This is the first time ALUU is being mentioned and it's not the usual cases of killing and burning people. Anyways RIP the great author. |
oglalasioux:Nothing really is impossible in the Nigeria of today. |
There is no commission as useless as this NYSC in Nigeria. NYSC is a waste of time and money. Waste of time for the graduates and waste of money for the government. More so, it is no longer serving the purpose of uniting Nigeria rather it is fueling ethnic and religious polarity. Today, any southern Christian posted to the north is scared and even more so for his/her family because of past experiences. In any election year, the locals must hunt for and kill Corpers working as adhoc staff for the elctoral umpire. After graduation you can't get a job until you present you useless NYSC discharge certificate that adds no value to you. NYSC SHOULD BE SCRAPPED. |
Nice one.

SGCSolutions:I think there is no better advice than this for all those who like bringing their marital challenges to nairaland. A platform mainly preoccupied by younger people. |
The one and most important quality of successful people is believing in self---Self-confidence. From what you have written here, it's obvious you are an intelligent person. But in presentation, there are required skills that determines its success or not. I may not know how composed, concise and eloquent you are, but shouldn't be bothered about the mockery by your colleagues. Only fools laugh to such uncultured utterances from your boss. You will agree with me that you are very much better than those laughing at you. Again, you can always learn. One problem I identified in your submission is that you believed you were excellent based on what your colleagues told you during your rehearsal---and so, you found it derogatory to be rated less than 100%. What you could have done or can still do, is to turn the table around by first opening your mind to learn. Secondly, go to that particular loquacious boss in a friendly disposition and tell him you will like him to teach you how to become better because you believe he can help you. Please don't show any atom of sarcasm. |
wacoj:Although I am not a fan of "very rich businessmen" being entrusted with the governance of a state because they are mostly dubious and incompetent. I am particularly against those who became wealthy through oil and gas because ALL of them are thieves. This was why Anambra rejected the "already rich" Ifeanyi Uba----you can now imagine what he could have done to the state treasury considering that he is indebted to the tune of 104bn. However, let me clarify your suspicion about his background. I think he started working with All States Bank with his OND as a Transaction Officer (Teller) while doing his HND, perhaps on part-time basis. Many of such people abound. |
doctokwus:What exactly is the "false information" he presented? |
joeprince23:Successful businessmen are never known to do well in Government because while they hide under the cloak of "He was already rich", they use government money to run their private business and set off their huge loans. Just imagine if Ifeanyi Ubah had won the Anambra governorship election. He could have used the state money to pay off that 104bn debt. |
Every wound heals with time, although some leave more reflective scars. |
WowSweetGuy:Biafra is only a matter of time because the ideology has gone so deep into every IGBO blood, even the unborn. You can hardly find a true IGBO person thinking Nigeria ahead of Biafra. And that thinking comes with the ill-feeling of marginalization and preclusion by and from the Nigerian state. |
bueze046:You are spot on. Actually, such environment are known to produce the smartest and most creative thinkers. |
Pelon:The message is very clear. It's either you don't mind sharing her with your "rival" or you back off. But be sure that she won't tell the other guy about you. Personally, I will advise you to call her and explain to her, that while you still appreciate and cherish her, you wouldn't want to share her with the other guy. More so, you wouldn't want to cause problems between them, so you can still be friends but not intimate. The reason is, it's possible that there is no other guy but she only wanted to find out if you really take her serious because it's only a playboy that wouldn't mind sharing a girl-----after all it is just for fun. Believe me, true love is jealous and no true lover wants to share. |
At the mention of Okpoko I knew what to expect. There is nothing they don't reproduce the fake version in Okpoko and police dare not go there for arrest. I was told that they produce guiness stout with bitterleaf and some other funny ingredients. |
And how is this fellow a Nigerian footballer? The advent of cheap website hosting and cheap internet access has automatically turned everybody to a cut-and-nail journalist. How can a person who hasn't played for Nigeria be called a Nigerian footballer? |
vague:Madam, I hope it's not what I am thinking oh? Anyways don t worry because some men don't mind. |
Jacko01:Very disgusting. I had to postpone eating my already served food. OP should have added GRAPHIC PICS. |
. |
I have always thought the Niger Bridge was constructed by Julius Berger. OP you need to verify no.2 because no higher institution could have awarded her a P.hD except you are sarcastically insulting Uniport Alumni. Again there was no mention of M.sc ? |
fairheven:I don't even understand why Okorocha described the late woman as a "heroine because it took over a hundred men to kill her". Was there anywhere in that report where it was recorded that the woman fought them until she was overpowered? Was he being mischievously sarcastic or just wanted to make mockery of the man? Again, if OkoroHausa wanted to help, why was he emphasising the readiness of the state government to give the woman a befitting burial instead of supporting the man who lamented to have lost everything?
|
sigiyaya:What do you mean by that? The president went to school just that he doesn't have certificate because WAEC didn't issue certificate to his set. |
olapluto:You can now see why he wanted to become the Governor of Anambra State by all means possible. |
MeanChris:Dangote's exclusion from that list doesn't suggest he isn't indebted. This list captured only serial defaulters hence the appendage "Chronic Debtors. From all I know, Dangote is more indebted than all of them joined together. |
Agimor:What other post promotes true Christianity more than this stark reality? I think you also need to identify the difference between a realist and an atheist before labelling Seun as one. I am still wondering what necessitated the unnecessary mention of Seun here because he didn't author this article neither was he the MOD that brought it to FP. We must stand up together in condemning the deceptive teachings of these pastors because it's truly causing more problems for our society. It has rendered more people miserable and frustrated in slavery to false teaching that kept them perpetually waiting for miracles. I was in a church program in Lagos recently organized by Liberation Ministries in Ojodu and the G.O (Chris Okafor) declared that members will start receiving miracle credit alerts in their phones as a proof that he is a real man of God. Seconds later, people started coming out to testify receiving miracle credit alerts. What else can be more deceitful and discouraging of hardwork than that? |
enigmagu1:When you change you change your thinking, I change mine, the next person does same and we all prefer listening to this kinds of truth rather than the many deceptive teaching in some quarters. |
joseph1832:This is not only correct, concise, true but also biblical. |
RichYoungNigger:Please keep your disgusting and unnecessary denigration of the Nigerian state to yourself. I don't know why you feel your country has laws that protects her citizens more than Nigeria. Have you read our tenancy laws before regurgitating this preposterous absurdity to a whole country? And I hope you are not writing from the immoral United States of GAY practitioners? Lawlessness happens anywhere in the world when the unscrupulous elements decides to take advantage of the ignorant. Even in your country not every citizen/resident knows ALL their rights------although there are greater awareness in some countries than others. In Nigeria, a yearly tenancy is entitled to a period of 6 months quit notice. Any notice issued to a yearly tenant that is less than 6 months is invalid and not legally enforceable. In the instant case, I will advise the tenant to disregard the poorly constructed "love letter" (PROVIDED HE HAS HIS LAST RECEIPT OR EVIDENCE OF RENT PAYMENT) sent to him until the devil pushes the landlord to forcefully eject him before 6 months. |
I will continue driving even if it means driving on ordinary rim. |
Imagine how ladies think. BTW what is the difference between someone who can move at midnight to give s3x and a prostitute? Money, ladies and s3x are inseparable. Although very few ladies are still responsible. |
Dfinex:Beautiful contribution. The father is obviously a tout and as such couldn't have raised a responsible family. Ordinarily, a well trained lady should have a mind of her own to determine the kind of relationship she gets into and the quality of such friend (s). To further justify the family's stupidity, the son even followed him to such a shameful display of barbarism. A well trained son should have advised the father to adopt a more responsible approach. For God's sake, we are not talking about a Son-in-law here. Like you rightly said, the father, son and daughter were lucky that the boyfriend doesn't have friends that doesn't take rubbish. Just imagine if that guy was a cultist and his friends were around. Even if they decide to respect the man's age, that his son and daughter could have seen hell on earth------- and guess what? Fear of death won't let them report the incident. |
