I did mine at a Tomson/Prometric facility in melbourne, I think they handle the exam world wide. |
I've used the nigerian embassy in australia (it's located in canberra in an area where practically every country has there main embassy) and it's total crap, they're slow, don't help at all with problems and generally give you the "I could do that but it would mean I have to do something" line with everything you ask. |
Plus there is another bad thing about it, They speak french (which incidently was the reason I went, school trip) |
I was refering to one of the original pictures of new cal not yours of Lagos. |
I've been there (and stayed in the hotel in the picture) and while it's a nice enough place for a holiday I wouldn't want to live there. It's not anywhere near as clean as those pictures make out, there is literally garbage everywhere. Everything is really expensive and getting around is difficult. |
How is a game ported to macintosh better? I don't understand how something that comes out later and has less support in both mods and multiplayer is better than the windows version. and if Microsoft is going down they seem to be posting rather large profit compared to the wonder child mac. |
While piracy maybe a reason why people in nigeria use it what about almost every single buisness in 1st world countries, I assure you that they do not pirate windows. |
Either way your still dead. |
you still have a much higher chance of being killed in a road accident, yet you still drive. |
When I help friends look for a car I use a site like www.drive.com.au then if its good we'll go and take a look. That site is good because it has specs for most of the more popular cars around (like performence and fuel consumption) |
the last interior update they got was quite pleasent as well but the one before that was a bit :S (VX series in perticular, as that varient was showing its age badly) I can grab a picture of the interior of my brothers car if you want (he drives a VY) |
I found some pictures of the interior for you as well, and you can judge if you think its poor ![]() From the calais v and from the ss-v (the car in the video) https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_Calais_V_054_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_Calais_V_046_m.jpg ss-v (i don't like the colours here that much) https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_SS_V_019_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_SS_V_027_m.jpg |
I was surrounded by nigerians, and I didn't notice anything other than friendly service. On the other hand on emirates I have noticed that they can be a bit racist (mostly the stewardess's from the asian countries) Emirates don't actually say anything bad, they just seemed to come to me first even though I was in the middle of the section. |
I have no idea, and to be honest I think that it's unjustified. My parents have a BMW 3 series and its interior is no better quality than any of the top end holden stuff (which is also slightly cheaper) The new car has received very good reviews in those two aspects actually, both in handeling and finish. So it should be interesting to see what happens when it hits the public |
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/hidden_hunter/win073-.jpg Easy and simple to work with |
Uh gbade, I've use an iBook all the time (i've got one on my lap at the momment in fact) If you think apple is original I think you should have a look at the "new" features coming in os x 10.5 Leopard, then come and tell me how there original again. Obviously the mac has advantages over windows as does windows over mac, blind devotion to one system is just plain ridiculous. |
I don't like apple computers because their hardware is overpriced, their support line is garbage and the security point is null in my oppinion because it would be a very foolish thing to assume that you can't have any virus's/spyware. I also don't like apple's buisness practices, for instance the iTunes music store and compatability with other players. |
Todd Terry:I've flown the Lagos->Paris sector with air france and they were anything but racist. They were extremely patient with some some passangers who were abusive |
Really dumb idea travelling on illegal papers, if your caught here (which people usually are) you are deported and owe the government the cost of the time you've spent in immigration holding (can be months) and the cost of an airfare to return to your country. This cost would routinely be past US$10,000. |
Seun:Seun that's incredibly cheap for a segment like that. It costs about $2400 Econ from here to lagos and buisness class (which you want for such a long trip) is $10,000 (return) I've flown on lufthansa but not united and they were totally crap, no personal screen in econmey, unfriendly staff. Meals that could of been dogfood previously. Avoid like the plague. Usually British Airways is a similar price with better features, even KLM/AIRFRANCE would be a better pick, |
Found a good example of a video of stability control being demonstrated and what it means for car safety. Thankfully though its not some scientist guy explaining it but a member of the holden precision racing team, so it show how it can control a slide (and then how the slide goes without it turned on) http://media.drive.com.au/?rid=20846&sy=drive&source=drive.com.au%2FEditorial%2FArticleIndex.aspx%3FcategoryID%3D55&t=5K76T6&ie=1&player=wm7&rate=1761&flash=1 (Warning contains Australian accents) |
I was interested in Nigeria Airways when I saw all there old equipment parked at LOS airport. Shame to see the "classic's" covered in junk and grime |
what bit don't you understand on the site? |
he needs to visit this page then and find the most applicable catorgary there. http://www.immigration.gov.au/immigration.htm What skill is he bringing in? |
it would be better if we did it here so more people can read it. As for finding your way here, emirates offer the cheapest flights as far as I know. Fill out forms with complete honesty and you should be able to come, you also need to be vacinaated against a few diseases. If you follow the prompt to apply for a visitors visa it should give you the information about what you need medically. What specific questions do you need answered also. |
Here is a good place to start for Australia http://www.immigration.gov.au/ Make sure that you stress to them the importance of filling out the forms correctly as people who incorrectly fill out forms get deported. It should be easy enough to get a study or visitors permit but getting a workers permit is much more difficult A 6 month visitor visa (you cannot work at all with one of these) cost AUD$70 (N70000) |
If it's around the same as the current commodore it shouldn't be too bad, my brother has one with an older engine (3.8l V6) (worse fuel efficiency) and that still does around 10L/100k and about 13/100k in the city. One of my friends managed to get the consumption on the 5.7L v8 in his parents car well into 40L/100k when he was driving, rather quickly. (an old commodore clubsport) Most of the cars will be bought by our government for fleet vechicles anyway so it doesn't really matter ![]() The dynamics of a camry will never really measure up to the commodore either, I don't know if you've ever driven a camry but it's one of the most boring cars I have ever driven (some hyundai piece of $@$* takes the cake as the worst) |
It's a perfectly normal practice here, girls give gifts or money to guy's and guy's do likewise. |
happy birthday from the land downunder ![]() |
obua:Nope, the VE commodore is a completely clean sheet design. Though it could be exported using those names. |
Here are some more pictures These are of the fast version https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_SS_V_001_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_SS_V_007_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_SS_V_005_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_SS_V_019_m.jpg The luxury model https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/WM_Caprice_061_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/WM_Caprice_062_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/WM_Caprice_063_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/WM_Caprice_072_m.jpg Then the affordable luxury/performence (about A$50000 N5000000) https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_Calais_V_031_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_Calais_V_033_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_Calais_V_034_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_Calais_V_046_m.jpg https://img.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/2006/07/16/VE_Calais_V_054_m.jpg They also have a pretty good mini site on it as well http://www.holden.com.au/www-holden/jsp/campaigns/vecommodore/newcommodoreframe.jsp |
