Politics › Re: Sanwo-Olu Pays ₦70 Million Compensation To Families Of Slain Police Officers by HenryWilliams(m): 7:07pm On Nov 06, 2022 |
Kobicove: This is a commendable gesture from the Lagos State Government but there is a need to do more for the families of policemen who die on active duty! What is the NPF doing about it? Don't tell me they did anything cos I know that's a blatant lie. Lagos State always pay compensation when police officers die while in active service, the NPF does nothing.. they'll even evict the families from the shitholes they call barracks a month after death. Lagos will equip Police Buy them vehicles Contribute fund for them. Even banks and companies buy patrol vehicles for them.. aren't they ashamed? Check the brand new vehicles in 3 months.. you'll think they drove it thru Syria... Where is the NPF budget going? I swear with proper restructuring.. all this bullshit will come to an end. NPF is a federal institution, why the Lagos State shouldering their responsibility? |

Yet they cry unemployment, things that we as a people should have rather try to produce, we prefare to import. We subject the little we produce, to unhealthy price competition by dumppers. Give some artisans jobs they won't do it, they will eat your money and keep telling you stories. The few who dare to produce will overprice their products and complain of poor sales. Imagine a guy who went into animal husbandry, saying one ram is #300,000 because the rams are specially breed for Salah, I told him he will loose sales to cow sellers, the same mistake he made last year and blame Buhari, he's about to make it this year, these are rams that he fed with farm waste o, me I don already put our people matter for one side, I no get time for nonsense. When our people are tired, they will use their heads. I don't understand.. why should govt force the Chinese to do that? Were they the ones that ran it aground? China will only invest in what can bring it money and leverage.. sadly fabrics isn't one |

Where did you get your fallacy from My friend.. keep shut. The late Abibatu Mogaji was NOT the mother of Tinubu. He was adopted by the crooked lady to run drugs to the US. he had NO links to Lagos prior to that adoption. No pedigree, no lineage. Even the esteemed Tinubu Family came out to deny him belonging to their family tree.. so tell me.. where does he belong? His biological parents were from Osun. They died and he couldn't go to acknowledge their burial so as to keep up the facade of being a Tinubu. It's a shame that a man couldn't bury his own parents and be there physically to pay last rites just because of politics.. jeez |

This I have seen . That bolded part will never happen.. or maybe happen to Northern Nigeria. The moment Aso Rock falls, each region will instantly lock up. That's the reality on ground. Tinubu had nothing to do with Lagos State politically.. He's a bastard from Osun state that managed to wriggle his way into the household of Iyaloja of Lagos( another criminal). One criminal mother adopting a criminal son. So get that clear . He can't trace his lineage in Lagos prior to that adoption date . Where is his father's compound in Lagos? Where is his mother's compound in Lagos? No history, no pedigree.. nothing.. A bastard won't rule Nigeria. |

FreeStuffsNG: Before politics confuses the merits of the policy
Let everyone, especially the indomie generation who have not witnessed this kind of policy know that this is not a new policy and definitely not unexpected by those who had witnessed such in the past.
In my opinion, the real reason is to catch those with illicit funds outside the financial system although the report that over 80% of physical cash in circulation is outside the bank vaults necessitating need to mop it up to control oversupply and inflation.
I know politicians are the easy pick to blame because it is campaign season that they share stolen money but so far, it has proven that corrupt civil/ public servant is the worst culprit. In fact, the level of corruption linked to corrupt civil servant in FG, State and LGA civil service is mindboggling.
The good news is that so much is going on in Nigeria and so fast paced that many folks will be shut out and cry for their ignorance, folly , negatiivity and pessimism on national affairs. Banks will also make some money.
I just learnt one lesson recently; a document that one could easily get before now requires NIN and clearance from a database linked to another national database.
From drug money to terrorism financing funds to oil bunkering/theft money to ransom money to forex manipulators to corrupt politicians/civil servants to undocumented repatriated funds/undisclosed financial assets to internet fraudsters etc. this policy will force them to bring out the money into the system to be trailed by tracking.
This is the last leg to lure holders of illicit funds into the mainstream finance system to get caught or they lose all their illicit wealth. The timing is also good. I support Mr Emefiele on this. Those who have nothing to fear should calm down. God bless Nigeria for ever! check my signature for free stuffs! You talk as if you were born yesterday.. this is Nigeria |

Family › Re: 5-year-old Boy Reveals His Past Life As A Black Woman Who Died 30 years Ago by HenryWilliams(m): 5:57am On Oct 21, 2022 |
Reincarnation is very real. It doesn't happen often but it's very real. When a person "dies" The spirit and soul are torn from the physical body..that one rots away. The soul goes straight to God or judgement.. the spirit however stays back, either floating near the scene of death or fizzles out into nothingness. It does however keep some fragments of previous life . Now immediately after conception.. maybe that same spirit is introduced into the foetus, a soul much later. There's a good chance that memories of the past life will start to come up once awhile, usually when the child starts getting conscious (when the soul awakens). The child like the one above starts remembering events that could not possibly be his/hers. It s just the confluence of both sets of memories coming together. For most, it comes and passes by. For others, it can be very trying and can even run some mad. If it were to be in 3rd world apeshit countries like Nigeria.. witchcraft and demon possession would have been blamed and the poor boy probably flogged or killed. |

Can someone explain to me cos I don't understand.. Lafarge is a french company now owned by A swiss conglomerate.. they have factories in Syria that was still producing during the war in 2013-14. Obviously they had to pay terrorists (freedom fighters) to safeguard their facilities and employees and also keep the factory running.. all this I can understand. What I don't understand is what is the US concern in all this, that a US court had to try them and find them guilty? If they broke any law, shouldn't it be the Swiss, French or even the Syrians themselves that ought to do so..why the Americans? |

TechtraGadgets: Dangote and his ilks in Nigeria are some of the most useless billionaires in the world. Dangote got a deal that can only be replicated in countries like Russia but won't give anything back to his (their) host communities.
If you'd like to defend these guys (that are as bad as Nigerian politicians), you should know that most of their wealth came from monopolistic deals with corrupt FG. The LEAST they could do is give back and invest in the host communities, whose resources they've syphoned. That's how thriving ecosystems from California (USA) to Mumbai (India) are built.
In Nigeria, most people and businesses are shameless. What's the essence in paying taxes to State and Federal Govt if you still want companies to take on govt responsibilities? This is the rubbish that encourages corruption. So because I site my factory in a town or village, all the wahala of that village must be solved by me while the govt looks the other way? This is the reason why most companies avoid doing any form of CSR. |

The day government decides that the power sector should set its price, and the day that people who do not pay for power are totally cut off the grid is the day we would see improvements.
Anything other than that= no or poor power supply. Even if the discos set their price, they can't do more than what is obtainable now. They are endemically corrupt with little or no technical expertise on the job. They aren't injecting funds into their network.
