merit455: My very good friend was invited for a job interview today in Lekki,very close to Ajah. He really prepared for the interview and even call me to borrow him some cash for transport.
The interview time was 10am,since he will be going from mainland, he wake up very Early, I call him around 8am to check on him,he was already in 3rd mainland bridge.
At exactly 9:05 am,the company secretary call him that the interview has been cancelled, he was already in Chevron, just closed to the venue.
The most annoying part is that she didn't say the interview was rescheduled, but completely cancelled! How can people be this wicked,why allowed him sit more than 2 hours in traffic.
This is not fair.
So sorry. May he find a better and genuine opportunity.
unclesuruoffi: A gorilla placed at a Kano Zoo, allegedly swallowed N6.8m as claimed by the finance officer of the recreational facility. According to the finance officer of the Kano Zoological Gardens, the incident occurred during the Sallah celebrations. BBC Pidgin who reported that the Kano zoo finance officer claimed the Gorilla swallowed N6.8m, further added that the managing director of the zoo, Umar Kobo, confirmed that the money is missing and that the issue is being investigated.
“The issue is under investigations for now and I don’t want to say anything on the matter, many journalists have come to meet me but I don’t want to talk anything. What I can confirm is that money is missing,” he told the BBC Pidgin.
Abdullahi Haruna, police spokesman in Kano reportedly said that 10 persons including those on duty when the money went missing, have been arrested.

The 19th Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria has approved 160 and above as the national minimum benchmark for admission for the year 2019 into public universities.
The meeting held at Bola Babalakin Auditorium, Gbongan, Osun State, on Tuesday also approved 140 as minimum UTME score for admission into private universities.For public polytechnic, 120 UTME score was approved, while 110 score was approved as the least score for admission into private polytechnic.
Recall that ngschoolz.net previously reported that the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (post-UTME) conducted for candidates seeking admission into higher institution was scrapped by the Federal Government. A successful businessman in China has been executed after being found guilty of raping 25 underage female students, according to a court.
Zhao Zhiyong had sexually assaulted the young victims on 32 occasions in the space of one and a half years. He was sentenced to death for raping last October before being executed yesterday June 4th, according to the Kaifeng Intermediate People's Court in central China's Henan Province.
In an online statement, the court said Zhao had colluded with an accomplice, named Li Na, who was responsible for scouting for victims. Between May 2015 and January 2017, Li brought underage girls to hotels or Zhao's home for him to have sexual intercourse with by force.
The court said it carried out the execution after receiving an order from the Supreme Court. Zhao was said to be an influential businessman in Kaifeng. He owned a large flour factory and was the deputy head of the Kaifeng Chamber of Commerce, according to Chinese news outlet The Paper.
Zhao, 49, had sent Li to look for 'young female pupils' from middle schools in the county of Weishi so that he could have sex with them. Li, together with eight accomplices, forced the victims to sleep with Zhao by beating them, intimidating them and taking pictures of their privates as threats.
The notice added that Zhao had raped 25 middle school students on 32 occasions, including 14 girls who were not yet 14 years old. Zhao's accomplice Li was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve.

Emeka who sells crayfish at the Gwagalada market in Abuja, said he graduated from the University of Abuja in 2013. He began to help his mum to supply crayfish to people and they were making good returns which motivated him to go into the business full time after university.
