I feel sorry for the familes affected, both the hostages and the people that will feel the effects of slowed oil producton.

I'm not sure how many of these militant groups think about the Nigerian's that they are hurting themselves passively, you don't need a gun to kill somebody!

I can't honestly see any positive effects of them demolishing pipelines, alot of them seem to claim that they want these multinational's out so they can extract the oil themselves but how do they plan on doing that when a) there's no equipment left b)there's no skilled technician's left?

I don't see a way in say the next 20 years that Nigeria could sustain it's own oil buisness (even before corruption etc is taken into account)

I'm not entirely sure what the smuggler's expect when they were stealing oil?

A nice note from the army perhaps?

All I want to know is what god actually tells there subjects to go and pillage?

From the study's of the bible i've had to read over the year's I can't honestly say I saw a passage telling me to go and murder non beleivers, I assume that the muslim (koran isn't it?) doesn't tell them to go and kill non beleivers?

So where does the idea come from?

Last I heard ice cream in Nigeria was costing (for the good stuff out of switzerland or the likes) was about $40 USD a litre.

Change it into a more stable currency then spend

I wouldn't want to work in the nigera delta where shell is currently at now (safety concerns - attacks etc), it also depends what your skill set is as well.

just because internet access is cheaper doesn't mean we don't pay alot to use it in a cyber cafe, most cyber cafes cost around $5 (N500) an hour but usually there also a network games cafe as well. :-)

I personally feel it's AMD, they cost less and usually perform better.

my room isn't that big, my parents room is about 4 times as large and has a connected bathroom. We do have a garage though

It could be kind of difficult to get some of the stuff I think , Plus I imagine that the paint wouldn't hold up to the humididity to well.

I like it perticularly because of how lammel makes an attempt to make some of the stuff more interesting that it really is by putting jokes etc in it, and by writing why you would use something and under what circumstances.
