To be very honest with you GEJ performed above pass mark amidst all this problems bedevilling our nation at this point in time all because he is at the helm and some people like GMB swore to bring his govt down at all cost. GMB contested 3times and lost, his common sense should have told him that the people do not want him. He should act like an elder statesman for once, he should as well borrow a leaf from IBB. Must he be incharge before he could contribute to the growth of our dear nation? Even if he has good intentions he should do the needful by bowing out, he aint the only one fit to rule Nigeria, its not his birthright.Let him field a vibrant and compassionate person and support him. GMB can never i repeat can never win election in Nigeria. We are wise
You can now see that you are so wrong. GMB is now the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

PoliticsRe: Biafra Agitation: Arewa Youths Write ACF, NEF by hmohammed(m): 8:29pm On Nov 16, 2015
Tkester:
My bro, I've been following your posts on this biafran issue, honestly, just like you I'm agitated. I'm one biafran who pray and wish Biafra will come, because I know the implication it will have not just on Biafrans alone but on the whole sub Saharan continent. But I must tell you I'm utterly disappointed with IPOB. Our director was kidnapped by the zoo police and all we could do is to stage protests. Bro, this is a huge joke!

Let me be clear, Nnamdi Kanu comes to me as a very intelligent fellow, and I think it will be pure foolish for him not to know that he is guilty of sedition and in a lawless country like Nigeria proving his case as seditious is a very easy thing to do. First, I expect he should know that, but I'm disappointed he seems not to know it.

Second, there can be no freedom fighting without an arms struggle. If all IPOB can do is to stage peaceful protest, bro I'm afraid we may not even have biafran in the next 200years. If we want the world to listen to us and act, I tell you we must engage in arms struggle, benign as that may sound, but that is just the plain truth. And I think this is the best time to begin the struggle.

Third, if Biafrans should just develop a contingent army of 12000 soldiers and they start hitting oil installations and govt assets in Nigeria, believe me we will have Biafra faster than you can say yes sir. I've followed many IPOB talks, in fact it's beginning to look childish, Internet rants won't do anything, absolutely nothing. We need to start acting. The population or mass of people I saw in onithsa and port harcourt protest look quite encouraging though, we can seize upon that opportunity and engage these people into arms struggle and just sit back and watch how the negotiations for Biafra will be moved into a higher gear.

Let me tell you one final thing, many nations of the world want Nigeria divided, even Ghana wants to see a divided Nigeria, we can capitalize on this opportunity and have the needed fulcrum which will spring board the realization of Biafra. The fact that Britain wants a united Nigeria is pure useless in this case because we are fighting for a just and good mandate.

Biafra must be restored!

This is why I'm PDP all day. It seems that the rational half of Nigerians have shifted to PDP because the fanatical/ignorant half has fully conquered APC. The only people making sense today are PDP. The only governors not owing money are PDP. The only politicians that face their work and not the media are PDP. PoliticsRe: CCT Chairman, Danladi Umar Sued Over Money Laundering, Bribery by hmohammed(m): 8:01am On Nov 09, 2015
Titilayodeji13:
A group, Registered Trustees of Mission for Peace and Development Initiative has dragged the chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Mr. Danladi Umar, before a federal high court in Abuja, asking it to sack Umar over allegations of money laundering and bribery.

In the suit, the plaintiff also accused the tribunal chairman of money laundering, bribery and other vices.

The group, through its lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, also joined the Code of Conduct Tribunal, EFCC and Attorney General of the Federation as 2nd to 4th defendants.

In its originating summons brought pursuant to Orders 3 Rule 6 and 7 of the Federal High Court Civil Procedure Rules (2009), the plaintiff is asking the court whether, upon a careful and combined construction of Rules 1, 5 (1) & (11), Rules 3, F, L, of the Code of Conduct for Judicial Officers, Part 1, Paragraph 7 (B) Paragraph 9, 13, Part 11 & Paragraph 12 of the Fifth Schedule to the Constitution of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as Altered, Sections 5, 10 (1), 13, 17 & 22 (3) of The Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act, the 1st Defendant is a fit and proper person to sit in judgment over Nigerians and preside over the affairs of the Code of Conduct Tribunal and dispense justice to all manner of people who appear before it, without fear or favour, malice or ill will, having been investigated by the 3rd Defendant (EFCC) and adjudged to have run foul of the provisions of the code of conduct for judicial officers and other extant provisions.

The plaintiff also wants the court to determine whether the 1st Defendant is a fit and proper person and is estopped from sitting in judgment over Nigerians and presiding over the affairs of the Code of Conduct Tribunal and dispense justice to all manner of people who appear before it, without fear or favour, malice or ill will, having run foul of the provisions of the Code of Conduct for Judicial Officers, by secretly meeting with an accused person standing trial before him ex parte, without the presence of the prosecution and court officials.

In addition, the plaintiff wants the court to answer whether by virtue of the combined provisions of Section 6 (b) & (h) and Section 7 (1) (a) and (b) & (2) of the EFCC Act, Cap., E1, LFN, 2004, the EFCC is not under a statutory duty to prosecute the 1st Defendant having investigated him (1st Defendant), and found him culpable of the offences of conspiracy, bribery, abuse of office and money laundering, charges that drawn up by the EFCC (3rd Defendant herein), but never activated nor filed till date for inexplicable reasons.

The plaintiff is however praying the court for a declaration that by the combined effect of the provisions of Rules 1, 5 (1) & (11), Rules 3, F, L, of the Code of Conduct for Judicial Officers, Fifth Schedule Part 1, Paragraph 7 (B) Paragraph 9, 13, Part 11 & Paragraph 12 of the Constitution of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as altered, Sections 5, 10 (1), 13, 17 & 22 (3) of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act, 1st Defendant is not fit and proper person to sit in judgment and preside over the affairs of the Code of Conduct Tribunal and dispense justice to all Nigerians who appear before it, irrespective of gender, tribe, religion, or political persuasion, without fear or favour, malice or ill will, having run foul of the provisions of the Code of Conduct for Judicial Officers, and other extant provisions.

The plaintiff wants a declaration that in the light of falling foul of the above statutes, the 1st Defendant is not a fit and proper person to further sit in judgment over others, preside over the affairs of the Code of Conduct Tribunal and dispense justice to Nigerians.

No date has been fixed for the case.

PoliticsRe: Breaking News!!! 2 Dead As Rivers Indigenes And Pro Biafra Igbos Clash by hmohammed(m): 7:37pm On Nov 08, 2015
coolzeal:
A yoruba friend ask me: under what conditions would you support One Nigeria and let go of the Biafra struggle.

Here was my response:

1. Close down Lagos ports and Open up PH, Calabar, Onitsha and Warri.
2. Cancel all direct and major connecting flights to Lagos and Abuja airports...only local or minimal connecting flights will be allowed. While this is being done, open up Enugu, Owerri, Asaba, Uyo and PH to international flights...direct and major connecting flights.
3. Ask all international and diplomatic missions to move their embassies and consulates from Lagos and Abuja to Enugu, PH and Calabar.
4. All federal governments agencies in Lagos and Abuja shall be relocated to Enugu, PH and Calabar. CBN, NNPC,e.t.c shall and must relocate to PH, Calabar and Enugu.
5. All multinational companies in Lagos and Abuja, shall and must relocate their offices to PH, Calabar and Enugu.
6. If these conditions can be fulfilled and implemented, we can try one Nigeria and let's see if you Hausas and Yorubas will like it for a month. Meaning, Yorubas and Hausas needing to get visas shall travel to PH, Calabar or Enugu to do that. Same with flying or connecting flights, same with shipping and importing their goods, e.t.c.

The yoruba friend replied: you can't be serious, this is wickedness. I said really? Don't you think Biafrans have been suffering and enduring this very same wickedness for over 50 yrs? He was quiet for a few seconds and said: wow, you are right but it never occurred to me. I said, that's the problem with One Nigeria, those who are benefiting love it and would love to maintain the status quo.
Wetin dis oga dey yarn. Are u not aware of portharcourt international airport. Are u saying that we don't have lots of multinational companies in the south south ( mobil, she'll, chevron, aos e.t.c)
