From the person who needed strangers' bet accounts to deposit and withdraw money, to the student who offers the risky service only to start telling stories when it was time to withdraw and return the money deposited to his betting account, as his terms and conditions stipulate

What you describe is known as a "money mule". Where you channel funds through an online exchange, then to a user's bank and transfer back to the host. I read a few user experiences recently, though this person case is funds moved to crypto > bank > transfer.
For the benefit of doubt, one can't always assume.

When I 1st read about ur issue with that guy, the question I kept asking myself is what could have been the reason behind using people's bet accounts to deposit and withdraw money. I was somehow disappointed to find out that u actually do offer such risky service, having known and seen u as a relatively smart person on this forum. Like, you allow people to use ur bet account to receive funds that u don't know its source(s)? For payment of how much ni? Lol

Well, you have been badly painted as a scammer, the task is on u to clear ur name. And u can simply do that by providing ur statement of account. It will also cost you nothing to take ur client or any of his representative to ur bank, if truly you are saying the truth

Hi there Mr. Tabbaz, concerning the issue with Geoffrey Ifeanyi Ebuka Obi, phone number used in contacting me +2349048763136 or simply 09048763136 (there are other numbers but, primarily this)
His preferred receiving account for these transactions: Kuda 2003321856 but, on request Zenith 2213345341 or First bank 3056354055.
He requested the need of using multiple accounts on a particular bookmaker (Nairabet) to do his stuff a few weeks ago. The first account I provided worked out till it was suspended by Nairabet, the second was what went wrong.
He withdrew from the second account twice at different times. I saw the alert for the most recent one (screenshot below) but noticed that the account balance doesn't match with what was credited. I believe it wasn't a fake alert since the message was "marked as read" only.
I asked several people concerning this with different answers; maybe it is in the ledger, contact your bank, just wait, maybe it's the network etc.
I contacted both my bank and Nairabet.
A test transfer of N100 from Arigbede Waraola Victoria was carried out but, no changes in account balance. (Screenshot below)
It was the weekend, so I had to wait till the following week to visit a Zenith bank branch. Bank CC said they would look into it and all that, I was told to bring stuff like utility bills, any valid ID and transaction info.
Nairabet said they are sure the withdrawal was successful via their payment gateway and insisted I contact my bank.
I had a different transaction that wasn't successful around that time (less details on that). I went to the bank again. I asked if they could show me my balance information and stuff, I saw it myself; she showed me something called ledger. I asked her, how can I make a transfer wIth it? she said I can only make use of my available balance for transactions. I was told to wait 3 working days and try again, still no avail, same thing again after visiting the branch repeatedly.
As for the app, it is working (signed in) and updated. (Screenshot below) Mr. Tabbaz let me know if you need some live/video calls on its history, login or need to access.
Note: I haven't gone to the bank this week, but I'm looking forward to Friday.

This is not about Lawyer or not. The accuser should file a report at the appropriate quarter and then allow the law to take its course. At court of law, the accuser is expected to prove his case, while the accused is equally expected to defend himself, before any pronouncement can be made.

The accuser might end up implicating himself, if he does anything outside the law, as people are already suggesting for him.

On the 20th of June, 2022, Sheyi Shobayo announced that he has 2 remaining slots, out of 7 for anyone interested in getting a Canadian work permit (visa) which will cost 2.350.000 (Two million, three hundred and fifty thousand naira). He gave a time frame of 90 days. According to him, if visa was not issued after 90 days, the initial deposit of 450,000 Naira would be returned.

Upon receipt of the mail, I contacted him and he asked me to pay so they can start working as the documents are on ground. I transferred the sum of 450,000 naira from my GTBANK account to his KUDA MFBANK as requested by him.

22nd June, 2022, he asked for several details to enable him file the application. I was under the impression that he had secured the work contract and ready to file for visa; I obliged him all the details he requested.

5th of July, 2022, he demanded for visa/biometrics fees. Equivalent of $240 was sent to him in naira.

July 26th, 2022, a friend my mine whose name is Blessing Nneka Obasai, said she would be interested in the Canadian work permit offer. I contacted Sheyi Shobayo, he said he could take one more person. Same day, Blessing Nneka Obasi transferred the sum of 450,000 into his account (Wema Bank:Sposh Travels and Tours: 7810732125)

12th of August, 2022, Sheyi Shobayo sent a message asking where I would like to go for my biometrics? Lagos, I said.

14th of September, Sheyi Shobayo sent another messge via whatsapp, saying that my job would be ready, same week. I reminded him that over 1 month ago, he said my biometrics letter was going to be out. But there's no update on that. On this same date, he sent a biometrics letter to Miss. Nneka Obasi, asking her to go for her biometrics in Ghana. She was told that she couldn't do it in Ghana, that she has to go back to Lagos for her biometrics.


Nneka Obasi had to travel down to Lagos, the following week so she could do her biometrics. She spent over 2 weeks in Lagos but Sheyi Shobayo couldn't come up with another biometrics letter as promised. Instead, he denied being aware she was in Lagos. Even when I sent him a message, informing him that she was in Lagos for her biometrics.

After the 14th of September, I asked Sheyi Shobayo for update on my application? He couldn't give me a tangible response. On the 23rd, 29th, and 30th September, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 11th of October, I sent him series of messages, asking when I'll get my biometrics letter? Most of them, he ignored.

On the 13th of October, 2022, at about 2.18pm, Sheyi Shobayo sent me a biometrics letter which he received on the 15th of September. Now, the biometrics letter was going to expire the next day. It was valid for 30 days. He said I should not go to VFS the next day because there won't be space for me. That he has to apply for another biometrics letter. I asked why he waited till after 27 days before sending the letter to me? He said he forgot.

5 weeks went by, and there was no biometrics letter. Nneka Obasi asked Sheyi Shobayo to send back her money. It was over 3 months, already and no sign of progress. At a point, she stopped chatting with him because she complained that Sheyi Shobayo is a rude person and lacks manners. So, I was the person talking to Sheyi on our behalf.

On the 16th of November, I asked Sheyi Shobayo to return all monies sent to him. As there's no proof that we are making progress. He insisted that the process was on and needed more time. On the 29th of November, he sent me a mail and asked me to get in touch with Nneka. That she should come back to Lagos for her biometrics. When I studied the correspondence, I realized that Sheyi Shobayo applied for a visit visa for Nneka Obasi. When I asked why the visa application changed from work permit to tourist visa? He said it's visitor to work permit. I told him that it is NOT possible to convert Canadian visit visa to work permit. He claimed that it was his job.

When I questioned him further, he told me that he was processing a working holiday visa. I asked him to send me a link from Canadian website because I know that Nigeria doesn't participate in the IEC visa. He took offense and has been ignoring my messages, ever since

Being aware of the trick he wanted to play, we decided that he must return the money we gave him. He has failed to process a Canadian work permit as agreed, within the 90 days time frame. This is the 6th month, I have not gone for biometrics. The biometrics letter he sent to me was scrutinized and I found out that he also applied for a visit visa for me. That was not our agreement. His story for non performance is unending and it has become obvious that Sheyi Shobayo is in breach of our agreement. Yet, he is still holding on to our hard earned funds with impunity.

Right now, he says he's out of the country. To him, there's nothing I can do.

I am still working on it. I have reached out to Zenith via calls, Twitter, Facebook, mail and their branches. The branch and calls were the ones that gave responses. I have also reached out to Nairabet too.
I've been going to the bank back to back except the days I have to submit assignments or attendance is a big thing, and had to travel back to my State last week because of this utility bill issue + voters ID. I have asked them for the remaining two (400K+ and money my parents sent for the new month I didn't receive). They said I should liaise with Nairabet and I should show the receipt for my parent's transaction. I called my mom to help me with the receipt, just a simple screenshot - I explained what it means and how to do it (power button + volume button). She said I want to spoil her phone and all that, that the phone off whenever she tries it…
Tuesday last week, nothing much from Zenith bank after explaining the whole issue. Wednesday I had to submit an assignment early and skip classes to enter the bank. The customer care executive didn't accept the utility bill I presented (my friend's own, that leaves off campus).
Thursday, mandatory class - class still didn't hold, but classes during the day I missed held (no test, just normal) I traveled back to my State to avoid night journey.
Friday, Zenith bank branch (my State) said they can't upload the document, the site is down. I gave them a voter ID, same problem. To not waste the time, let them help with the reversal of my mom's transaction I didn't receive. I called Zenith bank the following day, they said NIN is down I asked what about voter's ID, they said it could work… I should visit the branch. I told him I have visited different branches with the same results, he said Monday it would be fixed.
My mom was just saying plenty things, money weh this, money weh that; make I do dey go my school… I told her later in the day that the money is in my account - so she can free me. Though I didn't receive anything, I know either of us will

Tomorrow I will go again but likely late to the bank cuz there was something I was supposed to submit last week. The HOD didn't give a fixed deadline, I heard some students went to beg him in his office today, no way. If I finish with HOD matters, transport to the bank.

The bank app opened a few times, it worked in the morning at the bank. I think the app problem is likely my Tecno pop phone or network, the phone sometimes freezes or shows a black screen. It worked on WiFi and loads forever on data connection. I am trying to update it, (uninstall and reinstall).
Here are the Nairabet accounts I used, they only requested statement from my bank that would cover the time interval and showing the deposit etc but, I told them the method of deposit my client used + they requested for ID.

I bought a 2002 Toyota Camry as my first car in October and for the first 2-3 months the car performed pretty well.

However lately, from January it has been one problem to the other.

From overheating to coil problem to spark plug problem and others.

The recent issue with the car is that the car doesn’t hold slow anymore.

That is the car goes off at slow speeds. I’ve changed coil, changed spark plug, ringed engine twice all to no avail.

This has caused a huge hole in my pocket as I’ve even had to borrow to pay for some of these repairs.

Just yesterday in a bid to resolve this issue, I took the car to another mechanic and he told me my engine block had washed and that even if he grinded the valve the holding slow issue won’t stop. I inquired about the cost of replacing the block and purchase alone was close to a 100 thousand. I’m just tired and frustrated, I need advise, do I sell the car or do I repair this?
