Although virtually every Nigerian is corrupt in one way or the other, if I have to narrow it down to the political class, then the award of the most corrupt Nigerian alive has to go to the legendary Asiwaju of Greed - Bola Tinubu. Forget the likes of IBB and other Heads of State who are generally believed to have amassed billions of dollars during their regimes. Bola Tinubu is arguably the most compulsively and obsessively corrupt human being that has ever lived in the geographical space known as Nigeria. His penchant for primitive accumulation borders on a mental disorder of some sort, and I have no doubt that if the scale of his wealth is ever revealed, Nigerians would be shocked. |
rubii09:Leave Gowon out of this. Nobody has ever accused him of corruption. Both his admirers and detractors agree that he is one of the most dignified leaders we have ever had. For a military Head of State who ruled for 9 long years - during the oil boom - and presided over money-guzzling post-war reconstruction efforts, you have to agree that his corruption perception is extremely low, and nobody has ever accused him of stashing billions away somewhere. The man gets less praise than he deserves. |
Mbu is even more popular than the IGP (what's his name again?). I'm sure the IGP would be nursing a secret beef for him, but fortunately, there's nothing he can do. |
Serves them right. Any lousy 1diot that talks to Sahara Reporters deserves every consequence of such indiscretion. |
JustCalMeDBoss:Should be mutually enjoyed? Ideally, yes, but not always, not necessarily. Sometimes it has to be a selfless duty done entirely for the other person's satisfaction. Otherwise men wouldn't need to pay for sex - with the millions of ashewos and runs girls out there who satisfy them (note the selfless service) in exchange for something. Same applies to the millions of women who give their bodies to their old bosses, customers, lecturers, and other categories of 'big men' in return for sundry favours. I bet they didn't have to enjoy the sex in order to give it. Sex in a marriage is essentially a duty - a conjugal duty. You can't stop fulfilling your obligation simply because you claim not to enjoy it. Otherwise, you should exit the marriage. |
Anuofia. Go to Zone 2 headquarters in Onikan and sack him by yourself |
Are they actually playing chess or are they merely striking a "pretending-to-play-chess" pose for the cameras? These our celebs sef. They try too hard sometimes. This looks way too scripted. |
i have already told my mum to look for a wife for meIf you are the kind of omo mommy that would even contemplate telling mommy to find a wife for you (yikes), then I don't expect you to be the sort of Man who knows how to make his money work for him. Having money is one thing., knowing how to spend it and use it to your advantage is the main thing. That is where the real power is, otherwise you'll just be a money miss road mugu as described in your post. |
Marriage is no longer what it used to be. These new era girls think they are smart and enlightened, and have therefore developed an outsized sense of entitlement with unrealistic expectations, there is zero chance of coping with such. Simply can't deal. A Nigerian wife got married in December and merely two months after, storms out of her husband's house with threats of divorce merely because she saw a text. What a joke. They have turned marriage into something to be analysed with their Wendy Williams Show mentality. If it's not the old school sort of wives who know better than to make a mountain out of a molehill, then it's not worth it. Guys need to be firm on that. |
trailblazetech:Die hard followership on the Internet or where? A man that has never won his ward in any free and fair election? Whose daughter and other annointed candidates lost woefully at the polls in 2011 and subsequently? You people are deluded. |
azimibraun:Where is the insult in pointing out that OBJ has only one vote? Is that true or false? If you can't show me how that is an insult then you're clearly confused. |
dawood4good:What is nonsensical about pointing out that OBJ has only one vote? Does he have more than one vote? You people are confused. |
ZACHIE:The only fufu head and akpu head I see here is yours. How many votes does OBJ have if not one? A man that has always lost every election in his ward and could not even deliver his polling booth to his preferred candidate in 2011. You people give too much importance to this man and it is simply ridiculous. OBJ is more of a political liability than an asset to anybody. Buhari can have his useless one vote, Jonathan can do without that one vote. |
kushsy:It's easy to find excuses for any action. Okay let's say the problem here is small joystick, what is the guy supposed to do about it? Grow a longer dick? It's like saying you can't touch your wife because her Ass is too flat. I guess they knew these things before they married each other, so why get married if you're not satisfied with the other person's body? I don't like entertaining random excuses or blame game when these kinds of issues come up. |
fyneboi79:Even begging for sex kills my libido, no matter how beautiful or 'new' the girl is, not to talk of a wife at home... It's crucial to have several alternatives at any given point in time. |
pentag0nal:This right here is the problem. Religious and predictably faithful guys are often taken for granted and kicked around like a ball. No-nonsense worldly dudes who know their way around town don't suffer the same pathetic fate. |
DahomeyAmazon:I don't take oloshos to my house. If we agree on a price, I'll tell you the hotel where we would meet. |
wakacome:Foolishness is not a virtue, so don't wear it like a badge of honour on your chest. If you are a good student of history, you would know that food prices used to rise phenomenally during festive periods. Now because of the increased local food production due to the massive agricultural transformation, food prices remained stable thought the last Yuletide period. Something that is unprecedented. In spite of the fluctuations in the Naira exchange rate, food prices have remained stable - largely curtailing an inflationary trend. Why? Because of massive local production as opposed to food importation that used to be the case. What do we have to thank for this? GEJ's agricultural transformation. |
Johnnyessence:You people and your vague threats. After a heavy meal of amala and ewedu and the resultant constipation, you fart out useless threats. What exactly makes Lagos different from Port Harcourt and what is the "lesson" that you can teach Mbu? Go and assassinate him na if you can. Even your owambe Oba would be arrested alongside your god Tinubu and detained like common criminals if they try any nonsense. Mbu's job is to restore sanity and maintain law and order.... We all know that he is more than capable of doing an excellent job in that regard. |
DahomeyAmazon:What is this mongrel saying? You people have been brainwashed into thinking that the APC is some sort of all-powerful NAZI party in Lagos. Why can't "top APC official" be arrested? Oya come out with your thugs on election day and see what will happen to you. Ignoramus. |
Future IGP, I salute you. Carry on, we are solidly behind you. |
maestroferddi:I totally agree with this assessment. I find Muazu to be quite appealing and striking in many ways. Hopefully, he would have a greater role to play in Nigeria's politics in the build up to 2019. |
An African should arguably top the list. A 14th Century Malian King by the name Mansa Musa. Google him up and be awed. The likes of the Roman General Licinius Crassus (probably the second greediest man in history, after our very own Bola Tinubu ) should also be in the top 5. Bill Gates is about 10th or even lower in the definitive list I read some time ago. |
Very disingenuous talk. You don't want to be judged by your negative 1984 record, yet the ONLY so-called selling point of your presidential ambition is your 1984 perception of "integrity" and "incorruptibility"! If you want us to remember you for your so-called incorruptible stance in 1984, why should we not also remember you for the undoubted tyranny and sadism you displayed in the same 1984? You can't pick and choose for us. You want us to remember only what makes you marketable and forget the things that make you unmarketable! What a shameless hypocrite! |
Let them do their rally inside Amaechi's parlour. . Must they disturb the peace of Okrika people who have emphatically rejected them from the beginning? |
This old fool suffers from an acute diarrhoea of the mouth. That's why he just can't stop the endless flow of effluvium from his oral cavity. |
Promhize:The poor masses seem to like Jonathan a lot, and there is no doubt that they constitute majority of the actual voters who, after all said and done, would bear the inconvenience of turning up at the polling booths on election day - come rain or shine. In Lagos, I often engage okada riders, artisans, petty traders, and struggling regular Nigerians in Danfo buses in lighthearted political discourse, and I notice how eager they are to defend Jonathan. The common theme of their opinions is that 'dem dey chance Jonathan because the man na simple man wey dey quiet. Him dey try but dem no wan gree am work, dem think say na mumu. . . Dem carry Boko Haram com disturb him work... .anything wey happen dem go blame Jonathan". They also seem unanimous in their hatred for the APC and its draconian policies. I am saying this as an unbiased observer. |
Have you not wondered why you've never heard prof Soyinka publicly criticise the likes of Tinubu? He queues up daily at Tinubu's Bourdillon manor to collect rations of amala and ewedu. Such a shameless hustler who seems to think that it is more dignifying and less objectionable to hustle on the side of the opposition. |
Jarus:Oh well, but not withstanding. I still feel it is demeaning to seek validation (for that is what it is) in the international media at the slightest provocation. |
Jarus:No I will not jump at the opportunity, especially when they have a proven tendency to demean me and my country. Imagine the self-important hag called Amanpour cynically describing Nigeria's forthcoming presidential election as a contest between "a failed president and a former dictator".. It's not in her place to make such magisterial and derogatory declarations. I'd certainly put her in her place if I had the misfortune of being interviewed by her. |
I have a big problem with the penchant of our political leaders at all levels to seek validation from the foreign media. They only end up demeaning themselves and bringing ignominy to the fatherland. |
alnaijiri:Yea right. An ab0ki wanting disintegration is like a fish wanting to live outside water. Implausible. If ab0kis really want disintegration, Nigeria would have divided peacefully a LONG time ago. |
