Oyinbos!!!! They sure know how to demoralise and confuse us. Lagos is a great place and its never as bad as we are always too quick to believe. Most of this 'international' surveys are really meant for western audiences and their endless ego trips. |
Bloody Nairalanders!!!! Speculation! The guy never said he lost his job and he said clearly that he never complained of poor finances to his in-laws etc. Obviously something must have triggered his wife's not wanting to tell her family about the pregnancy and the mother inlaw to respond in the sense that "is that the next thing?" Let the poster provide more information on his circumstances before we rush to judgement. Could it be they just dont like him or has he tried (as many stupid Nigerian men do) over-tried to please his in-laws? unless i have missed something. |
Can we do 1m for immediate payment!! All things being equal. +447556202019 (call or text) You must give me adequate warantees and will send my boy round to view and review and we'd pay you following day in cash at any intercontinental bank of your choice or just give you a draft. I am not in town but want this ride and thats why you have to be paid as above. Thanks |
Can you sell me this car? For 1.6m ibi.edun@yahoo.co.uk Thanks |
Shey!!! Nigerians rushing to judgement. Bankrupcy is routine here and if you know your way - i.e. moved all your assets to your home country (Nigeria in this case) Then what is the problem? Bankrupcy is a big part of financial and tax planning here in the UK. Sometimes its a clever way for an immigrant to absolve his UK debts and go home with a clean slate. I dont know the facts but please dont rush to judgement. He still has a house here worth £450,000. Now how many Nigerians or in fact English people have that? My combined assets after working my pants off for 15 years in a professional job with 2 children has not afforded me that kind of house. The guy is not down and out my brothers so be careful what you say. |
Haba Ibime? Why now? Let us encourage and adopt good communication and co-operation skills - which are desperately needed in Nigeria. The issue should have been assessed and reported as simply "Not a failure". Describing the issue as a 'success' for any reason at all is really pushing it. I am sure the coupon yield is heavily loaded with risk premia. Who wouldnt given our sickening kleptomania and the relentless depletion of the ECA? M J Blige - sorry jare. |
Can I have this for 5 years @ 300K? That is N1.5 Payable in one lump sum? Reply here. Your response will auto call my email thanks. And more details please as well. For a US/UK based guy. Thanks |
Unrealistic expectations from both sides - thats usually the problem. And couples should start understanding that marriage is infact a contract. A contract to love, look after each other and maybe start a family. Marriage does not mean or confer ownership and control. If your wife becomes too dominant or unfaithful or selfish or uncaring (and husbands too by the way) then it is the terms of the contract that is being broken. You either accept it by staying or reject it by getting a divorce. And please in today's world a divorce is not a bad thing. It allows both parties to reassess their lives and to seek happiness and fulfilment elsewhere. I have never come across a man or a woman who changes after marriage. The same behaviours would have been displayed but most people are too loved-up to see it and even when they see it sometimes they shrugg it off hoping that oh! she or he will change. A dominant / Lazy / Promiscuous/ gold digger / aggressive or whatever will always remain the same person. FAULT - Both! |
Are you still selling this car? I am very interested +44-7556202019 (UK) Let me know thanks |
Would you accept N1.5m to sell this car immediate? |
My father is a lazy, irresponsible, wretched, controlling hypocrite and i hate him as much as i love him. Although as i get older the love has wained. Dont tolerate nonsense from your parents. You allow them to interfere in your marriage and that marriage is doomed!! They exploit you if you allow them to. They expect you to feed and cloth and provide for them in their old age whether they deserve it or not - the bastards. If your parent fight you over your money, wealth or asset - then you havent got one. Trust me. If your parents havent laboured hard to make your life better and easier, to make your life meaningful and perhaps worked hard enough to leave you a legacy (some inheritance, however small). that parent aint worth Poo. Too many Nigeria parents are worthless and it is the reasons why they have all the children in the world but cannot take care of any. |
Sorry egbon talk say na 1.2m immediately in pre-xmas crispy cash. |
I have 1.3m immediately for this car. Can it fly? |
Nigerian!!!!! Please get off your lazy pathetic arse and fight. That is all you need !!!!!! They wont stop until you unleash your fury on them!!!!!!! |
You stupid Nigerian people!!!!! The problem is YOU YES!!! YOU!!!! Sit down and keep Praying and waiting, wishing, wailing and moaning and groaning. You know you should revolt in your hundreds of thousands or millions even but you wont. You expect something, miracle, God, Jesus or Muhamed or Ifa or Sango or whatever else to come and save you - when you can perfectly do that in a matter of days. But Oh ! You wretched filthy cowards are not willing to die, not willing to pay the price for freedom (in the true African tradition). You keep suffering in silence in your millions watching your children die, foreigners use and rubbish your women, your wife sleeping with neighbours for N500, watch your girls prostitute themselves under your nose and your roof, your son spend the best part of his life not employed and in penury, while a few 100 thousands have turned your country into their fiefdom. Olosi people - you are already dead!!! But you dont know it yet. IBB and co. are well acquainted with your wretched cowardise and that why they are so free, so confident to insult you by contesting what has turned into their own election. YEYE muguns. Let her rest jare stupid god-forsaken people. Jesus sef don tire. Wonder why your prayers have gone unanswered. stay blessed in your wretchedness. E go better. |
Kai - where was the holy spirit or spirits when all these stealing were going on? You see in Nigeria, almost every individual suffers from a kind of delusion of grandeur. Just look around you - the pretence, the fake life, the unnecessary waste of money and resources in the name of being "class", building humongous worthless empty mansions, driving cars that are seriously uneconomical and logic defying. Leaders and officials travelling every second on unwarranted first class flights around the world (london to lagos offers first class at £8000 return - madness for a 6 hour journey to a wretched country and people). Unneccesary stupid stuff. A one-room dweller throwing owambe type of party when he runs into a useful little amount of money. Hungry men and women parading the streets with unneccesarily expensive mobile phones etc etc. clad in the best TM Lewins. Stupid people who are we deceiving? Ourselves!!! This is the mindset that creates our so called leaders. People trooping to silly useless churches - worshiping a dead God forgeting as well that they are already in HELL - cause thats what Nigeria is. |
How exactly did "God" made a person a chartered accountant? or the manager of this or that place? I have never heard such stupid sentiments expressed by my European/American/Asian colleagues! Those things manifest from hardwork and merits. My friend told me God is great because he got a visitors visa to the UK. Now what has God to do with visa afterall he created a borderless free plains (i.e. the world) This is all man made. It s a great time to be a pastor!!! it appears there are millions of muguns to get rich from. |
I dont worship "God" and I most certainly dont praise "God". How do you explain the fact that claims made here by the worshipping Nigerians are true for billions of other non-worshipping people around the world. What has "God" done for you in Nigeria or whereever you are that has not happened for others like a non-worshipper like myself? This "God" thing is really depressing me cause my people just cannot see and look reality in the eyes. "God" is doing nothing for nobody. The "God" we worship and spend so much of our time and resources pursing , just may not exist. Our reality is so much at odds with our fantasy believes about "God". You are going through the most horror and yet you are going around shouting you are 'blessed' 'your cuppeth runneth over' - yet your wife and children are starving at home. Wake up from your slumber. and stop sedating your selves with this 'oh jesus christ bullshit'. Our uppermost and urgent duty in Nigeria is to find a way - including unfortunately violence - to change the governing system and culture that is consigning the majority of our people into life of endless wretchedness and multiple suffering. I told you so. Nigerians please wake up!!!! |
Nigerian!!!!! with their big empty trousers!!!! How many of the respondent here can produce that same N50K!!!!! Asu-asu!!!! Most Nigerians are idiots who brag so much about what they havent got. The other day a fella begs for N10K, I said that s too much which he replied N10K is nothing. Well then why are you begging and desperate for Nothing? Bobo, take the money and go do whatever you like with it. And before you start running your mouth Nairalanders, I am a millionaire many times over and I worked for every kobo. |
The whistleblower should be damned and boomed. he/she is not fighting a moral cause but evidently bitter and seriously twisted. Lets have his/her name published as well |
Both the sponsor and respondents here bemuse me greatly. whichever way you look at it, the Nigerian people deserve the government and governance they have because they ACCEPT it. I love Nigeria for sentimental reasons and the UK for economic protection and safety. But if you are earning pittance here in the UK, and permanently in a low level without personal development (care arse cleaning job) and turning out children like roaches in your council flat or overcrowded and overshared flat, you might as well call it quit and head back home. |
They lent out more than their 1.whatever Trillion capital and now those loans are non-performing. What a country, what a people |
Our yeye people - when will they ever stand up and fight? Too busy waiting for Jesus!!! I suppose. Nigerians deserve our wretchedness and suffering. Why spend years blaiming the oppressors (who for the last 20-30 years are less than 10,000 in number) when the wretched and impoverished masses (over 140 million!!!!!!!) stand idly by looking at their future and lives ruined beyond reason. Fela said it all. Let Tinubu be - abi be ko? |
Nigerian people! Bunch of bloody cowards and muguns!!! Pity sufferheads - wont do anything about it. Yeye people. |
Allowance! Bad Idea!!!! Especially with the "entitled type" (one with the prized possession) - Very bad idea. Give her what you have whenever you wish but do help when she is genuinely in need. |
One thing has always worked for me - over the years and cuts across race, nationality, ethnicity, religion and what not. Chase and do all the exciting stuff if you want but most importantly DONT GIVE A DAMN!!! Dont ever let her think she's got one on you. Dont fall in love too soon and dont tell her even if. A bit of show-off cash helps but keep it very far from the greedy, gold digging ones. Cash will get you laid but will not get you the babe (got my drift?) Be intriguing, be different, be CONFIDENT even if you are poor, jobless or whatever else you label yourself. Tell her you love her and start showing some silly emotions - that just turns them right OFF! BE BRAVE, BE YOURSELF - she would bring her Ikoyi dollars to your Mushin apartment and you will be loved up for real. Try it!!!! |
I am conducting a research into the root of our on-going, unceasing economic and political problems. There are times when I blame the 'leaders' and times when I blame the people. Our 'leaders' come from our people and they express and manifest the mentality and backwardness of our people. Please I need all the help I can get from articulate, thoroughly thoughtful, aware and matured Nigerian - from any walk of life and location but preferably those who are resident in Nigeria. |
E no finish, e no finish, e no finish, ojoro - Fela Anikulapo Kuti Yeye Nigerian people, cowards, wretched Muguns. Keep suffering and just maybe your Jesus Christ will come and safe you someday. Useless sufferheads. Since 1970s we (100+ millions of people) constinuously raped, pillaged and humiliated by oppressors who hardly number more than 3000 at any one time. No wonder 85% of the Nigerian income is enjoyed and controlled by less than 3,000 people and the remaining 15% left for the hunger striken millions to fight over. I beg lets hear word jare. Last time I visited Bar Beach I saw hoodlums charging gullible and stupid Nigerians dollars, sterlings and lots of Naira to visit what is so clearly a designated public place. I objected and was left alone. I am sick and tired of blaming the oppressors, Now lets put the searchlight on our mugun and docile people. This very issue will die down in a few weeks time and the masses will continue with their wretched existence. |
What do you call 'innocent bystanders' congregating around or about a leaking gazoline pipeline - well SUYA like one of the contributors called them. Most pipelines are long term infrastructure like bridges and are made to last 60 - 100 years without the need for constant maintenance. Nigeria is the only country in the world where we have repeatedly experienced burst pipelines of this nature due SOLELY to vandalism. I lived at Ejigbo - well known for depots and network of NNPC pipelines. Believe me I know what I am talking about. I have no sympathy for both the vandalists and the moronic bystanders. If this was the case of a petrol tanker falling over on the road and killing innocent people in the process then we have a true by-stander situation and the government would get my blame. Georgecso, We all know our roads are bad and hazardous - that is something we are all aware of. For our own safety and that of other road users it is incombent on each of us to drive carefully which includes slowing down and driving at a speed appropriate to the condition of our roads. But No way Not Nigerian. Look we the people are really the problem with Nigeria but of course government officials and politicians are the usual easy skapegoats. |
