Spicey2019:
Please avoid ARABIAN FALCON HOLIDAYS IN DUBAI!

Our family arrived at the Dubai airport and we met them. They approached us and started advertising their strategy to us.

We were smarter than they were. God saved us and it was our first time in Dubai!!

They are scammers and these group of people target only Nigerians.

Do not be a victim!!

Be warned.
. lol. They are not scammers. Just learn how to say no to them. I met them about two years ago in Dubai at the airport. They gave my wife and I a Dubai SIM and helped us. They even helped us to call our hotel we would be checking in late. So I was impressed because I didn't know them before They now told us to come for a seminar that they would give us a free trip. Well, we had a week to spend so we attended. They told us at the seminar to buy a flat in Jumeirah and we must deposit immediately. I told them no. They did everything possible and I said no. THEY STILL PAID FOR MY DESERT SAFARI FOR TWO IN DUBAI for attending the meeting. They gave us a slip and the driver came to pick us from our hotel and took us into the desert for the Safari. So, learn how to say no. They are selling all those properties in Dubai that you will be paying monthly.

Awwww.... How bruised is that fragile, albeit over-bloated ego? My very insincere apologies. Thank God for my "poverty", and stay blessed with your "wealth".

Seriously though, devote a little time out of your busy "money-making" schedule to work on your writing skills (A key part of communication). It was unduly tasking trying to make sense out of all that "corrective wisdom" up there.

It's been a rare privilege gleaning so much from your vast "knowledge". Now, you can ease up on all that tension in your head, and enjoy the rest of your evening. grin
Don't worry. I will work on my writing skills. Although, I can understand why it is so difficult for you to understand the simple English I wrote there. Your lack of proper education will obviously impede your comprehension skills. And we may have to blame your inability to attend good schools for that. Please, don't do same to your innocent children. That your parents were too poor to send you to good schools is not enough to punish your innocent children. Oya get the Bleep off my mention and go and make money.

Angelfrost:
Sigh... If this is all you could surmise from everything I posited, then I really can't help your poor comprehension...

But, for the sake of clarity, note the following:

1. I never said it was bad or such a terrible thing to put kids in such schools if you are predisposed to (look up the meaning of predisposition), hence, my use of the phrase "demand and supply".
2. It is true that certain individuals sent to such expensive schools come out successful. It's however very fallacious to claim all kids sent to such schools always come out successful in life, or more successful than those from lower schools.
3. Are all students and alumni of the schools under discourse under paid tuition? Are there no scholarship grants?
4. To your rather poor allusion to local schools, yes I would if their academic standard is worthy.
5. This is social media, and it's quite puerile to tell someone you don't know that he is poor. You have no factual inkling of my financial status, hence you have no basis to second guess me. cool
6. Finally, you will probably disagree, and further try to stretch your limited reasoning on this broad subject of life... Please, don't bother! It will definitely miss its mark.

P.S: For a person who claims to be well read, wealthy, and exposed, your writing skills border on the semi-literate, and pedestrian.

Do have a good evening.
I know where it will end. People like you with nothing upstairs end up correcting grammar. Read the rubbish you wrote up there and you have the boldness to be correcting grammar on social media. I don't need to know you physically to know that you are poor. At least, you have the mental state of a poor man and you can't be richer than your state of mind. In fact, it is so obvious you are trying too hard to write correct English with your over punctuation etc. Too many errors. 'under paid tution' ...what the hell is that? Under paying since you included present students. What is scholarship grants? Scholarship is scholarship. Grant is grant. And who told you everyone attending expensive schools comes out successful in life. But it gives them a better start and that is the most important thing that is required from a parent. The rest is left for the child. And please, your argument is shallow and you are proud at the same time. People that come to social media to correct English are the least exposed I've ever seen in life. My child just gained admission to a secondary school in Europe. English is not the main language of instruction in that school but students are fluent in English, french and at least German or Spanish.
Who told you English is a measure of literacy? Go out. In Japan, you have the best doctors, engineers etc in Asia and they learnt it in there local Japanese language. That is what I am saying about people like you. You know nothing about education. You are mistaken English and literacy for each other in one sentence. That singular fact is enough to tell you to raise money for your kids to attend such schools under discourse so they will have proper exposure and stop this ignorance of equating Grammar to sound education.

My good sir... You just erred greatly in your assumptions. First off, I schooled in a public school not because my parents couldn't afford private education... Secondly, I am extremely successful and wealthy for my age and time, which had nothing to do with my background. Infact, a lot of those kids from those posh schools are struggling today as adults, which greatly faults your "inter-connection" line of reasoning...

Now, let me drop some real education into you:...

1. Background (poor or wealthy) is nothing if one lacks the mentality and vision of greatness. Ask Bill Gates. Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, etc... Please, stop miseducating young people.
2. Intelligence transcends formal education, hence, my initial point.
3. I agree with connecting with wealthy people to learn their secrets, but that is not limited to anyone's background... Truth be told, internet and social media have gone a long way in bridging that ancient divide. Please, keep with the times., except you are from the backward North.
4. Finally, there is no limitation in life whatsoever... The only limitation is YOU.

Please, read carefully... And let me know if you require further clarification. Thank you. cool
you have said nothing that we all don't know already. But even in America, out of all those people you mentioned.... Bill gates went to havard. He may not finish there but to gain admission to havard will tell you something. Jeff bezos went to princeton, another ivy League. Zuckerberg started Facebook first to connect classmates in havard. Obama was in havard. He influenced his child to same school. Now you may say you can enter havard on scholarship, yes but we are in nigeria and the meaning is you need a lot of money to get that kind of education. Now to the most exclusive school in the world....LE- ROSEY IN SWITZERLAND. This is a school for billionaires. Kings send there kids there all the way from Saudi to UK etc. They park helicopters like cars during holidays. Guess what? No known rosean as they called themselves can be jobless in any country. As an alumni, you are Inna club of billionaires. Google is your friend. How much is the school fees? About 150k dollars per session. Roughly about 50 million naira. So let me school you further....we all know that you don't always need rich parent to make it but they can make your journey faster especially if you are intelligent. Our vice president is presently in Birmingham....celebrating the graduation of his son. So why not send the boy to EDE POLY since you don't need expensive education? And stop deceiving yourself....you are not rich. If not, you won't say a school fees of 5k dollars is too expensive when havard collects as high as 40k dollars

No demand, no supply... Vice versa. If there weren't vain parents with such excesses, such schools won't exist. I have no issue with this, it's every where in the world...

The only sad irony is that such fees don't guarantee your children success in life, especially in a country like Naija... But, then again, anyone who has such loose change probably can afford to relocate the child beyond these shores for a better life.

Realistically, I won't spend such even if I have it. For basic education? to what end? To prove what exactly?... we used to beat those wealthy kids from the best schools back then in quizzes and debates, including science competitions.
Think about it. You used to beat those wealthy kids from best schools in those days. Meaning as a kid, you were not among the wealthy kids and now as a parent, you are not even among rich parents. You know why? This your mentality. Those kids foundations are being laid by inter connection with fellow rich kids from day 1. Later on, they will marry themselves and give themselves contract. Education is not just the 2+2 competition you used to do....that will only require intelligence. The other part is exposure. You may beat them in maths but they are more exposed than you . Break the curse for your kids bro.

2. Know what birth certificates are for?? No, Dumbo. It is used to ascertain the ages of people. I'm sure COZA will document her date of assignment into positions in the church so with the help of those documents and her birth certificate, her age as at the time of the incident can be determined.

Why are a lot of rape apologists unintelligent?
calm down. The age of consent in Kwara state is 16yrs. Although the law was passed in 2006, prior to that, there was no definite age of consent in Kwara. Therefore, the lawyers can easily prove that the sex was consensual and if there were law that time for age of consent it would have been 16yrs.

I wish I can just travel out. that might b d best option. but getting visa isn't easy. We work in the same place, thats why I haven't left him since bops of plenty talk
See the way this one just turned husband to demon on nairaland as if she is faultless. Your age and previous fibroid operation gave me the clue. Two things....did you tell him you had a fibroid operation before getting married? From experience, most women that had a fibroid operation done prior to marriage usually had a very big fibroid that would have been impossible to get pregnant without removing it first. So they usually remove it first without telling the prospective man else most men would be scared at least in Africa. And they usually come down with adhesion meaning even the menses may no longer be coming. And they usually tell them to marry fast else the fibroid would grow back. So...it is you rather than the pastor or the man that forced the man into the marriage. Being in his mid forties, age is not also on his side, so having visited a doctor with you, he learnt about all these and became naturally anxious. His low sperm count is a late finding. Usually at his age, the sperm count may be a little low but with medical support he can impregnate. However, a combination of a woman with post myomectomy adhesion and low sperm at mid thirties and forties respectively is a tight one especially when the marriage was that of convenience. Stop demonising this man. You know what you did. Leave him for his own good.

NB
The fact that you are seriously looking for visa means you understand perfectly what I am saying. If you divorce him, getting a partner in Nigeria will be a challenge and you know it. Married @ 35yrs, previous fibroid operation, no pregnancy being the major reason for the divorce...every other thing na cover up. Risk of fibroid recurrence within 3yrs. Madam, be humble for once. While I am not saying you should die in a loveless marriage, stop making it look like you are the best woman the man can get and that he is not appreciating you. For Christ sake you are also abusing him emotionally. Your rant here shows it. By the way, I am a medical doctor who have counselled several couples in similar situation so I know exactly what I am saying.

1. Always ask questions

2. Try and locate any Top Immigration Officers (some) for your questions ( them don see money tire, so they are not interested in your change)

3. Avoid Junior Immigration Officers (most), them go always locate their fish.

4. Try locate Servicom ( If they ask from who, just be bold and avoid that question, tell them all your documents are arrange and complete and you are here for documentation and capturing).

5. At Servicom, avoid two shaprapra women by the name Musa or Bello or so, try dealing with Akpan, he is mature and responsible with is approach. At Servicom they will direct you to one opposite building called PTD or sometime.

6. Once you start moving from one stand to the other for stamp and signatures... Always ask questions of what next. The movement is direct. (Go with your original origin certificate and date of birth)

Those immigrations guys go always catch their fish once you are not prepared or you chose to use them.

HealthRe: How Doctors Forgot Sanitary Pad Inside Of Me - Woman Delivered Of Twins by helpee(m):
Where was the pad forgotten? Her vagina? It is possible they used the pad to pack her vagina to minimize or control bleeding after delivery. A careless nurse may forget it but usually the woman feels uncomfortable. She will start producing foul smelling odour and possibly vagina discharge within a few days. However, if she is saying they forgot the pad within her abdomen it will mean she was operated so that will be a lie. There is no way the doctor will do C section and forget a 3rd baby. Not possible because the doctor will repair back the womb so he would have seen the 3rd baby. But the first scenario I painted is possible and a 3rd baby with a separate placenta may be left in situ.

And let Nigerians and their government agencies pay their bills too.

People not paying up are making things bad for those of us who pay.

And this problem has been there from the days of NEPA.

I hate saying this, but facts is facts.

When GSM came to Nigeria, service was bad, but we paid high amounts then, and the money was invested in improving things. And prices went down.

Why are we shortchanging our discos?

And why expect light 24/7? We generate 5000mw. We need to get up to 20000mw or more. That costs money. Where are we going to get it? From the sky.

You are free to abuse me. I am tired of Nigerians who want free stuff. Nothing is free in Freetown.

Good morning
this early morning, you are just ranting. You talked about GSM, was it not the same Nigerians that paid for the poor services of the GSM in the early days before they improved? So? Why are they not paying now? The problem has been solved for you. Give them prepaid meter exactly like prepaid recharge cards that GSM people are using. You buy card, you get light. You don't buy card no light. Let us see who will not pay. But the discos want to keep collecting money without generating appropriate light. They know with prepaid, if an area don't have light for weeks, they don't get paid for weeks. So the discos are the fraudsters here not Nigerians. Direct your rant to the proper channel

go for dc ceiling fans, new pc/laptop model that consumes less than 60w, then put your TV on energy saving mode, change energy bulbs to 9w led bulbs(CTORCH product very bright) ALL PROBLEM SOLVED!

Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by helpee(m): 11:49am On May 26, 2019
wirinet:
I don't know how the other package would have worked. DC loads are only appropriate for small loads, but for loads of up to 1000w, you need an AC inverter system.
Nothing wrong with the inverter system, the only problem is your battery capacity, ie run time. If you can add 4 more batteries and 2 more panels, you should be alright.
In the alternative, you can reduce the load by replacing your appliances with energy efficient ones, change the desktop to laptop, change the fans to energy efficient ones, change the 42 in TV for 32 in ones and change the energy saving bulbs for LED ones. If you can reduce total load to about 700w, you will be OK.
Thanks so much. I will change all the fans In the coming week first to energy saving fans. So also all the remaining bulbs on it. Thanks so much for your input
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by helpee(m): 11:22am On May 26, 2019
wirinet:
The 33 bulb package is sound and will not give any issues. I like the fact that it runs directly from the controllers and hence no inverters. The whole 33 bulbs consume just 165watts, on a 12v system, the total amp drawn will not be more than 13.5a. With your battery being 400ah, a 12 hour night use will draw a total of 165ah. That's barely 40% DOD. Meanwhile the 6 solar panels will provide an average of 200ah per day.

For the inverter system things are a bit more complicated. Your load are certainly big, unless you are using a laptop which consumes about 80w, a desktop can consume up to 300w. 13 ceiling fans at an average of 80w, that's over 1000w. Then the LED TVs depending on size and make consumes about 35w each. You are looking at a total load of about 1500w, if running all loads at once. Running 1000w for 8hrs will run your battery down to 80%DOD, at which point your inverter will trip off.
Note that running your battery consistently at 80%DOD will kill your batteries within 6 to 8 months.
You are right. I am beginning to see sense in this. I just don't know how to re plan this. I would have gone with the other packages of that man with direct solar cos he has ready made packages. Like packages for 9 fans, 15 fans etc. Unfortunately, most of our electrical wares runs concurrently. We can have a full ward most times meaning up to 15 fans May even be on at the same time. The two TVs are 42 inches thereabout and usually on concurrently. The computer is almost permanently on. I think that was why separate packages would have been the best for me but I didn't know how to calculate those loads.

13 ceiling fans (especially the non energy saving fans which I saw someone selling her for 25k) is approximately 1300W which is a bit high considering the number of batteries you have. Hence the reason it may go off compared to the 5w bulbs system (5w*33bulbs= a mere 165w) whose load is much smaller.
okay. But they are normal ceiling fans. Are there energy saving ceiling fans maybe I can replace all the fans too. The fans are the normal ceiling fans we were using before as well as one small ox fan( the smallest size) which we put off by 11pm. not a good option, having 3 different setups in 1 house, omo this your installer, one of his names na kazeeem?, or his uncle ni?
1 simple package is best, would advice you stick to normal ac fans, solar/dc fans are not worth the stress in wiring, unless it has a dc/ac convertor, get 4 x 200ah batt, 6 x 250w panels, a 60amp charge controller, and you shud be fine, but if you are totally offgrid, u can make the panels 8.

33 bulbshuh!!..& you didnt state the wattage. seems u put bulbs on your fence, would advice you to change the bulbs to 5w or 6w bulbs,
Once again, thanks for your input. I now have two systems. Like I said, I paid for that 33 bulbs package first. It came with 33 LED solar bulbs(DC), 2 controllers, 2 200 amp batteries and 6 100w panels. The bulbs were 5w but very bright. I told him to create a completely new points for the 33 bulbs apart from security lights. He did it in such a way that the security lights goes by 7pm on its own and goes off by 7am on its own. Based on your advice, I now got a new single unit using my fformer 3.5kva inverter. This new company brought 4 200ah ALL GRAND BATTERIES, 6 340W SOLAR PANELS, 60AMP CHARGE CONTROLLER. I TOOK most of the bulbs away from from the unit allowing the initial 33 bulbs to run. So I have tested the two systems but I must confess, the guy with the 33 bulbs system is more reliable and efficient. I would have gone for his other packages. Why? The light is never off come what may. I run a hospital within but we don't put any big thing on the solar inverter other than one computer unit, 2 LED TVs and about 13 ceiling fans with some energy bulbs. But the single unit still trips off sometimes around 4am once there is no light. And you have the inverter to control as you wish. But for the direct solar...no inverter, you have nothing to worry about. You don't care about overloading it. Just on light and go. I think they have calculated it so much cos I begged him to make it 35points even if I will buy the bulbs and other stuffs but he said he was only generating energy to sustain the 33 bulbs for 24hrs. He said he could do it such that the light will only go on when someone enters the room and goes off when they leave but I told him I don't want. It means during the day, as long as someone is in the room, light must go on. Since there is light, we can as well put it off rather than running the battery down fast. So far so good, I have less to worry about the direct solar. Just press switch, you have light. No inverter to beep. Nothing to do at a for now. But the solar inverter ..you need to consider the load so you don't run down the battery fast. For the solar, it has been well structured for you. I am still observing the two systems but so far so good, it has never failed to bring bright lights both day and night. I would have considered his solar fan package too cos he said that one too will run anytime without failure but I didn't believe him.

My point remains valid that things aren't normal at NIS offices Nationwide
Bros, know what you want. Most of those people you are talking about didn't read about the requirement very well on the internet before getting there so they easily chicken out. The truth is....gather those documents exactly as stipulated there. You do interview in two places after the documents are well arranged. Go to nearby cyber cafe....they already know how to arrange it. Infact, those xybercafes already have fake guarantors, fake state of origin that those officers normally use. Buy a file there. Arrange it and go inside. Once they know you know what you are doing, you won't have problem and it is not that difficult but most Nigerians are lazy then come back to blame the people exploiting them. I told you I did something you are talking about luck only. They actually wanted to frustrate but I've read all the requirements ahead and I stood my ground. For example if I don't know about it, I would get stucked at the level of state of origin.i wouldn't want to go to village to get it so I would rather pay. Those are the issues. But I told them since the two parents have passports and the names are on the birth certificate why would they need state of origin. At the court, I needed to go and queue in a bank just to pay 100 naira for affidavit, some guys were using paga close by with 500 naira. Don't discourage people. I met several people there that came all the way from Lagos as early as 8am and we all finished around the same time cos I gathered my documents myself already and paid online and printed all the acknowledgement online. I just added luck to it...but it is very doable

guy, I will advice you to enter your room, lock it up, kneel down and thank God for the disqualification.

I wished I was disqualified when Polaris bank invited me for aptitude test or better still I wished they never invited me in the first place. after passing tru the aptitude test, goin to Lagos fr interview I was sent a regret letter.

this banks will make u think all is well but all is not well. imagin going to Kano from gombe state fr aptitude test and gombe to Lagos for interview...... think abt the expenses, the little money I was having managin ma life is now gone.

the whole system in Nigeria is a mess up.... you need connection for everything.

maybe God is hlpin u to avoid sm unnecessary expenses. when ur tym come biliv me bro no one will disqualify u.

cheer up .... I understand that feelings
Bros....that you travelled from gombe to Kano for interview does not mean the bank must employ an incompetent applicant now. So you want to blackmail them into employing you. If they employ everybody that applied where will they get money to pay salaries. They have employed the best. If there are private nursery schools around, apply there for now. When you gain enough experience teaching kindergarten class, you can put it in your CV and maybe, just maybe they can employ you. For now, no be say you no no person, you no just qualify. Stop using emotional blackmail

Bros....you be Methuselah ? We know you need the job but if you can't be truthful in age that is just a number, why should we put you behind money which is the root of all evils. Your experience is needed in the adult school. You will make a good teacher in adult literacy class since your mates will be there. You will just flow naturally. You slapped me?

Things are not normal in Nigeria at all. I know things are hard, but if you want to follow due process, I'm sorry, you'll have to wait a long time.

I live in Lagos and had to travel to Abeokuta to renew my passport. Isn't that insanity? I did it in Alausa, 5 years ago, but same Alausa told me to bring ₦60,000 to get it renewed. Is that a normal thing?

In Ogun State, I paid ₦35,000 and was assisted by a high ranking immigration officer. I saw how my file was smuggled in for me to capture, while others that wanted normal route had no hope of being captured. They kept them in a hall, without treating their files.

Nigeria is becoming a failed state
Not true. I applied online for my kids and chose abeokuta. I printed the forms and went there with my wife and both our passports. The moment i got there they wanted to frustrate me, i raised my voice slightly and stood my ground. They said they needed a guarantor i told them i am guaranteeing my children . They said i should go to high court and swear affidavit. luckily it was a stone throw from the office. i did that within thirty minutes. They requested for state of origin....i told them since both the mother and father have passports i dont need that again. I went to the business centre close by. Luckily the woman there was the one arranging the files for the officers themselves. she arranged them for me and i took it around for signing myself. We got to the office by 12noon and by 4,30 they did capturing and i got all the passports in five days. This was last year october though i dont know about today. The truth is my own is even more genuine because the officers usually arrange fake guarantors and fake state of origin for you when you pay them. I didnt pay a kobo extra....i repeat i didnt pay a kobo extra. I may be lucky though but that was how i saved a lot on 3 children

not a good option, having 3 different setups in 1 house, omo this your installer, one of his names na kazeeem?, or his uncle ni?
1 simple package is best, would advice you stick to normal ac fans, solar/dc fans are not worth the stress in wiring, unless it has a dc/ac convertor, get 4 x 200ah batt, 6 x 250w panels, a 60amp charge controller, and you shud be fine, but if you are totally offgrid, u can make the panels 8.

33 bulbshuh!!..& you didnt state the wattage. seems u put bulbs on your fence, would advice you to change the bulbs to 5w or 6w bulbs,
Thanks so much. Unfortunately, i got replies here late but ive only paid 500k for the lightning package alone. He bought two 200ah luminous batteries, 6 100 watts panel and 33 solar bulbs. i will allow him to install his 33 bulbs tomorrow and like you advised, i will now buy batteries and panels for my 3.5kva luminous inverter. Actually, i have close to 80 bulbs so the remaining 40+ bulbs will be on the 3.5kva with your specification above and about 14 fans. Actually, i have a hospital behind and a duplex for my residence in front that is the reason why the number of bulbs is that much
