Also... defending charges with personal need is already old. Many professionals in many fields also have expenses too. I made several instances of what makes me reluctant. Dont base your essays on just the first. Also... we all would go straight to the govt hospitals if not for the fact tht they are already packed full and you wait hours in line for treatment.

you want him to be exhaustive but when the doctor mentioned money you kept quiet. why didnt you pay for more investigations like you said? hospitals dont sell drugs like pharmacies. they sell services. the cost of the services is inbuilt in the cost of the drugs. the consultation is meant to pay the salaries of the doctors...somebody must pay for rent, medical waste disposal, power and several exhorbitant cost. learn how to pay ist then complain later

This is becoming nauseating. Everyday we are just kept busy with EFCC stories while the economy is nosediving. Ironically, it is a PDP senator in the name of BEN BRUCE that is trying to lead the economic revolution or at least a semblance of it. There is no law yet in Nigeria that says parties must disclose their source of campaign funds so which one is this that EFCC want to know the source of PDP campaign money. Who will probe the source of APC campaign fund? This is what morsi and his islamic party was busy doing in Egypt and the rest they say is history. Though i didnt read the entire article since its not posted here but i think what you are talking about mainly is that govt should legislate to protect local industries against cheap imports. Either you are criticizing for the sake of it or you dont know anything about nigeria.
First, it was govt policy to protect local industry that started the pressure on naira. Govt banned some products importers from accessing dollars at the normal official rate thereby making importing such products more expensive to encourage local production. Thats a good start so we dont need any further legislation at least for now that will further cripple the naira in the interim. More so, the dollar is so so expensive now and may eventually hit 1000naira per dollar. what other incentive do local manufacturers need? the economy is already encouraging local manufacturers so what we need to do is to just follow the trend. imagine if dollar hit a thousand naira....you will need up to 10million to buy an average tokunbo vehicle and if we buy from innoson, even brand new jeep may not cost up to that so the economy is naturally favouring local manufacturing. we dont need to wait till its too late before we start. Give it to these guys....they are the only reasonable people giving us the best option to sustain this country now not your yeye legislation that may not be implemented once there is no will. #savethenairabuynaijamade and stop your useless criticism of an obvious ingenious solution to our immediate problem.

I met this young man when i was 21 and he was 24 we dated 4 years, we were both struggling, we stayed with each other and help each other to grow.

We grow to become successful and i became very influential in my field and he was so proud of that.

I told him that will not be a good idea, going from Mowe to Victoria Island everyday will be terrible for me since we can afford a house in Lagos at least for now or we stay where he is staying currently, he maintained he cant change, we could not reach an agreement on that, the next thing i got a shocker, he traveled for event outside Lagos to the east, where he comes from, only to get attracted to a girl he met there and came boldly to tell me, if i cannot marry him and stay at mowe, there are so many good girls who will rush the offer and in annoyance i told him, have you found one please marry her.

To my surprise few days after i saw a photo of him and that girl he just met, less than two months all over social media, he has engaged her.

Initially i was pained, but let's face it he doesn't deserve my tears, his groups of friends started calling my line to ask when we stopped dating since we still stepped out recently to his friend birthday.

I didnt know what to say i asked them to ask him, things went that way and i started hurting, after he did official intro to the girl i knew it was over, i called him and told him i wish him happiness and best of luck with his wife to be.

He felt bad but said he knew i was a good person that he is not shocked i called, i ask him to keep me updated on wedding plans and he did and i told him i will attend he said he will be grateful.

Ayodele hospital is an abyss of death. It is structured, founded to kill people. My uncle was admitted here sometime last year after been diagnosed of ulcer of the intestine. Ayodele Dr placed him on observation and several tests were ran. He was their for 10days, and they advised us not to feed him. How will you not feed an illing body? After 7days the man lost his strength and could hardly talk. By then we have spent close to 500,000 on test and other medical stuffs. On the 10th day the Dr advised that we shld take him somewhere else, that none of the test he carried out yielded any known result. Right there, I knew we have been scammed. We took him to Republic of Benin afterwards and they said we have starved him for far too long...he died the second day. Ayodele hospital is a house horror. Be careful please.

what you just described here is like scratching the surface. you are probably describing a perforated gut. you wont spend 500k on ulcer if it is not seriously complicated. if it is a perforated gut, they will likely not allow him to eat for a long time. the problem we have in nigeria is that we practically dont have means of administering real parenteral nutrition. yes you can starve a seriously sick patient of food orally. you mean the only thing they diagnosed in republic of benin was HUNGER/STARVATION and he still died the second day. Ngeria is messed up really but it is not everything that is the fault of the doctor.

nigerians just hear one side of the story and the next thing is that the hospital must be closed. na wah oh. My guess is this... the baby was very very sick. once they tell you at general hospital they dont have a bed space, know for sure it is a bad case. general hospital will never directly tell you they dont want to accept a bad case, they will tell you no bed. If they had gone to ayinke too, they would have been referred to LUTH on account of no bed. You blame ayodele for power failure....what if the generators refused to work which has happened severall times before? Ayodele must be blamed too for the negligence of NEPA and our govt. This patient probably didnt deposit a kobo, thats why they wanted to collect their medical fee at least the baby was on oxygen before light went off. i am not holding brief for ayodele but i can guess what happens in private hospital. By the time the management responds, you will know this is likely the scenario. RIP beautiful child
