Reference:She'll be forgotten in a month.. Isn't this Nigeria? Let the next trending stuff happen. |
NIPOST is just slowly slipping away like the NITEL and NEPA of old. Totally inefficient and clueless in it's duties and responsibilities. They tamper with packages and steal valuables with little or no repercussions to their staff or corporate image. No responsibilie organization will send any sensitive or valuable documents with NIPOST. Their service delivery is extremely poor and customer service?? Virtually non-existent.. Multiple partnership with other private delivery companies over the years failed due to their meddlesome and often frustrating work ethics. NIPOST should be dissolved into regional bodies and let them be privatized. It has outlived it's usefulness. |
Parachoco:Very dumb statement.. |
honestivo:To prevent y'all from stockpiling cheaper tokens.. glad I bought over 20k worth last week. That would keep me going for a few months |
Ikeja Electric has already increased their tariff since last week. |
As long as there's no woman in that scenario.. escape is still possible. |
Does anyone know the processes involved I the conversion? People would be interested in this process if the cost is lower than running on petrol.. Can any car be converted? |
This is just clueless thinking.. We have abundance of CNG in Nigeria. Let the FG start a hybrid system scheme. Anyone interested in converting their cars to use PMS and CNG can sign up .. Owner pays 75% FG pays the rest. It's doable and will reduce the demand on PMS and possibly the price as well. This should have been done at least a year ago. |
Eriokanmi:Hahahaha. Nothing like marine spirit o The boat sank due to collision with iceberg that tore open it's hull. Countless dozen ships have sailed the exact same route as Titanic with no mishaps.. The captain got the info but didn't want to slow down.. probably to meet up with the arrival time in New York.. remember it was it's maiden voyage.. so expectations were high.. In those days. Regulations weren't so strict like that. |
Oyinbo people with their wahala.. A shipwreck that has been photographed, videoed and explored countless times.. What's the fascination again about it? It's not like you'll be swimming inside the wreckage.. what fun exactly do you wish to gain from that? And to fork out $250k dollars? It's well |
The bear will come out tops.. The anaconda is the first to go.. lots of weakness.. small head. Long body to bite into Next to go is the gorilla.. upper body strength.. very minimal endurance. It will tire easily.. the lion or bear can rip into it's vital organs with ease(having similar physiology like human) Lion and near don't often meet in the wild so their fight will be bloody.. the bear will win the lion tho not easily. |
Streetdoctor:No wonder y'all brutes, primitive, crude, uncivilized degenerates. Stagnant backward culture in today's progressive world. Little by little. The minorities in Southern Nigeria will have more political and cultural clout than y'all and relegate you to the bottom of the pecking order. Individually, igbos are smart but once they form a pack, all decorum, modesty is thrown to the wind . Acting like barbarians with no iota of common sense.. murderers and drug dealers, commiting genocide right inside their region but it's Yoruba that's their problem. |
When did NTA start twitting breaking news? That's to show u the mentality.. Is it until the whip is applied before y'all know what to do? |
DMerciful:You're benefitting cos you're still being allowed to trade feely.. Wait till the music stops . Then you'll know where the wind blows. be wise and relocate your business to the East.. The tsunami coming won't contain you igbos in SW |
Rexymania:Resign to do what exactly? You need to know something.. These people can't function in a society without govt largesse. Their lives, souls are tied to Govt.. Once cut, they will wither away and die. |
So? |
I was about 15 years old at the time. Couldn't vote but I followed my dad and mom to the polling booth.. Everything was nice and smooth.. no issues Until the annulment came over the radio waves.. There was a lot of violence..shops being burnt A lot of shooting and killing.i personally saw the army shoot a young man on the street of Apapa Road in Ebute Metta for breaking curfew . Dead bodies littered the streets for days on end. Most of the igbos in my neighborhood disappeared overnight.. they fled Eastwards to avoid what they felt was the start of a civil war Everywhere was pensive.. Fear was all over My parents even mulled crossing the border at Seme heading to Ghana. We have close relatives there at the time . It wasn't a nice time tho. |
This is nothing new. Many new generators have that adaptability from the onset with their carburators.. |
KADASE:Sometimes I just wonder about the bolded. People can recover and surpass in isolation? Who gave them fertile ground to succeed? Who gave them opportunities for growth? Left to the North, after the civil war the igbos would still be grovelling in mud huts with thatched roofs. |
Not holding brief for anyone. The igbos exiting Lagos to site their businesses in the East would be foolhady for several reasons. 1. They'll still need to import thru Western ports and transport back East. That's revenue for Lagos and FG. cost of items will increase.. 2. The target market is Lagos and SW. why site your business far away? Just to spite your noses? 3. Over competition.. if y'all move back to Alaigbo.. y'all be selling the same thing in an enclosed region not known for in house purchases. Igbos need others to buy from them. To be honest . I'll be glad if they leave. Others will come and take opportunity of their abscence and set up more quality supply chain distribution of goods and services. At least the population will significantly reduce with the attendant crime reduction. |
In Ebute Metta, a rustic suburb in Lagos State, we've been experiencing at least 12-14 hours a day of power supply since May. It's a pleasant turn of events, though I'm made to believe this is normal during rainy seasons. Hope it can be sustained all through the year. |
eldoradoxx:Just dey play.. Regionalism is staring you right in the face. |
enemybulldozer:At most. You'll have regional system of governance.. Nigeria won't break up per se. Every region will enact laws to protect indigenes first.. others later.. So ibos wanting to reside in Lagos will have to follow the laws. If not they can leave.. no one is being chased away but if your pride won't allow u kowtow to the Yorubas in their land.. Then you'll be chased away. |
If the laws come into effect. Two things will happen The serious minded non indigenous people will comply and know their place. All this rubbish, grandstanding lack of respect for their hosts will disappear in a flash. No one would like to lose their property and business.. so they will comply and fall in line. The foolish ones aka Ipob will naturally drift away from Lagos and the SW as the laws won't be conductive for their shenanigans. All in all. There will be sanity in the land Any idiot that wants to rub shoulders with the indigenes.. wings will be clipped, knees smashed |
youngsahito:Exactly.. Lagos State can pay its staff 100k minimum wage easily with mo trouble.. That the state increased it'd basic salary by 25% early this year won't cut it. 100k minimum for Lv1 would suffice for now.. |
drlateef:Why is Nigeria broke? Isn't it the useless corrupt leaders we've had since 2015? Nigeria has no business with poverty yet we see scandalous acts like Govt officials, Scams and acts of thievery unimaginable two decades before. Humongous paychecks. Thousands of aides Hundreds of lawmakers across the Federation. All eating from the same pot. One fool up there said Let subsidy be removed and palliatives will come. The same way it came during COVID-19? Fuel subsidy is the ONLY thing Nigerians across board enjoy from Govt.. nothing more. And you still want to remove that cos y'all can't think of a better way to generate revenue? Is it the common man that is stealing the subsidy? Or your cronies in NNPC? Let the subsidy remain until palliatives are put in place... Then ypu can remove it. |
AzizG550:How do you transport over a billion people across a giant subcontinent? With rails The British built railroads all across India and Pakistan during the Colonization Era. This rapidly helped to move soldiers easily across .. In later years, the railroads were used to move civilians, goods all across India. The good thing about it was the Indian govt never neglected the rails.. they developed on it and made it more efficient and economical.. Nigeria on the other hand, completely ignored it. Refused to upgrade the rails back then. It would have gone a long way in reducing wear and tear on our roads. |
dyera:If earthquakes occur in Nigeria.. We won't be building like we do . In Japan. They use light weight building materials like wood to build their houses due to their frequent earthquakes or quake resistant highrises.. Easy to build and repair. Same in tornado areas in the US. Houses made of wood and foam.. Nigeria is all about cement and block. Very heavy and cost ineffective.. |

proeast:Unfortunately.. that's the country we find ourselves in . This democracy we're practicing isn't for us . I wish we were in China practicing Chinese style of Government.. I tell u. Discipline will be installed by force by fire |
