Say what you know. Honda engines are just as reliable as Toyota especially the V6. Go check out most of the Pilots, Ridgeline and MDX on the road many are exceeding over 200k miles and still running fine. Mine is well over 249k miles and still steams in the morning.

EVAP is reacting to failure of 02 sensors . Fix it. The code will clear

Good Afternoon House. I have Honda Accord 2004. Recently I noticed some vibrations from the front wheel when I’m accelerating and this vibrations will start from 40km/h up till 80km/h and vehicle starts running smoothly from that point until I’m starting over again.

I visited a mechanic to help me check the from wheel shaft and all. He complained about the skeleton/bearing in the shaft cup for the right shaft (the long one) and said the other shaft bearing I.e the driver side is manageable but this vibration still persist after changing the passenger side shaft bearing bearings. The vibration is more prevalent on the driver side recently. All engine mounts are intact.

What could be the problem? I’m considering changing the brake disc for the driver side cos I kinda notice friction and also try and replace the bearing for the driver side too. I need expert advise from the house before making my decision.

Any known common fault of accuracy cars.

1. Fuel consumption.. MPG is shitty.
2. Vtm4.. you may need to change the fluid and sensor (expensive)
3. Navigation is shitty. Only works in US.
4. Rust . Depending on Country . Don't buy Canadian
5. Transmission . 2001-06. Worse in 04

The fan is working intermittently. Check it properly

May not be true, he just has a leak that he needs to find.

Changing the radiator is just throwing parts and may not resolve it.

A leak that dries out in two weeks with no obvious signs is a damaged radiator.
The bottom seals are leaking and only shows face during operation.. when radiator is pressurized.
He will drive with no issues until coolant level is way down.. then overheating slowly creeps in

What if it's the thermostat that needs changing

A damaged thermostat can't cause coolant loss of that scale.. the radiator is damaged

That light comes up usually every 5k miles or so depending on the vehicle manufacturer.. it's from the ECU and can't be reprogrammed.
You can however time your servicing to coincide with the 5k miles.. if you're servicing every 3k miles or so. It will overlap at around 1.95k miles or so.

So i got an electrician to connect the fan to the relay and everything seems normal. I was telling them that I suspect they have not fixed the water pump properly but they said I should allow them to use the relay and see the outcome. They used the relay and car is cool temperature guage does not get upto half. However I do not want it like this. I took the thermostat home and put it in pot to heat it. However it behaved as I expected but I am not sure if it was opening at 82 degrees celcius because I no get thermometer. My guess is that this thermostat is opening at a higher temp hence my engine is running hot. I think if I get a new thermostat, I can get electrician to return things to factory and car will be ok.

Reason is because after removing the thermo, everything is working. Which means water pump is ok, radiators are fine, same is fans, gasket and there are no air packets.

Do u share same views?

After removing all the other variables.. what you're left with is the thermostat.. it's not opening as it should. Probably opening at 90c or more.. at that temp, your car will slowly overheat cos it's not fully open. Get the thermostat that opens at 82c or 86c.
You'll be fine after that and please revert that wiring back to factory settings.

I have a few questions to ask so permit me if my write-up is a bit lengthy.
Recently bought an Acura MDX 05. car is clean. Not dints or anything.
First thing is noticed is rough idling with the VTM-4 light on. Check engine light was on so I scanned and got series of misfire codes ranging from Cyl 1-6 and random misfire codes.
The engine was checked and we discovered two nozzles totally blocked. Those were replaced and the remaining 4 serviced. The MAF, PCV, EGR and throttle body were cleaned. Car ran fine for a while until another set of codes came up. This time around all the Oxygen sensors 2up and 2down have heater circuit issues
Now my question is. Can 4 O2 sensors die simultaneously?
I'm getting terrible gas mileage.. around 5.3km/l or so..
I'm not convinced all 4 went bad at once..
I've posted the scan results.. if anyone can help with some insight

PS: in the morning or after a long parking. I can detect a faint smell of petrol around the car when I start it . it just hovers there for a while..
