CrimeMan Who Forged SGF Boss Mustapha’s Documents Arraigned In Court by HeWrites(op): 12:18pm On Jul 19, 2019
Police in Ekiti have arraigned a 74-year-old man, Adejare Agboola, for allegedly forging documents of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Federal Ministry of Interior and Ekiti State House of Assembly, Igbere TV reports.

Mr Agboola was arraigned before an Ado Ekiti Chief Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

Police prosecutor, Johnson Okunade, told the court that the alleged offence was committed on November 14, 2018, in Ado-Ekiti.

He alleged that the septuagenarian committed the offence alongside others at large after claiming to be members of the Disaster Rescue Support Agency, which they said was a registered organisation.

“The defendant and others at large forged a document claiming to have originated from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and presented it to Ekiti State Government to assist and generate fund for the state, knowing fully that the document was fake,” Mr Okunade said.

According to him, the offences contravened section 465 and punishable under section 467 of the Criminal Code Cap C77 Laws of Ekiti State 2012.

The prosecutor asked the court for an adjournment to enable him to study the case file and present his witnesses.

Agboola, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

His counsel, Timi Omotosho, urged the court to grant him bail, with a promise that he would not jump bail.

Chief Magistrate Adesoji Adegboye granted bail to the defendant in the sum of N200, 000 with two sureties in like sum.

The case was adjourned until August 30 for hearing.

“It is painful, terribly devastating and saddening. This is one dastardly act too many by the enemies of humanity, as well as the progress and the very existence of Nigeria,” the statement said.

“As the daughter of Afenifere leader, Papa (Chief) Reverend Reuben Fasoranti, our beloved principal at Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo, and, by extension, our father, Funke was more than a classmate to us; she was our veritable sister.

"I wanna share 10 things about this woman before we wed this weekend;

1. When I met her I had no place to stay. I was sleeping on a couch at a friend’s house. And she knew.
2. I found a place later on, and she helped paying my rent for months
3. She got me my first car ever.
4. My laptop got damaged and I needed it so much at the time so I could work on my things in order to earn something. She gave me hers.
5. She covered most costs for our dates for a year.
6. She invested in our first two businesses together. And opted for me to run them full time
7. I never met her mom until when I brought my family to meet hers
8. She celebrated and congratulated me for any penny I made at the time, even when it was as little as $10
9. She supported everything I was trying to do to make ends meet. Whether it earned us money or not.
10. Though I’m very stable and all that now, I know she doesn’t really care about those things. She cares about me solely. I know she’d give me anything in the world if she had to,coz she has proved it over and over again

Ladies and gentlemen, that’s the kinda woman I’m marrying"

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Monday admitted the final result declared by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the Feb.23 general election as an exhibit.

Dr Livy Uzoukwu, SAN, Counsel for the petitioners tendered the document before Justice Mohammed Garba-led five-man panel as part of his clients’ moves to prove allegations of election malpractice leveled against the conduct of the election.

Also admitted in evidence, was a document containing bio-data of president Muhammadu Buahri submitted to the electoral body.

The chairman of the tribunal also admitted a document containing the total number of registered voters and collected Permanent Voters Cards used in the election.

The receipt of payment dated March 24 and acknowledgment letter issued by the Director of Legal Services of the commission in respect of the above document were also admitted as evidence.

Igbere TV reports that a total of six national dailies were tendered by the petitioners and admitted as evidence by the tribunal.

The national dailies were listed to include: Daily Trust (Feb.8, 2019); Vanguard (Feb.19, 2019); Nigerian Tribune (Feb.20, 2019) THISDAY (Feb.24, 2019); and Sunday Tribune (Feb.24, 2019); as well as Vanguard dated March 26, 2019.

The receipt obtained from the National Library in respect of the certified newspapers was also admitted in evidence.

Meanwhile, another set of result sheets from Zamfara and Kano totaling 6,806 were admitted as additional evidence from the petitioners.

The petitioners on July 4 tendered a total of 31, 371 documents comprising election results sheets from wards, polling units and Local Government Areas from 10 states.

The states were Niger; Yobe; Katsina; Kebbi; Borno; Jigawa; Gombe; Bauchi; and Kaduna.

Similarly, Alhaji Buba Galadima, a petitoners’ witness in his evidence in chief, told the tribunal that he was the National Chairman of the Reformed All Progressive Congress (APC).

He also said his party had a Memorandum of Understanding with the PDP to elect a credible person as president of the country.

In his testimony, Galadima said he voted in his polling unit and thereafter went to monitor the election across the country from the PDP situation room in Abuja.

He said the election was marred by malpractices to favour the second respondent.

He also said Buhari was obliged to make public his West African Examination Council result, adding that he (Buhari) failed to annex the document on his nomination form.

Galadima explained that he was close associate of the second respondent (Buhari) and had supported his presidential election in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015 without reservations.

Galadima, however explained that he backed up from supporting him when issues around his qualification were raised.

“I wanted to support an educated candidate who can provide good governance for the country,’’, he said.

Mr Ijeoma Obi, a Registered Area Technician employed by INEC, also invited by the petitioners to testify, said he was employed by INEC to monitor the card readers in some polling units with a view to transmitting results to the commission’s server.

Obi explained that results from all the polling units he was deplored were sent to the server.

When crossed examined however, Obi failed to substantiate his claims by failing to give the code number used in sending the results to the acclaimed server.

Similarly, Adejuyitan Olanikan, another acclaimed Registered Area Technician employed by INEC said results were transmitted to the commission’s server but also failed to state how that was done.

Igbere TV reports that the petitioners have 400 witnesses to testify within 10 days.

Galadima used to be an ally of Mr Buhari.

The statesman made appearance at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Monday as the first witness of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who are aiming to prove their case against Buhari’s victory at the polls in February.

First daughter of the immediate past governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, Uloma Nwosu and two others, have filed a legal suit against Governor Emeka Ihedioha, Igbere TV reports.

Others joined in the suit as respondents before a Federal High Court include Imo State Commissioner of Police and four others over the invasion of her shopping complex, House of Freeda Limited.

Several persons were injured on June 27 when armed youths attached to the task force invaded the shopping mall.

PoliticsAPC Approves Indirect Primaries To Elect Kogi Governorship Candidate by HeWrites(op): 10:24am On Jul 06, 2019
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved indirect primaries to elect the party’s candidate for the forthcoming Kogi governorship election, Igbere TV reports.

The party said this in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday by its National publicity Secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu.

Issa-Onilu said that the approval was given after a meeting of the NWC on Friday where a formal request from the Kogi executive and stakeholders was considered and deliberated on.

He recalled that the APC constitution, which was reemphasised by a decision of National Executive Committee (NEC), provides for three mode of primary election to elect party candidates.

These, he said, were indirect and direct primaries as well as consensus depending on the peculiarities of the state and preferences of the stakeholders in respective elections.

According to him, the party’s timetable for the sales of forms and conduct of primaries will be announced in due course.

Issa-Onilu said that the party had also commended President Muhammadu Buhari over his reappointment of Mallam Abba Kyari and Mr Boss Mustapha as his Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Government of the Federation respectively.

According to him, these reappointments formally reiterate the determination of the president to step up on the Next Level agenda.

The ruling party noted with satisfaction the reaffirmation of the president’s confidence in the duo.

“Having worked with Mallam Kyari and Mr Mustapha in the last few years, we at the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party strongly believe that the president has made a well-informed decision.

“We are fully satisfied with their contributions so far and acknowledge that the duo fully understand the vision and direction of the APC-led administration.

“Our party is confident that the reappointed Chief of Staff and the SGF would justify the implicit confidence reposed in them by President Buhari and discharge their responsibilities for the overall good of Nigerians and our great country,” he said.

PoliticsOsun: APC, PDP Differ On Supreme Court Verdict by HeWrites(op): 8:22am On Jul 06, 2019
The All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have differed on the Supreme Court’s ruling which upheld Gboyega Oyetola’s victory as Osun State governor, Igbere TV reports.

The apex court ruled in Mr Oyetola’s favour on Friday and dismissed an appeal filed by the candidate of PDP in the September 2018 election, Ademola Adeleke.

The statement by PDP’s spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan, said the party was shocked at the court’s decision.

“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is shocked at the ruling of the Supreme Court on the contentious Osun State Governorship election.

“The fact that the Supreme Court had a split judgment also speaks volumes on its verdict in this matter.

“Our study of the judgment however shows that the Supreme Court did not negate the position of the PDP and millions of Nigerians that our candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke won the election, but based its verdict on reservations over issues of technicalities arising at the election petition tribunal,” the PDP said.

APC, on the other hand, in a statement by its spokesman, Lanre Issa-Onilu, welcomed the judgement.

The party said the apex court’s decision agreed with the choice of the Osun State electorate ‘who voted for continuity and our Party’s Change Agenda.’

“The All Progressives Congress (APC) welcomes the ruling of the Supreme Court affirming the election of Gboyega Oyetola as the Governor of Osun State.

“Our great party also congratulates Governor Oyetola and indeed the Party’s Osun State chapter for successfully defending our legitimate mandate. This ruling now cements the majority status of progressive governors in the country.

“The ruling will now allow the Governor Oyetola-led APC administration in Osun State focus on the core business of governance and implementing the many pro-people developmental plans for the state,” APC said.

PoliticsSaraki Reacts To EFCC Plan To Arraign Him For Allegedly Diverting 12bn by HeWrites(op): 6:38pm On Jul 01, 2019
Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said that he is innocent of fraud allegations against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Igbere TV reports.

Saraki, in a statement by his media adviser, Yusuph Olaniyonu, made available to Igbere TV on Monday said he was not engaged in any media war with the EFCC.

The commission had claimed that Saraki withdrew N12 billion in cash from the treasury of the Kwara State Government while he was governor of the state between 2003 and 2011.

In reaction, Saraki said he had been the one at the receiving end of media onslaught reportedly sponsored by EFCC.

“We need to reiterate that Dr. Saraki is not interested in obstructing any investigation by the EFCC or any security agency. While the EFCC claims that it is investigating the Office of the Senate President between 2015 and 2019, we make bold to say that it is just on a wild goose chase.

“That Office has nothing to do with contract awards and handling of the finances of the National Assembly. These are functions of the bureaucracy of the National Assembly, otherwise known as the National Assembly Management.

“On its persistent probe of the tenure of Dr. Saraki as Governor of Kwara State between 2003 and 2011, we maintain that all the issues the EFCC are presently raising were the same issues that are contained in four of the charges filed before the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) and taken before the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court,” the statement said.

It also said that in EFCC’s “desperation to nail Dr. Saraki, some of the charges that contained insinuations that Kwara State funds were paid into accounts owned by him and companies in which he has interests were filed. And twice, the charges went before the highest court in the land and he was discharged and acquitted.”

Christianity Etc"Church Is A Business. Most Pastors Are Fake" - Former Pastor Says by HeWrites(op): 4:44am On Jul 01, 2019
A former pastor has exposed a number of things he experienced during his years as a pastor and why he decided to distance himself and his family from religion, Igbere TV reports.

Al Akhigbe said he was "a pastor for more than 15 years". He said he had to leave because the church was "so blatant in the perpetration of evil" and it "was discomforting to him", Igbere TV reports.

He said that inspite of the priviledges and money that came with being a pastor, he left because "as important as money is, it has never really defined his life."

He said that while he was in church, he noticed a lot of evil going on which the church leaders tried to justify it. He went on to refer to the 'daddy GO' as "G-hoe".

He wrote: "As I grew in pastoral ranks, I discovered, to my amazement, that God was just a facade. Everything we did, we did for the G-hoe. Any other thing, we did for greed. And my bible condemns these things."

He went on to say that the church is just a business and most people who claim they were " called" are just peple who called themselves.

He wrote;

"I made up my mind a long time ago, to distance myself and my family from religion. Moreso, religious leaders like pastors. I don't care what anyone thinks. It's a choice I have made.

I don't hate anyone. But, I don't accord that ecclesiastical air to anyone. Because, most of them, if not all, are fake. I was myself a pastor for more than 15 years. So, I know. I have my ordination certificate, several awards for meritorious services, made impact both locally and internationally.

But, I saw the deceit, shenanigan, jujuism, scam, abuse, etc and was turned off. I became a lone voice in the wilderness crying against them. Probably, that was the reason they decided to eliminate me.

Agreed, no human or association or group is perfect. But, to be so blatant in the perpetration of evil was discomforting to me. I didn't care about the privileges. As important as money is, it has never really defined my life. Maybe I'm weird, I don't know.

I was in the world and knew how to do a lot of bad things. How could I be in the church as a Christian and we were perfecting the act of doing even worse evil?

When I believe something, I believe with my spirit, soul and body. My zeal for the things of God (as I thought they were), made me grow and became a church leader. As I grew in pastoral ranks, I discovered, to my amazement, that God was just a facade. Everything we did, we did for the G-hoe. Any other thing, we did for greed. And my bible condemns these things.

You needed to have known me when I was in church. This post is public and anyone that knew me can come and dispute it if I'm lying. I was always fighting what was against the people. Sometimes, during meetings, I'll argue with the head pastor, using scriptures. And I will be told that revelation was progressive and that God talked directly to the man with the vision. Meaning: the bible doesn't have the present information about the present direction of the church.

I'll have some of my colleagues sent to try and counsel me. My question was always, how can we say we're children of God and be engaging in acts that were worse than those of the unbelievers? They'll tell me that there are different levels of grace.

If I tell people I stopped pastoring, they'll be like, "how is that possible? Were you not called before?"

Called? People actually believe that nonsense ''call'' thing? Smh.

Get it into your head now, church is a business. Just as people thought and decided to choose fashion as their line of business, so also people decided to go into church as their line of business. It's the most lucrative business in Nigeria after politics.

They'll start it and tell you God called them. It's a LIE. They called themselves or their pastors that called themselves, selected them to help spread their tentacles.

That's why I laugh when people say, a church has a board. Which kind of board is a board that is selected by the pastor and CEO to act on his behalf and as a semblance of public organisation? Do you people reason at all?

Someone wakes up one day and tells you, God called him. You believed. Busola wakes up one day and decided to narrate the story of how a pastor raped her, you refused to believe. You're asking for the evidence. Which evidence did your pastor give you that made you believe God called him?
The big bible that he carries?
Anybody can buy a big bible.

Quite frankly, it's a feat to be able to pull out of a church congregation. It's even a greater feat to resign from a pastoral profession.

It's not easy isolating from people that have become family and friends. But, I had to do it for my conscience sake.

I couldn't stand the systematic impoverishment of people anymore.
I couldn't bear to see the perpetuation of falsehood.
I couldn't bear to see women abused.
I couldn't bear to see dirty politics...dirtier than that of APC and PDP put together.

I resigned and pulled out. And since then, about 5 years ago, I've never been more at peace with myself. I hope to take out time to write a book on this very soon. It will be a biography. Names of people, places and events will be mentioned.

I had wanted Pastor Anita to write it herself. Let the world hear her own side of the story. But, I guess they succeeded in gagging her with legal technicalities and she might not be able to.

Well, she is not me. There ain't no stopping me if I set my mind to do something. I don't mind stepping on and hurting toes."

IamD18:
We really do not care to know the possible factors that engineered Busola Dakolo's decision to accuse him of rape.

All we want is to know the truth before condemning any party. We need a reason and evidence to believe she was actually raped.

Rape accusation isn't something a reasonable person should just believe.
Most of the useless Twitter influencers already believed her even without evidence.. Just accusations and they already believe her.

Anybody who doubt the accusations get blocked... I can't count the numbers of fools that have blocked me for doubting her accusations
