The Lord GOD is good!

We all have reason(s) to thank GOD daily for HIS many mercies and blessings. GOD is truly good (Matt 19:17, Mark 10:18, Luke 18:19), and kind and just among many, many, many wonderful things. Even and especially being alive is reason enough to be thankful to GOD, among other things we can and/or cannot count in each of our lives.  Especially considering the nature of this sin cursed world and blasphemous things spoken against GOD, The Lord JESUS CHRIST, everyday (i judge no one personally, GOD is The Judge- Psa 50:6, Psa 75:7, Ecc 3:17), yet we all enjoy the world (the rising sun, friends and family, travel, health, food, etc, etc).

GOD is Wonderful in that HE, though Sovereign ruler of all, subjects HIMSELF to HIS own Laws / holy word. "I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name." -Psalm 138:2 and GOD's Name(s) is /are HOLY. ( Deut 5:11, Isaiah 57:15).  GOD, The Lord JESUS CHRIST is also Wonderful (in many, many ways), but also in that HE, in HIS magnanimity and work to save many souls from HIS wrath for sin, “For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of GOD [is] eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our Lord.”- Rom 6:23, emptied HIMSELF of HIS great glory and took on HIMSELF the form of those whom HE came to save, a servant. (because man, similar to all of GOD's creation are HIS servants - Psa 119:91).

Humbly, yet very assertively exhorting / warning, re: the eye(s), and the sin(s) associated therewith.

"Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied." - Prov 27:20. 

"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!" - Mat 6:22-23

Thus,
"And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire." -Matt 18:9.  That is, literally remove it from that thing, not from your body of course, but from the sinful thing /activity, or cease, [the same applies to any of our other members that cause us to sin - "Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire." - Matt 18:8]

"But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." - Matt 5:28;  "Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids." - Prov 6:25

"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” - 1 Jn 2:16-17.

so please, we pray for GOD's strength and grace to "Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee." - Pro_4:25.  "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matt 26:41, remembering always John 15:5 & Phil 4:13
