PoliticsRe: When Last Did You Go To Nipost To Send A Package by HenryWilliams(m): 6:42pm On Jul 01, 2023
NIPOST is just slowly slipping away like the NITEL and NEPA of old.
Totally inefficient and clueless in it's duties and responsibilities.
They tamper with packages and steal valuables with little or no repercussions to their staff or corporate image.
No responsibilie organization will send any sensitive or valuable documents with NIPOST.
Their service delivery is extremely poor and customer service?? Virtually non-existent..
Multiple partnership with other private delivery companies over the years failed due to their meddlesome and often frustrating work ethics.
NIPOST should be dissolved into regional bodies and let them be privatized. It has outlived it's usefulness.

Does anyone know the processes involved I the conversion?
People would be interested in this process if the cost is lower than running on petrol..
Can any car be converted?
PoliticsRe: Ex-Depot Petrol Price Rises To ₦‎490 Per Litre by HenryWilliams(m): 9:20am On Jun 21, 2023
This is just clueless thinking..
We have abundance of CNG in Nigeria.
Let the FG start a hybrid system scheme.
Anyone interested in converting their cars to use PMS and CNG can sign up ..
Owner pays 75%
FG pays the rest.
It's doable and will reduce the demand on PMS and possibly the price as well.
This should have been done at least a year ago.

Did they think the Titanic ship just hit the iceberg and capsized at that spot in 1912, just like that?. Its high time these adventure-loving people knew that there's something called marine spirit.
Hahahaha. Nothing like marine spirit o
The boat sank due to collision with iceberg that tore open it's hull.
Countless dozen ships have sailed the exact same route as Titanic with no mishaps..
The captain got the info but didn't want to slow down.. probably to meet up with the arrival time in New York.. remember it was it's maiden voyage.. so expectations were high..
In those days. Regulations weren't so strict like that.

It's well
Forum GamesRe: Logically Who Would Come Out Alive From These Four? by HenryWilliams(m): 6:52am On Jun 21, 2023
The bear will come out tops..
The anaconda is the first to go.. lots of weakness.. small head. Long body to bite into
Next to go is the gorilla.. upper body strength.. very minimal endurance. It will tire easily.. the lion or bear can rip into it's vital organs with ease(having similar physiology like human)
Lion and near don't often meet in the wild so their fight will be bloody.. the bear will win the lion tho not easily.
PoliticsRe: As A Southern Ethnic Minority, This Is My Problem With Igbo And Yoruba by HenryWilliams(m): 2:20pm On Jun 18, 2023
Streetdoctor:
As a street doctor and one that has tou4ed round, i will start with d following
1. Culture: The two cultures are opposite each other. An Igbo man believes that if u are an elder, u shoupd behave like one or else boys will change it for u. While in yoruba, an elder will misyan/misbehave u still boys according him same respect in regards to d course of what led to d misbehave from d elder.
Igbo man believe so much in himself while yoruba does not.
Yorubas are diplomatic in nature (due to their coward nature), while igbos does not believe in diplomacy, they say it d way it is.
Igbos explore alot while yorubas does not.
yoruba will owe a yoruba, d debtor will still expect d creditor to accord him respect while in igbo land, if u owe me and u no pay me, na fight go settle am.
No wonder y'all brutes, primitive, crude, uncivilized degenerates.
Stagnant backward culture in today's progressive world.
Little by little. The minorities in Southern Nigeria will have more political and cultural clout than y'all and relegate you to the bottom of the pecking order.
Individually, igbos are smart but once they form a pack, all decorum, modesty is thrown to the wind . Acting like barbarians with no iota of common sense.. murderers and drug dealers, commiting genocide right inside their region but it's Yoruba that's their problem.

PoliticsRe: Share Your June 12, 1993 Experience by HenryWilliams(m): 9:04am On Jun 12, 2023
I was about 15 years old at the time.
Couldn't vote but I followed my dad and mom to the polling booth..
Everything was nice and smooth.. no issues
Until the annulment came over the radio waves..
There was a lot of violence..shops being burnt
A lot of shooting and killing.i personally saw the army shoot a young man on the street of Apapa Road in Ebute Metta for breaking curfew .
Dead bodies littered the streets for days on end.
Most of the igbos in my neighborhood disappeared overnight.. they fled Eastwards to avoid what they felt was the start of a civil war
Everywhere was pensive..
Fear was all over
My parents even mulled crossing the border at Seme heading to Ghana. We have close relatives there at the time .
It wasn't a nice time tho.

PoliticsRe: Dear Yorubas I Want To Know Why You Do This Always? by HenryWilliams(m): 6:08pm On Jun 10, 2023
KADASE:
It is unfortunate that that hatred has always been there since time immemorial towards the Igbos especially from the Yorubas since the end of the civil war.

I believe it has to do with the way the Igbos recovered fast enough to provide competition and even surpass them in so many sectors of the economy that they have found unfathomable. Hence the hate. Yet they will turn round to say the Igbos are hateful whereas the Igbos are working hard day and night recording successes on a daily.

I will advise them to learn from the Igbos their dogged spirit in entreneuship and business and be busy for the good of everybody.
Sometimes I just wonder about the bolded.
People can recover and surpass in isolation?
Who gave them fertile ground to succeed?
Who gave them opportunities for growth?
Left to the North, after the civil war the igbos would still be grovelling in mud huts with thatched roofs.
PoliticsRe: Now That Lagos Has Become Anti-trade, Can Otti Revive Obuaku by HenryWilliams(m): 11:33am On Jun 10, 2023
Not holding brief for anyone.
The igbos exiting Lagos to site their businesses in the East would be foolhady for several reasons.
1. They'll still need to import thru Western ports and transport back East. That's revenue for Lagos and FG. cost of items will increase..
2. The target market is Lagos and SW. why site your business far away? Just to spite your noses?
3. Over competition.. if y'all move back to Alaigbo.. y'all be selling the same thing in an enclosed region not known for in house purchases. Igbos need others to buy from them.
To be honest . I'll be glad if they leave.
Others will come and take opportunity of their abscence and set up more quality supply chain distribution of goods and services.
At least the population will significantly reduce with the attendant crime reduction.
PoliticsRe: What Is The Situation Of Electricity In Your Area? by HenryWilliams(m): 8:02am On Jun 10, 2023
In Ebute Metta, a rustic suburb in Lagos State, we've been experiencing at least 12-14 hours
a day of power supply since May.
It's a pleasant turn of events, though I'm made to believe this is normal during rainy seasons.
Hope it can be sustained all through the year.
PoliticsRe: No Man’s Land: Rhodes-vivour Condemns Proposed Law To Protect Lagos Indigenes by HenryWilliams(m): 7:36am On Jun 09, 2023
eldoradoxx:
Obasa and Indeed those proposing a special law for a class of people in Lagos or in any state for that matter are just TOO IGNORANT of the laws of this country. The constitution has already invalidated any law or policy that discriminates against any person on the basis of ethnicity, religion, gender or whatever.
So let Lagos Assembly make that law and let's rush to Court and have it struck down for violating the provisions of the constitution. You cannot make any law that seeks to favour any particular segment of same state or favour one group over another on the basis of religion, gender, tribe or whatever. Every law must be applicable to everyone who lives in your state equally, because in a constitutional democracy, we are all equal before the law. There is no indigeneship in our constitution and the idea of indegenship is illegal, the constitution recognizes just one thing; citizenship of Nigeria. Once you are a citizen of Nigeria, you are indigene of any state where you live. Those who are shouting One Nigeria up and down should be educated on the implication of being One Nigeria. It means the man who was born and raised in Sokoto, Borno, Enugu or Abakaliki is an indigene of Lagos as long as he lives in Lagos. He has equal rights with the Oba of Lagos and will be protected by the constitution against any form of discrimination on the basis of his religion or tribe.
Just dey play..
Regionalism is staring you right in the face.
PoliticsRe: Will Lagos State Government Chase People Away From Their Land? by HenryWilliams(m): 10:28am On Jun 08, 2023
enemybulldozer:
And many states in naija will make similar laws and by so doing breakup will take place and that has been my prayer.
At most. You'll have regional system of governance..
Nigeria won't break up per se.
Every region will enact laws to protect indigenes first.. others later..
So ibos wanting to reside in Lagos will have to follow the laws. If not they can leave.. no one is being chased away but if your pride won't allow u kowtow to the Yorubas in their land..
Then you'll be chased away.
PoliticsRe: Will Lagos State Government Chase People Away From Their Land? by HenryWilliams(m): 7:16am On Jun 08, 2023
If the laws come into effect.
Two things will happen
The serious minded non indigenous people will comply and know their place. All this rubbish, grandstanding lack of respect for their hosts will disappear in a flash. No one would like to lose their property and business.. so they will comply and fall in line.
The foolish ones aka Ipob will naturally drift away from Lagos and the SW as the laws won't be conductive for their shenanigans.
All in all. There will be sanity in the land
Any idiot that wants to rub shoulders with the indigenes.. wings will be clipped, knees smashed

What is Lagos State waiting for?
Exactly.. Lagos State can pay its staff 100k minimum wage easily with mo trouble..
That the state increased it'd basic salary by 25% early this year won't cut it.
100k minimum for Lv1 would suffice for now..

Please shut up your dullard brain. Angola has just stopped subsidy after Nigeria. Only countries with excess cash can subsidise consumption. Nigeria is broke and cannot afford it. We must create wealth first before sharing it.
Why is Nigeria broke?
Isn't it the useless corrupt leaders we've had since 2015?
Nigeria has no business with poverty yet we see scandalous acts like Govt officials,
Scams and acts of thievery unimaginable two decades before.
Humongous paychecks.
Thousands of aides
Hundreds of lawmakers across the Federation.
All eating from the same pot.
One fool up there said
Let subsidy be removed and palliatives will come.
The same way it came during COVID-19?
Fuel subsidy is the ONLY thing Nigerians across board enjoy from Govt.. nothing more. And you still want to remove that cos y'all can't think of a better way to generate revenue?
Is it the common man that is stealing the subsidy?
Or your cronies in NNPC?
Let the subsidy remain until palliatives are put in place... Then ypu can remove it.
TravelRe: Two Passenger Trains Derail In Eastern India. 280 Dead, 900 Injured by HenryWilliams(m): 3:30pm On Jun 03, 2023
AzizG550:
Indian trains are usually packed like sardines. Indian people hang on train the way ants hang over sugar.
How do you transport over a billion people across a giant subcontinent?
With rails
The British built railroads all across India and Pakistan during the Colonization Era. This rapidly helped to move soldiers easily across ..
In later years, the railroads were used to move civilians, goods all across India.
The good thing about it was the Indian govt never neglected the rails.. they developed on it and made it more efficient and economical..
Nigeria on the other hand, completely ignored it. Refused to upgrade the rails back then.
It would have gone a long way in reducing wear and tear on our roads.

Earthquake never happen for Lagos state buildings dey collapse every week for the state. If earthquake really happen in Lagos state, 90% of the buildings in the state will collapse.

Meanwhile American people dey always know when their building is about to collapse, unlike in Lagos state Nigeria.
If earthquakes occur in Nigeria..
We won't be building like we do .
In Japan. They use light weight building materials like wood to build their houses due to their frequent earthquakes or quake resistant highrises..
Easy to build and repair.
Same in tornado areas in the US.
Houses made of wood and foam..

Nigeria is all about cement and block.
Very heavy and cost ineffective..

PoliticsRe: This Shame Is Too Much: Is There A Way To Abandon Nigeria & Change Nationality? by HenryWilliams(m): 5:56pm On Jun 01, 2023
proeast:
God knows I'm had enough disgrace and shame from this worthless brand called Nigeria. Pls can someone provide steps on how to denounce this useless country and take up another country's nationality?

I have been struggling to come to terms with a globally infamous rogue as president. Only to hear that a minister of aviation called Hadi Sariki, went to Ethiopia, begged them to release one of their aircrafts from their large fleet. He then repainted the aircraft, brought it to Nigeria and they called for national celebration that Nigeria airways has commenced operation. Days after, they quitely returned the aircraft to the owners i.e Ethiopian government via Ethiopian airlines. Paid God knows how much to them for a job well done. Then pocketed maybe millions of dollars!!!

If you're not ashamed of Nigeria or being associated with this rogue country then you're not a normal human being. You lack basic decency and decorum!

Since I heard this news, I have been feeling so bad. God knows we don't deserve this disgrace these criminals are bringing upon us everyday.

If I see a way, I will denounce this country and take up another nationality, even if it's Ghana.
Unfortunately.. that's the country we find ourselves in .
This democracy we're practicing isn't for us .
I wish we were in China practicing Chinese style of Government..
I tell u. Discipline will be installed by force by fire
