Laser Guided Bombs, and more fire power than Iran does.

And why do you think President Bush not only ok'd the selling of the GBU-28's (Laser Guided Bunker Busters) and a brand new Missile Defense Radar System to Israel in July, but also sent American Troops to Israel to teach them how to use it?

He did that because Bush himself suspected Obama was going to win the election early on, and wanted Israel to have the best equipment for the job.

So even if Russia was to try to help Iran, inside Iran, Israel would win.

But like I said earlier Russia would win on the larger nation to nation war, because Israel lacks the long range offense weapons and equipment.
