PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is A Very Weak President – David-west by ibedun: 11:23am On Jul 31, 2011
As one person said if OBJ with his unruly stronghead attitude failed to change Nigeria for the better what can the "sisi" GEJ do?

The truth is the onus is on 140m Nigerians to change the country. Surely we cant keep waiting for miracles from one man.

We the people are responsible for the kind of governance we have.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan: Nigeria Is Not A Failed State by ibedun: 12:24pm On Jul 16, 2011
Nigeria is not by any definition a Failed State.

THE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA ARE A COMPLETE FAILURE PARTICULARLY THE MEN.

All we do is breed too many irresponsible MEN who with their pitiful lack of self-control find it so difficult to get together and develop solutions for their own country. We keep celebrating the birth of nonentities.

I will be doing a long write up on Nairaland on why our MEN are a failure and absolutely useless.

PoliticsRe: The Wall Of Corruption In Nigeria Is About To Fall Down - Gej by ibedun: 12:03pm On Jun 04, 2011
So GEJ has passed the FOI bill. GREAT

Why do Nigerians sit around and expect everything to be done for them?

It is our responsibility as a PEOPLE to change our country. Nobody can / will do it for us.

GEJ has just done his bit (passed the FOI bill) the rest is now with the press and the PEOPLE.

When a country is full of clueless people then obviously the people must endure severe suffering.

GEJ has and continues to do his bit - this is not the time to expect or wait for miracles.

Make sure you go with your BRAIN and EYES wide open.

Be frugal and stingy with your cash. People are more impressed when you demonstrate that you have earned your cash and you know what to do with it.

You actually look like a clown when spending all that money foolishly, seeking "have arrived" recognition.

The power of money is retained by keeping it in your pocket! - not spending as most foolish Nigerians believe.

THANK YOU - PLAYMODE & BUILDER

ekt_BEAR - you are being naive like the dangerously naive leaders we have all over the place.

The US has no good intention - just forget it they are up to no good. Jobs and investment in an African country from the US? Are you kidding me or what? They are racist spoilers and they will only come in to spoil things. I am Euro based and have lived and studied in CA, i know this people and their mentality. Most Africa based Africans just do not understand that reality and the dynamics of race to this American monsters. Notice how they never talk about Africans or any African related issue without swiping us with the HIV/AIDS tag.

Fashola should tell them nice Thanks but no thanks.

Just go to American and look at the state of Black Americans.

RomanceRe: Why Are Nigerian Girls So Money-conscious? by ibedun: 8:21pm On May 24, 2011
Most Nigerian guys suffer from one complex or another.

Giving loads of money to women to attract them is a sign of serious inadequacy or complex. A mumu or suegbe

I let them ask and I say NO politely and confidently.

They always come back for more and they love my hard, disciplined approach to them.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan: Leaner Cabinet Impossible For Now by ibedun: 9:14pm On May 20, 2011
Seriously!!huh

Do you expect this guy to just simply violate the constitution even if for a good intention?

Are we losing our sense of reasoning, in a democracy!!huh.

GEJ should obey the constitution first, carry out consultations and then propose an amendment during his elected term if indeed there is a merit to this (more than just money/cost)

The provision was inserted into the constitution for a reason.

Many of you people in Nairaland cannot run a shop or local council meeting let alone a country.

Babangida to his credit (he has very few) said Nigeria is a very difficult country to rule because as a people talk/act first and reason later.

PoliticsRe: Is The Fg Really Serious About Improving Power Supply? by ibedun: 11:20am On May 10, 2011
Please enjoyo,

Would you mind posting the name of the contract manager or the person (or group) responsible for monitoring the execution of the contracts. Do you have a general idea of delivery timetable and whether the mobilisation and other payables have been made by the FG or indeed any commitment of FG have been fulfilled by FG.

Also, the location (i.e. ports) where all these imported Power grid stuffs are? What are these sensitive materials. Who shipped them in and why are they held at the ports - My journalist friend is in Nigeria looking for a story like this to publish. If you also give us the location of the warehouses in Asia so that can be looked at as well. These are things we need to expose.

He will gladly investigate this matters personally and publish it here for Nairalanders to see.

I can get you guys together just for you to be sure.
