what do you guys understand by PENSION?
I am in the same situation as the poster.
you keep my pension and I will not take any thing out and I am dying ,what nonsense.Give me the dam money and let me run my retirement plan.
A friend has a pension of almost N1,600,000.00 and he can,t withdraw his fu-cking money.This money can go a long way in his current project that will even yield better retirement stuff than the IBTC fu-cking pension savings.

DECEPTION I CALL IT

I ask our HR when i was still working in naija about the pension thing, the respond was your pension is being deposited every months. ok, i check IBTC, and saw that last 3 months was missing, ask IBTC where is the last 3 months, IBTC say my company has not remit the contribution, what i called HR, bla bla bla, what happen, excuse excuse excuse, and i was why is it not there, bros, a week after i sensitise my co workers and aluta is at hand, HR deposited my money sharp sharp. just make sure you call ur Pension fund admin and monitor ur contribution or else, someone is using the money somewhere else and later pay back after if ever.

U are right, when i was workinh in naija, i was with IBTC, i called in and was given my pension number and all details.



U just have to clock 50 before you can get the money, so sad. my money is still with them even though am not in naija again.

As far as am concern, Frank and his ex wife know what is better for them, if its marriage or divorce. I guess they will be regretting it one way or the other.

They both want the divorce, so no big deal but i feel for the kids, women should do alot regard their husband cos the impact of divorce is more on them than the men, i stand to be corrected. All i see in this is that both of them want to be in control and this cannot work, where a man a his wife are famous, they become someone else, i guess their marriage would still be on now if neither of them are public figure, so men beware of the ladies u are about to marry if they are public figure likewise ladies.

@ the Topic, sorry if offended but no offence or disrecpect intended to my wife or the ladies in the house, una know say na una be our mothers so how pikin go punish him mama I love my wife and still do, its just like you need to be mad when condition warrant and am calm now. Guys, am ok now o, cos i no wan put any wahala for my mind, my problem with her was her insensitivity to the matter cos the excuse she gave was nothing as far as am concern, getting to my mums place will not take her 30 minutes and the 15 miles was an estimation.

She never allowed me to even finished the discussion before she cut me and the answer was NO I CAN'T GO ANYWHERE, later giving some funny rain and time excuse.
Ok fine, did she call my mum to know if she alright? no, did she call next morning or even visit her? Saturday, Sunday, Monday, no call, no show, she just went there by force on Tuesday, haha! wetin happen, i've called her like 4 times before she decided to visit her.

I did not said my mum is in the hospital, she is just fine, she is old and we don't allowed her stay alone since she turn 75, she has an house help. The house help had an emergency at her home in Ijebu and had to leave at that night for home, hence the reason i called my wife just to help for the night and we can figure out what to do the next day, that all i ask.

Anyway that one has passed, next time i know where to turn to for help, just pray i never need that kind of assistant again.
My problem is that whenever i need help from her, she always failed me, why having a wife you cannot turn to when you need her help.

Anyway God dey and will always be there.

Yes am not in Nigeria, my wife is just like 15 miles away from my mum's place and they are both in Nigeria, if am around i will not even bother her, that is me.

The Igbos are hard-working people and ready to survive no matter the condition and the love for their family.

If she and your mom had a great relationship,she would go straight away without hesitation.
There has to be a very good reason for her insisting not to go and i bet you know something about it.For her to dig in her heels and be this obstinate, it means there's no love lost(praying your wife is not one of dem wicked broom flying mami wotas).
Please,if your mother is old,get her a 24 hour caregiver or ask your siblings to take care of her so this situation doesn't occur again sir.

In the hospitals now,we see many young men coming in with strokes,mostly caused by high bp,please don't follow that path this one your blood dey hot.

i have taken to your advise so i wont end up in the hospital. the last i want in my life is to enter hospital for anything, cos it not worth it.

I will find a solution to this, like i said before, i never command my wife for anything, she is just the type that fails you when you need her, several times i need her she failed me not even issues that has to do with my mum or anyone.

Under normal circumstances, your wife shouldnt have hesitated to go and stay with your mum; she would do the same for her own mum.

However she must have her reasons for not going beyond the rain and its late excuse and your "punishing her" (whatever that means) without you findng out what really prompted her actions will only further make things worse.

I called her not too long and i tried to talk sense into her and to know what was her main reason why she turn me down, her reason just make me know that she is insensitive to my plight at that time, infact am raving mad now, make she just dey thank her God am not home now, but i promise her

i can't just reason why she can't help someone who has been good to her all times, what does she has in mind against an aged 80 years old woman for God sake and she knows am not around to help. This woman has failed me when i need her at one time or the other. well for me, i can't tell if i ever have to leave home cos there was nono after my dad pass away, i was 6 then, moved to my sistas house till i finished my secondary. later moved with my mum just for a year when i secure my admission into university. i will say i moved out finally when i was 20 during my uni days.

after graduation, i moved my mum to my place and finally leave her when i got married, its just different for people as the situation of everyone here is different. I will say mostly after university, ,may be NYSC, that is for boys, for girls after marriage which is the norms in our society.

Miss horny4u made a fantastic point here in the bolded part of her post, that statement appealed much to me.
I know that our culture, upbringing and family values gave us all such mindset that had you boiling at that attitude displayed by your spouse. Normally your wife is expected to do that but there may be more to her reasons for not doing that than met the eye. The fact that she refused to go be with her is an attestation that they are not comfortable with themselves.What is the relationship between her and your mother? If they are estranged, it may not be your wife's fault alone. Don't go blaming her for it all. Your wife doesn't want to go be with her so you can arrange for somebody else to do that, it sure will hurt but refuse to let it weigh you down and it won't.

Your statement showed that you are aware of some friction between them, why not see how you can smoothen their relationship by communicating with the two to know the differences and deciding on how to go about making peace. You have to tread carefully doing that and not play the blame game, these are two women that mean a lot to you. Don't they?

I don't like bothering anyone with something i can find alternate to, like i said, its an emergency and she is the closer to my mum than anyone else, and i don't have option, my mum is aged and we don't let her stay alone anymore, someone of 80 years, i just notice that in her behaviour with my mum alone, i can't explain it, though i make sure i separate my mum affair from my wife affair cos of this kind of situation.

My wife has being misbehaving recently in respect to my mother, i need her in time of emergency as i called her to stay overnight with my mum cos the person that stays with my mum had an emergency and had to travel home that night, she refused giving excuse that its already 9pm and bla bla bla, its raining, so i let her make her decision only to find out that she refuse to go there.

I also know that she has these kind of attitute toward my mum which gives me a hint of her being a "me and my husband kind of woman" and me am will not condole that behaviour, definitely i want to find a solution to this cos am boiling right now.
