RomanceRe: Do You Really Love Someone If You Cheat On Them? by Hesperus(m): 11:33am On Dec 09, 2008
Dis cheating thing depends on situations. OK, what happens in a long distance relationship n they havent seen each other for like 2 years? D guy may just be sleepin with other person(s) just to keep body n soul together (at least dats what they say), but his heart is still with the other girl. And of course, he does it codedly so she never finds out. You know what they say, what u dont know cant hurt you. (Not entirely true sha)
Christianity EtcRe: Should A Good Christian Drink Alcohol? by Hesperus(m): 6:47pm On Dec 04, 2008
Dis issue again and again. 1stly, alcohol is simply fermented starch/sugar. Any sugar containing drink if left to stand long enough will contain alcohol traces. So those who preach against alcohol shd as well abstain from sugary suff.
D keyword is moderation, in everything.
You take home roughly £1650 home a month after tax, so you cannot afford a mortgage in London because of the income multiple, but assuming you have a mortgage of say £160,000, which is the average price of a one bedroom flat (mind you its a flat not house) in outer London, can you afford to pay the £1000 a month mortgage payment out of your wages? Is the remaining £650 per month enough for you to live on?
For real? Ha, thank God I decided against london. Omo, we are enjoyin here o! Solid 3 bedroom house complete with front parking and back garden, and the mortgage is less than £1000 a month! Wetin de that London sef, wey people de die put?

I agree with Osisi, as long as you have a goal and stay focused.
I remember when my sis came here for her degree, she did odd jobs too cos she had to eat n pay bills, and u cant keep asking for money from home all the time.
Now she's done and works for a top Law firm here in UK, tho she's d only black person there. And the funniest thing was that d contact who helped her with the job, she met thru dat same odd job.
Such is life.
