Was Dasuki invited to appear before the panel? Did Dasuki show up? He has no beans to spill, even if he has anything to reveal he should be answerable to the panel - any beans Dasuki wants to spill should be spilled before the panel carrying out thorough investigation and not to the Nigarians. We the citizens do not enough access to original information so Dasuki can say anything to dislodge the accusation of the Panel and the Panel also can say any thing to dislodge Dasuki's claims.

It's not so much about the facilities but the appalling attitude of staff and extreme lack of empathy to patients
We are talking jaundice and you re mentioning ECMO ??!? Even in the UK how many ECMO centers are there?
Simple things like taking a good history , keep baby under blue light/phototherapy , blood exchange
As for the bolded, jaundice from what .......that's for the doctors and nurses to find out and tell us.
You can study to the highest level and provide all the multi million equipment
But if your attitude stinks from a mile away......you re in the wrong vocation.

I appreciate your write up but in some cases it's also negligence and carelessness from doctors. I lost my son few weeks ago after being born 4days later to jaundice. Despite the fact my wife kept alerting them that she has an history with jaundice from the theater where she had a casseran procedure. It's a story I don't want to start writing about right now but the child should not be dead if not for carelessness from the hospital doctors. Everyone keeps telling me to sue the hospital I v just decided to let go.

Such sad stories abound in Nigerian hospitals. They will always say "we are sorry for ur loss". The next thing the family will start blaming evil forces for their misfortunes while the Dr goes free from his incompetence.

Doctors make mistakes and patients become victims. They are left to bear the pains alone. Years ago, a doctor gave me an overdose of aldomet which led to shock while in labour. He later discharged me with 6g haemoglobin (18 %) blood and God saved my life.

Just last year another Dr. delayed in carrying out CS for my son when I fell into preterm labour. The child went into crisis later on and we lost him even aft taking him to NICU & spending much. The pains were much but we've since moved on.


The truth is that Drs make profits while patients count losses. Some of them are agents of .....

I don't normally banter words with people like you but let me make an exception and look at you and Buhari vis who needs who. You are probably in your 20s, in school or building a career, if you have any. Buhari is in his 70s, with an accomplished career in the armed forces and highest level of leadership. In other words, he doesn't need a job or career; you do. 2). Buhari, has looked at how things have changed for the worse overtime and offered to serve. He wants you to have a future. Meanwhile you want a continuation of the norm, or even further slide. Millions of Nigerians (I doubt if you were among) preferred him to lead; among all the candidates. I doubt if he needs you more. But you are correct to say you have as much stake in this country. But you should get involved as much as Buhari is involved to rebuild what was destroyed.

He declared his assets so that those who have claims and objections can to to the Code of Conduct Bureau, but they chose to raise their objection on Nairaland. Corruption is really fighting back.
