I have a registered business, 34, I had been denied student visa twice last year , married and my wife's convocation is in April as I planned applying to go for her convocation on b1/2 visa by then. I planned spending not more than a week as my business is highly demanding. I planned getting a landed property soon for personal reasons. My monthly average is 180k. What are my chances please. All kinds of comments are totally welcome.

Thanks
bros...with 180k monthly income, how you wan take show say your business is highly demanding so you won't spend more than one week? Moreso, this same demanding business was there when you wanted to go and study last year and you were denied twice. Assuming the business is highly demanding, why would you abadon it for years of study? So, if you could abadon the business for studies in USA last year, how do you want to prove that you won't abadon same business this year if given a visa? Moreso, your wife is already in USA. So you want to go and join her and continue with the family hussle? If you no get another story apart from this one, don't waste your money. No VO will be convinced

Good morning house, kindly advise please.
So hubby was denied USA visa on Thursday.however,he has reapplied and has an interview next Thursday.
From his interview,
Vo: regular questions on names, passport, are you married, kids etc
Then
Vo: why are u going to USA
Hubby: I am going for a conference
Vo: how long will you be staying
Hubby : 7 days
Vo: have you visited any country in the last 5 yrs
Hubby: yes. UK,UAE,Singapore
Vo: where do you work
Hubby: I work with ***** oil and gas as an offshore engineer
Vo: explain more
Hubby: I work offshore (on the rig) doing *****
Vo handed him the pink note of refusal.

No further questions where asked about his salary etc.

Kindly advice on what he can do better as he is going for another one.

Note the conference is and oil and gas conference which he is a member of the association.

The conference is this September.
whaoh. How do you guys get interview date within one week. If he was denied last week and he already got a new interview date again . The profile is okay as far as I can see. Something hidden somewhere. Your husband over stayed any of the visa? Has been denied USA visa before? The conference has no bearing on work? If it is self sponsored, is he on leave or what? Why take a break from work for a self sponsored conference that has no bearing on work? I don't know o but his profile appears strong. However, getting a reversal within one week is unlikely. Why is the conference so important he must attend that you are applying within one week? Has he paid so much for the conference? It is not like he is going for masters that resumption date is so close hence need to reapply. The fact that he is reapplying in a week may mean the ECO is right. This may be more than a conference....by and large, we should stop wasting money on American visa. The denial rate is too high. Unless it is extremely important, go else where for vacation till our image is better

Thank you, but is it a bad thing that my choice is US? Anyway if that's how it is I'll go elsewhere when I find somewhere I'd 'like' to visit, also my mum is sponsoring me.
Not at all bros. Unfortunately, if you ask 10 people their choice too , eight of them will say America is their choice. Since they can't accommodate everyone and since on a chance of probability, almost 30 percent of people on tourist visa will try to game the system and not return, they have no choice than to allow people with reasonable chance of returning. Between you and I, you know deep down that the only reason your mum is sending you on vacation to America is not just for fun...it is to prepare ground for your eventual immigration. But imagine if you are earning say 500k in Nigeria. It is not much but unless you get a good offer in America you won't just run away like that without thinking twice. Also, imagine if you have travelled to UK you didn't run away. You went to Germany you didn't run away...while it is not foolproof, at least you are not absolutely desperate else you would have abused the visa. So it is not fair that the VO will say why America first. But in your case... it is a very relevant question. Your mum may not want to waste money to send you to Mauritius cos you know it is a dead end but if you go....it means you really want to vacate and not to run away. That is the way it works. If you really want to go on vacation and the money is available truly for fun, if they deny you American visa, you go to Seychelles island. Going back to reapply immediately especially when you know nobody in America shows the intention is not vacation. So take the advice and go elsewhere first.

Uhm I did it myself, I clearly stated that i went to Benin Republic for studies(I school there and my passport was stamped when I passed the border last year)
And my school took us for excursion in Ghana.

I just wanted to know if I can change the answer to the question in my DS160 form ( do you know anyone in the US) to yes
you really assumed a Yes answer to this question would work in your favour. Either way, it won't. If you answered no as a student, why would you want to vacate in America without knowing anybody there and it is your very first vacation? You will spend thousands of dollars as a student just to go and sightsee alone America when you are not working and it is not as if you are going to visit someone that is close to you. On the other hand, if you say yes, the VO may also assume the person will help you to stay illegally since the person knows about the system and you have nothing to lose...you can abadon your studies and start afresh. If God help you and the person also got to America first with a visit visa before changing status, na automatic denial. Bottom line, the answer to that question will not change the outcome whichever way you answered it. You have no ties. No job, no wife, no family yet you are going on vacation in far away America as a student .
Start small...and build it up. If vacation is really your aim, start with Mauritius, South Africa, Kenya. Even if you also plan to elope which is not advisable, there is still no short cut given your circumstances. Don't waste your money to reapply soon without travelling elsewhere first. You will likely be denied again.

Hi house, my interview is next week. Please I want us to criticize this my proposed Transcript and what to take along. No abuse please

Vo : passport please
Me : good morning while I pass my passport
Vo : why are you going to the US
Me: for vacation and visit ****** and family
Vo : how long will you be staying
Me : 3weeks
Vo :How do you know ***** and family
Me : **** is my auntY friends ****and she is the Co ordination of Bleep program in USA while am the moderator in Nigeria that make us communicate alot
Vo: what do you do presently
Me : I work in ******
Vo : are you married
Me : yes with kid
Vo: do you have any travel experience
Me : no, coz this Is the first time I'm granted leave at work
Vo : how much do you earn monthly
Me : ******
You get plenty red flag. First time leave na straight to America. I know you will say why not but I am just telling you the way the VO reason. You no go Kenya, you no go Dubai, you no go OBUDU RESORT, na America straight. Most VO's won't be convinced.
Moreso, you are married and you are travelling alone. Meaning money may be the problem. Most VO's believe for a family man, vacation is better spent as a family. Now your very first vacation in a long time, you are supposed to take your wife and kid to OBUDU or Ghana for a memorable holiday but you prefer to spend it in America. Only God knows when next they will give you leave at work meaning your innocent wife will still be denied quality time with hubby for a long time simply because hubby want to go to America.
Sorry, I am not convinced thus time you are not trying to JAPA....you may apply another time

NB....let me be serious here. The moment you tell the VO you are married, he will want to know why you are not travelling with hubby. If you say she no get leave, he will just pass and deny you . Quote me for that. And even if you go with them, he will ask wether you have travelled together as a family before. If you say no, he will in 90percent of the cases deny you. Meaning....take them to South Africa first so that we know you are genuine tourist. Nevertheless, I am not a VO and people in your shoes have been granted visa before although ninety percent of people in your shoes will be denied. Go with plenty of luck.

Uncommon medical tools........... Mitt is very effective, have you seen a patient in itu or hdu.... Pull off the mitts......

My answer is NO.......
Bottom line is they don't have your Mitt in Ukraine or they don't believe it is as effective as those ropes. And if that guy had made it, he would have been grateful they tied him like Rago as long as he made it. Unfortunately, the guy didn't make it and all you could see is ABUSE. People still practice in places where they are challenged in terms of facilities and they still make a lot of difference and even abroad, they still tie people like Rago. At least, gynaecologist worldwide still use stirops to tie women like Rago and they are not complaining

I have not said you should sue, but simply creating awareness of an alternative device. Rather than tie a patient, like a criminal..........
so you now agree there are alternative devices. I thought you said restraint is bad. All they need to do is assign four hefty nurses to hold him down and observe him according to you. Anyway, if we are living in a village and we don't have your alternative device....should we just allow the patient to keep pulling the tubes or is it still abuse if we restrain them? No. You go back and read it slowly. You need to put your over Sabi to one corner. Yes. You can be sued if you restrained a patient against their wish. So, what is the wish of this unconscious patient? Who told you the family members didn't give informed consent before restraint? Moreso, you said most states have laws governing restraint...yes, just follow the law. It means you can restrain somebody once the law of a particular state is followed....so what don't you understand there?

NB.....you even said they are sued because they didn't take precautions not because they restrained patient.....so before you restrain a patient...take precautions, documents reasons and consent if any taken.

So do we accept you also screenshot jargons..........
the screenshot is enough to tell you that up till today, some patients are placed under physical restraint in UK and it is allowed. Even in USA. The screenshot is from NHS . That is all that matters. Meanwhile, the circumstances of this patient is different from UK so all your MCA jargon is irrelevant to this particular patient but every country... including UK adopts physical restraint occasionally

Don't just screenshot and post legislations, without understanding the content of the legislation..... Even patients under MCA, would never have limbs tied......
you are talking jargons. This patient is in Ukraine so what MCA protocol are you talking about ?

Do you practice within the NHS sector?..... huh
what has this gotten to do with the fact that even in UK and indeed all over the world, some circumstances warrant physical restraint either in emergency or psychiatry. However, the restraint must not be punitive, must be proportional to the degree of damage or danger the patient will pose to self or others.....and even if you don't believe in such practice, since it is not illegal in ukraine, you can't call it abuse simply because it is against your own practice. Moreso, it is not every facility that have enough manpower to assign two nurses to be monitoring a patient in a busy ward. Reality in practice in understaffed setting means something like this is inevitable. By the way, it is not illegal in ukraine sohuh

Physically restricting a patient, is bad practice....... Not to talk of placing ropes on all his limbs and knotting him in bed.......
So after putting him on close observation and he keeps removing it what do you do? They didn't tie him to bed...they were restraining him

Did you say nursing precaution? It's abuse.... Pure and simple.........
That's called physical restraint in medical parlance. And someone was educating you you were still saying it is abuse. Since the guy was not conscious, he would be trying to remove anything that was making him uncomfortable subconsciously including oxygen tubes etc so you physically restrain them.

You don't really need this. You don't have to be spoon-fed. They have told you some schools accept. If I were you, by now I will know all the schools. You rarely need more than five hours on the internet to get the full gist. After all, you are an intending student. Don't be afraid to Google and research things for yourself. The journey is long so you need to be independent. Seek for guidance but research yourself.

If only I had gone through this route instead of being stucked in this abeokuta shit...so annoying it's a month now still no passport
You just kept saying same thing. Your question here helped me too and I was surprised you didn't act on the tip transformium gave you. Let me tell you my own. I went to renew at Abeokuta six weeks ago with my wife. I did it all online myself for both of us. We paid 17k online each. I went to the cyber cafe in Abeokuta and bought files and did it. Same day I did capturing with my wife. We went back two weeks later only to be told it was not ready. So I now said let us fast track since we needed it urgently. I met one officer, we negotiated to pay 12k each per person making 24k for it to come out the following day. I paid him. The following day, I was already on my way back to Abeokuta when the guy called me and said no materials. I kept my cool. He kept saying no paper today, machine spoilt tommorrow, only 64 pages is available but I was following your update with that of transformium. Then on Thursday, I saw his update where he said he got his own. That was when I called the guy and he still said same story. That was how I went to the Twitter handle of immigration like transformium suggested. I told them the guy collected money from me after I did it online and he kept giving me stories. Guess what? They called Abeokuta all the way from Abuja. The main PCO at Abeokuta called me by 1pm and begged me on phone and said if I could come down with my wife same day but I told them till Monday. I went there with my wife yesterday, they quickly gave us the passport and the PCO collected our 24k from the guy and gave it back to us. You are the one that asked transformium and you didn't follow his advice. I was like a big boss yesterday. We were ushered like VIP into the PCO office, the mumu guy was standing behind us while the PCO lambasted him. Go to their Twitter handle. It works like magic and I even collected my money back
