the fact remains that if nnamdi kanu had succeeded in entering and leaving nigeria without being arrested, he would have been a successful billionnaire by now. he would have been on radio, yapping up and down on how untouchable he is and also canvassing for more money and donations from people. he would have been travelling to all countries where there are Igbos canvassing for money and support and using his trip to nigeria to convince them. he would have came up with all sort of lies on how he met with kings and queens and how he came to inspect the biafra army during his visit and how he is also inspected the biafra defence headquaters in onitsha and other lies. his coming to nigeria is akin to a fraudster taking his white maga to an arranged CBN office to wash dollars. a very risky move as the fraudster can be arrested, however, it is a key move that is used to prove legality hence they can bleed the maga dry. this exactly was nnamdi's tactic but it has backfired big time. |

I actually leave the booby in his mouth all through the night.cos he never seems tobget enough..he keeps crying..could that be a reason the reason is hunger! are you on EBF? if not, give him formula at night and watch him sleep happily. regarding mouth sucking. . . how old is your baby? my niece did the mouth sucking thing while she was teething however as soon as all her teeth sprung out and she was fully on solids (1year old + ), she stopped. |

goldmine: @ tatacherie good to know you and LO are doing well. About the ration of water to formula, please don't reduce it. Follow the instruction on the tin. I've read somewhere and also been adviced by a Dr that reduction or increment of the ration can make a baby to become I'll over a period of time . . big fat lie i live in a country where everything about a child is well monitored. my health visitor (that visits my baby at home to check on him and ensure he is well and hitting all his milestones) is fully aware/advised on reducing the ratio of water to the formula as she said its one of the main reasons why some babies are constipated. the cheaper brand you switched to will definitely contain a lower percentage of whatever composition when compared with the high end brands which is why your baby wasn't constipated even though you stuck to the guidelines on the team. my baby is on Aptamil. sticking to the Aptamil's suggested scoops leaves him constipated - i have tried this twice. |

mifavour: thanks diamond! but he's been like that since birth.. I'm just worried that he can't pass stool everyday. you should see his face when he wants to poop lol. I pray he outgrows it. I'll keep doing the hotwater thingy and the insertion one too.. you are blessed The other mamas have given you excellent advice. You have to watch the scoops of formula powder you put in his bottle. I always go a scoop less (sometimes 2 scoops less) than the recommended amount on the pack. Give him water first when he's hungry before feeding him with formula. This will ensure he takes a good quantity of water 'on empty stomach' and it will help in ensuring he passes stools often. For example, if he's due for a meal at noon and his usual quality is 50ml, give him 20ml water first and then 30ml formula. If he takes for example 6 bottle a day, apply this method for one or two meal times a day. Finally, make sure the water you give him to drink is warm. This also helps their digestive system and helps in preventing constipation. |

Iffffffy: with NHIS, you only pay 10per cent of d bills. Are those hospitals not NHIS approved? I'm just suprised with d high costs mamas are puttinh down. We're really lucky over here o, to think we only paid 10k for d bills which include cs and bed space for nine days. I'm curious @ bolded. Why are mothers made to stay so long in the hospital after CS in naija (with no complications after the CS)? I hear of stories where the naming ceremony is done at the hospital because mum and baby are yet to be discharged . At my end, it's a basic 2nights stay (except if there's complications). I was at the hospital for only 1 night before I was discharged. |

Not sure he and May Ellen had kids, but she (May Ellen), had a daughter from a previous relationship. Tpia. You are spot on. May Ellen and RMD never had kids together. She struggled to conceive and it was during the quest that she was diagnosed with fibroid. She had surgery to have it removed and that was when she died. She was older than RMD and she had a daughter from a previous relationship. The boy that got married is from another mum and RMD had him when he was still a teenager. |

I dnt knw what u mean by clinical purpose or what the shop is going to be used for but God forbid anything bad should happen in d shop she wil be arrested and sent to prison. Apart frm that its illegal for a nurse to run a clinic and more so, she was trained as an auxiliary nurse. Im just trying to point all this things out to you because you seem like a very good man who jas passed through a lot in life but things are now changing for the better. Luckily the baby was OK. I was immediately placed on gestone injection and progynova tabs /cyclogest. So later in the evening, I noticed the bleeding has stopped but subsequently I'm having this brownish discharge. On inquiry I was told its an old blood. Has anyone experienced this before and please how did you overcome it. I'm so worried. All is well dear. Stay off sex and anything strenuous till the end of your 1st trimester. Put yourself on self-imposed bed rest for the next few days, take plenty fluids and don't forget your daily folic acid. |

Anak123: Hello everyone, sure u all doing good. May our journeys all end in praise in Jesus name Ok so I went for ante natal yesterday,n all is well. Dey v been telling me right from time dat m gonna hv a CS( fibroids), but dey cant take out the fibroids during cs, fine, only for the gyne to say they will have to do the two together(delivery and myectomy). All costing 500k apart from several test ill have to do and having blood ready. Dont know y she wants to do them together now, n even if I want to do only cs it will be 200k plus, abeg dis money plenty o. Any doc in d house or any one with experience pls advice. Thinking of changing hospital (quality with lesser price ), any suggestion is welcome. 29weeksnow, baby weighing 1.3, largest fibroid measuring 10cm(they are much), n one is totally blocking the cervix. Thank you. Hugs n kisses. Ps. I stay in lag Haaaaaaa! Remove fibroids and deliver vis c-section at the same time? I beg you in Gods name. Don't try it or agree to it. The risk of death as a result of bleeding is very very very very very high. Many mothers have been sent to the grave from doing these two procedures together and now no doctor with his or her brains screwed right would l attempt it. It's just too risky. It's best to attempt delivery and when you've fully recovered then talk about dealing with the fibroids. CS on its own is a high risk procedure with major blood loss and then combining myectomy. . .hmmmmm I'm not trying to scare you but read the story in this link http://www.ladunliadinews.com/2014/12/how-i-lost-my-wife-after-giving-birth.html?m=1Trying to "kill two birds with one stone" by saving money and doing both procedures at once is very very very very dangerous. Do not put money before your health oh. Since your fibroids were big and numerous, you should have attempted removal (depending on your doctor's opinion) before conception. What they should do now is just put you under observation for the next few weeks (you are only 6 weeks away from the 36weeks mark) and do a section at 35-36 weeks because by then your baby will be full term. |

mompurity2: pls remove ur mind frm there. VB or CS dsnt matter, what matters is u and baby alive and healthy. I will go for 4D in my 12wks. Exactly. Britneystacy, mompurity2 is right. Just take your mind off it. I was diagnosed with fibroids (which have given me no issues apart from the odd cramp) before I got married. It didn't delay conception or affect my pregnancy in anyway. Mine wasn't blocking my cervix and I was told I would get vaginal delivery. I was also so sure I would get a V-birth because I had checked my scan results with different doctors and I kept on bugging my midwife to refer me to senior consultant gynaecologist (which she did) and they had all assured me the fibroid wasn't an issue. In fact by my 7th month, the fibroids weren't visible on the scan. However, during labour, my baby got distressed and I had to do an emergency c-section. It had absolutely nothing to do with the fibroids. So just relax, pray and enjoy your 9 months journey and don't stress yourself with the fibroids. All that matters is you and the baby alive and well. |

Definitely u can't stay too long away from your wife and kids but what we are saying is ,at times and in most often in countries where there is poverty like Nigeria ,men been the bread winner of the family have to make and take a decision of leaving their families in order to get food for them and this isn't peculiar to Nigerians alone but this is a universal norm which has been in existence since the creation of the world exactly. so on point. can i buy you a drink |

onatisi: sis, there are hundreds of couples who got separated due to financial strains or stress but immediately things picked up they came back together. Now let me ask u a question ,which is better ,being separated from a husband due to job or occupational reasons or being separated from husband due to marital problems between both of them? i stress again. you are the a very sensible and reasonable man. people really underestimate the strain that poor finances can have on a marriage. i just laugh at some of the comments here. even the bible says that ''a man that cannot take care of his home is worse than an infidel''. i find it laughable that some men will actually decide to be 'worse than infidels' or some women would rather prefer their husbands 'to be worse than infidels' rather than leave home to go to another country to hustle legitimately and provide for their wife and kid(s). even the isrealites had to leave egypt for cannanland which was the land flowing with milk and honey. why would any one stop their partner from finiding their own 'cannanland' and escaping 'captivity'? |

abbey621: When people get married, they are taking an oath for better or worse. In the struggle for survival, life sometimes forces you to make a decision such as parting with your family for sometime just to make a better way, would such a person choose to watch things get progressively worse or sacrifice now in order not to regret later. Of course life isn't perfect, sh*t happens and plans don't work out but not trying at all is the biggest mistake one can make.
For men who are afraid that if they left their wife alone for sometime she would cheat or become frustrated, I say to such men would such a woman not cheat or become frustrated if you couldn't afford to take care of her needs or you became inept? For women claiming the kids would be deprived of their father's love, I say to them would it not be worse watching the kids go through life not able to provide for their basic amenities? This world is a jungle, many of us must move out of our comfort zone in other to provide for those we love. Eat or be eaten! Another very realistic and sensible comment. kudos ! |

OBAGADAFFI: You probably don't know the guy called Jimoh.
The who couldn't pay his workers, yet insist they most attend parties.
He is one guys that Ruined Oceanic Bank, with his crooked legal agreement after collection huge loans.
Everybody in doing big business avoids him. The fact that he's a trained lawyer helps him in all his dodgy deals and makes him a very slippery eel. Obasanjo is also responsible for giving him wings. He was able to "acquire" most of these companies thanks to his obasanjo connection. He packaged himself like some decent business man and obasanjo fell for it. At a point, jimoh was regarded in the same light as Dangote and accorded respect until people discovered he's just a corporate fraudster. I doubt if Dangote or Otedola would like to be associated with him as they would not want to be stained by him. They must have deleted jimoh's number from their contact list ages ago. |
