Out of the 1000 best universities in the world only UI was among, so you say what again?

The guy you quoted was absolutely right " no Nigerian university is up to standard.
You better check again. Because on that list. Covenant comes before UI

HealthCovid19: 200 Medical Doctors Team Up To Give Free Online Consultations by HigherEd(op): 10:57am On May 18, 2020
Over 200 Medicbird Medical Professionals Unveil Free Video Consultations For Nigerian Patients Suffering Chronic Health Conditions

Alongside opening call channels that allows patients connect to highly experienced and licensed Mental Health Specialists, Medicbird, a growing startup company through the goodwill of over 200 medical doctors, a team of volunteer data analysts and call operators has opened up free telemedical services to all Nigerians for 90 days.

The center would focus on helping to manage Chronic health conditions for patients who have or may potentially lose access to healthcare facilities. This became imperative as many private hospitals erstwhile vital in servicing the healthcare needs of millions of Nigerians are either shutting operations or running at half strength due to the Covid19 pandemic.

As the virus continues to rage over many developing countries, patients are fearful of engaging with the healthcare system, even for needs unrelated to COVID-19. This means individuals with medical conditions like lupus, diabetes may in fact find it threatening to access care if they need them.

Strong engagement with patients has however been the core of chronic disease management in healthcare plans, with low acuity check-ins in hospitals or primary health centers and specialists being a vital component of care.

Telemedicine as an alternative: Telemedicine could serve as a substitute for patients unable to access their normal healthcare plans. It is therefore imperative to enable patients receive medical aid in managing illnesses with no additional risk to patient and medical practitioners.

The Medicbird system is designed to enable you reach the center through phone or Whatsapp messages and get paired to a Nigerian medical doctor through health managers. The entire consultation must happen within a maximum time frame of twelve hours in which a convenient time is booked for both patients and doctors.

Noteworthy, is that while our center's focus is aimed at aiding patients suffering from chronic conditions, we are also poised to help patients with common illnesses needing medical attention through our vast network of General practitioners spread across Nigeria. This service is also entirely free and is enabled by the good gesture of Medicbird's medical professionals.

The intervention center opens for 90 days beginning from March 10th, after which, it's either closed or extended for another 90 days based on recommendation from it's members.

Nice one
Christianity EtcMy Article Not Directed At Oyedepo - Poju Oyemade by HigherEd(op): 12:27pm On May 09, 2020
My attention has been drawn to articles going around some websites that an article I wrote on how one can remain effective during these times was written in response to Bishop Oyedepo's statement on the closure of Churches.

That assumption/inference is simply incorrect.
Facts can easily be verified by checking time-lines. My article was written before Bishop Oyedepo spoke.

I do understand that certain narratives drive traffic to websites and sowing seeds of division does attract attention.

I will like to make it clear and on record that my article was written 48hours before he spoke.

In the article I did emphasise that criticising other ministries and churches operations is not a sign of strength on one's part so the article contradicts the conclusions being inferred.

HIbreed:
Christianity has done what Islam will never ever do when it comes to terrorism and killings .it just got reformed over time because the Europeans that invented got tired of it and it's nonsense.

The transatlantic slave trade was founded on Christianity. That's just one example of the evils of the religion and how it hurt and killed millions of people here in Africa.

Christianity did more worse in the 18th century and down.

I guess you do not know much about Christianity and its spread throughout the World.

In a bid to spread and convert people Christians killed millions of people.

Religion itself unleashes terror where ever it goes.
You are entirely ignorant.

True, we are working overtime to recruit more experienced mental health specialists. We understand that in places like New York MHS professionals are deployed for the entire population. But we want to start from what's feasible and practical at this moment, given resources and personnel available.
